That last que of checking items is really annoying..those people take their sweet time as if we steal in that shop.Bad service nje , cant even hell customers to find certain products

Its pretty good store, theres wheelchair accessibility, theres humungous head room even forklifts can operate, however on month ends the place gets packed up

If you are around Hammanskraal then dont hesitate to make a turn at either Big Save Cash and Carry or Big Save Liquor Hammanskraal or Big Save Liquor Express. You will save a lot of money on your purchases because of the lower prices in all shops. Take note though, that they do not trade on Sundays.

The cashiers in the bulk department have a tendency to ill treat me and I reported the issue to the immediate supervisor yet its even getting worse. If I had an alternative, I would go there to stock my flour.

You dont only get searched in this place, but you get searched twice for items that that you have paid for 😡you stand in an extra long que to pay, then you stand in the extra extra long que to get a search like a thief (literally unpacking your grocery that you have already paid for onto a search bay while the security guard does a ticking excersice) then finaly at the exit door you wait for the other security guard to scan your receipt to check if you have paid indeed 😠dont waist your energy in this place.

A terrible place to do your grocery shopping. The management does not care about making it convenient for customers to shop, they are only focused on packing stock forcing their forklifts through the gridlock of customers, and moving around the store is a nightmare. I have never in my life been stuck in human traffic in any other grocery store before, and this traffic is not even a queue leading to checkout points, no, its in each and every aisle. Also, the store is ALWAYS FILTHY, boxes lying on the floor left there by the stock packers. After waiting in the checkout queue for at least an hour, you have to line up for another queue at TWO security checkpoints where they will take each and every item out of your fully loaded cart to check if it appears on the till slip, and yes, you have to do it TWICE! It is very depressing to have to go through this every time I shop there and I have to shop there because its the only place where they sell stock we need for my mothers bakery.

Chaotic! Check points leaving the store is horrible to say the least. Cakes turned out to be great better than the than the best. Prices are good which is why I tortured my self to the horrible checkout process.

We at wisane old age home and hospice are grateful with the grocery we buy every month even during the month because big save prices are affordable. Their cakes are tasty, fresh and stylish. They also do wedding cakes, just give them your cake design and leave the rest to them. Big Save ya rocka.

It was awesome I left the my wallet and the Cashier told me not to panic as she can park my grocery in the system... Within no time I was back to pay.

At least there was some space to move around even though I was not happy with their butchery department. If I see something that is being sold at the butchery and I want to buy, give it to me and stop booking things for your friends who are not even at the shop at that moment, this makes you look bad

You stand too many queues. First you stand a long queue at the tills and thereafter you queue again at the exit. The security will check every single item you paid for so that it correlate with what is in the till slip. I hate it.
