Amazing food! Some of the best pizzas with thin crusts and the perfect amount of topping. The food does take some time to prepare but its worth the wait.

We had a Pretoria Dog Rescue, marketing meeting, and only had cooldrinks, but looks like a well-run family Business, and the Pizzas smelled delicious.

Piccola Italia is a family owned restaurant with real Italian food. Their food is of the best quality, they have a great selection of wines to choose from and they will always greet you with a smile. If youre looking for the perfect night out, this is the place to go. Their thin-based pizzas is definitely a must have!!

The worst pizza I have ever had. At R110 a pizza there was hardly any cheese. The bacon was hard and dry. All the toppings were in the middle. The pizza had almost no tomato base.

Had a lovely dinner there. Food is amazing. Service was even better and the price was the cherry on top.

A small gem in Monument Park almost hidden by what looks like a generator. Dont give up looking for it: an intimate restaurant close to Clicks. Really superb pizzas and pastas, a good wine list, friendly ambience, swift service. Highly recommended as regards all factors.

Awesome little Italian restaurant. Pizzas are really great. Good variety and wood fired oven. Small. Limited seats so book you make sure to get a spot. Maybe ask in advance if they have prawns. I was hoping to order but was not available. But the pizzas made up for it. If you live in the area you should have been there by now.

Hidden GEMThe food is fantastic!

This is a hidden gem of Pretoria. A little cozy Italian, family-run restaurant close to the R21 highway. We love the pizza made in the wooden oven. They serve pasta fish and meat too. Do try the Italian wine if you are here for a more authentic experience.

Really great wood-fired pizza!

I had the Amalfi pizza, it was absolutely delicious! I also have the curry (cant remember exactly which one) but it is one of my favourite! When ever I come here or order its a fight between the pizza and the curry, always a hard decison to make😍

Piccola Italia is a unique place. We tried it out a few days ago. The pasta dish was not appealing, and the service was slow and sloppy, they did seem short staffed. The pizza however, was fantastic! Id say 9/10.My recommendation would be to order pizza, and consider take away rather if the place is crowded.

Small place with only 10 tables for 4 people each. Four of the tables are outside - similar to restaurants in Italy. The food is very tasty and well priced.

What a delightfull little place. Food was really good and a huge variety of italian style food.A very good wine selection for such a small place. Really surprised by the good service, food and drinks.

I regularly get take away pizza from Piccola Italia, the quality is extremely good - it would sell well in Italy. I tried almost everything of the restaurant menu over the years and in general you get quite good value for money, one excellence is the trippa alla parmigiana (tripe, if you are keen on it - i definitely am) which is a challenging dish to prepare.The restaurant is rather small so the wait time is never above 20 minutes, the setting is very informal and the staff very friendly.Once a month they hold wine tasting events, which takes all the restaurant space.I will join one soon and post about it.

Waiters needs to be trained, especilay the ones that are wearing black uniforms.Theres delays with food which leads to cold food, simple small orders are messed up like when ordering tea, filter coffee is brought?No manager comes to you whilst eating to check if everything is okay nor does the waiters and you truly have to be patient for your cold food order!Huge disappointment for a first time experience,Definately wont recoment this restaurant or ever return again!There was more concern with table layouts than focusing on other customers to serve them hot food (customer service)!Its best to know how to run the restaurant from your kitchen and not the floor, after all it only takes one customer and one bad experience.

Unlike Justin Bezuidenhout, who just complains about the waiters and of course not being important enough for the manager to come see him personally to find out if his highness is having a good time, we had a good time.And, unlike Justin Bezuidenhout, we hate it when the Manager/Waiter comes to ask if everything is okay. They tend to do that just as you have food in your mouth.The service was excellent. We had a very good waiter that had a great sense of humor. Marietjie, the manager, was excellent. When the place quieted down she came over and had a chat with us.We really enjoyed the food and the service and we will be back for sure!!
