Its so frustrating to visit this store. Weve never had an exceptionally good experience shopping there, as the service at the tills is always extremely slow, even during quieter times.During our last visit, it was also the case that multiple items werent labeled with price tags. We asked a packer for the price of one item in the fruit and vegetable section, then went to the pet section just to find items without price labels there as well. Its annoying to repeatedly have to find someone who can assist us with getting the ​prices.We appreciate the friendly staff and specials but convenience is a crucial part of a good shopping experience.

Just stopped for a few items and was completely shocked at the staff and managements behavior. Firstly a countdown and a reminder that the store closes in 7min, 5min, 4min and 2min with a constant reminder that clients and cashiers should be heading towards the tills. This was by far the most unpleasant experience I have had in years. The cherry on the cake was the 2 announcements that followed. Even though the ques were long they still tell you to get to the tills. The staff are more interested in each other than the clients to the point of non existence Please I work 6 days a week from 5am to 6pm and not half day shifts, and when I am with clients I give them my full attention and I dont ignore or walk away from them.I am disgusted at the low standards that this Pick & Pay has fallen to and recommend that all your staff are sent to blue hills p&p for training on etiquette and manners.I will not support them again.

P&P really outdone themselves in December. Chose to open 10 broken tills from their selection of nearly 40. Thought I was in a Schuster prank.

The variety of stock seems to be diminishing compared to about 2yrs ago. The shelves are regularly empty of items. Some of the staff arent very courteous. Very disappointing so I have started shopping at Checkers.

The have new R100 specials, but be very careful some of the specials dont even go off at the tills and when u try to explain same, they dont even make any effort in helping u and refunding u. This is pathetic.

Very bad service, the staff doesnt know where to find stuff in their own work place. Will NEVER go there again.

They dont answer the telephones and they never have enough teller available .

Terrible customer service. Long Queues and no help. So much tills but only 20% in use, so much managers standing around but doing nothing to make things go smoother.

They mislead customers with R100 deals for electric blankets and when you get to the till its R599. Their policy of customers paying for the price they see doesnt apply. Mislead the customers. Very bad with bad excuse for R100 deals.

I was at teller 12 about an hour ago. The packer not only pierced with her fingers both my flour and sugar packaging, but she saw it fit not to wrap the 3 mugs (two of which she bad placed side by side in one shopping bag) I had just bought in paper. We pay for this stuff. We dont just claim it off the PnP shelves. A little respect for us and the items we have just paid for would be appreciated. And when I ask for paper to wrap the mugs, I am not committing a crime!

The quality of Pick and Pay Montana fresh produce department is a total disappointment and the prices are very high. I just bought fresh chicken fillets which are supposed to expire today, I drove the 20 minutes home with an awful smell in the car, when I unpacked the groceries the chicken was off. Total disappointment since I now have to drive all the way back tomorrow for a refund.

Worst service you can expect . Even the manager cant come and face you in person.Disgusting and filthy in this crucial time Id expect top notch hygiene. Not walking in a toilet like atmosphere..... pathetic

Worst service ever. Was charged normal price in 2 items that was instore advertised at special prices. When I brought it to till operators attention she said it had to be rectified by a till supervisor. After waiting 15min for a supervisor along with 4 other customers at the tills next to mine also waiting for till supervisor, we insisted that they call the manager. Waited another 10 min until assistant manager arrived and referred me to customers service counter for a refund. Only to be told there that it could only be authorized by a supervisor. Waited another 10 min for one to arrive. Totally unacceptable. Customers were leaving their trollies at the till with the holdup at the tills and left the store disgruntled.

Terrible service. I have tried phonibg 30 times and only once did someone pick up the phone.

HORRIBLE! dissapointing place to shop!!!. I have on numerous occasions bought icecream, only to find it too soft or partially melted. Tried different brands, thinking maybe the recipe has changed.. Today bought another, felt the container to ensure it is frozen. Got home and discovered that it has completely melted previously and the cream and water/sugar has seperated. Also bought pork meat at two occasions and once a whole chicken and it was off. I have had it with this shop. I would rather drive farther and pay more! If I could I would give it a minus rating!!!

Cashiers Are Very Rude, I wonder if they were ever trained what good customer service is, the really don’t have even basics of that on different occasions we experienced worst ever treatment. Two cashier just deny to assist telling me to go join another Q without a reason, actually when I asked why the other one told me that because the Q at her till is Long.

Absolute work experience. Saturday morning shopping and not a trolley available. Not even a basket. Very disappointed! !

This is how they get you caught buying over the festive season... leaving old special price labels on at the items... well look very careful before putting specials in your trolley. This was not the only OLD price label at items.

No service at all and the hand sanitizer smells like rotten eggs

15:50pm and 9 out of 36 tills open. Paying customers standing in lines of over 7 people in a line waiting to pay. I was one of many that left a full grocerie trolly wasting an hour and half of shoppong time. This wasnt the first and surely not the last time it will happen. When asking if they could look into opening more tills we were informed the staff is on lunch break. You know when its payday please ensure there is sufficient open tills to meet the quantity of paying customers. I would rather find another store and pay a few rands more than to stand in line over an hour after walking over an hour to get all your goods. Management need to relook the till staff allocation on busy days like this please.Today 29 July I went back to pnp after talking to the store manager, she assured me they are working on the staffing issues and if I wasnt being assisted as should be I could approach her. I went around 11am and the store wasnt that busy but the staff was all at their posts and the shopping experience much better. Thank you for attending to your customers.

We have been standing the queue for more than a hour, hearing there is problems with internet problem When our groceries WIth All The Specials was ring up, the system simply does not deduct any specials. AND THE TILL STAFF AND FLOOR MANAGER does not know any of the specials to do a manual deduction. SHOULD ANY IT PROBLEMS NOT BE SOLVE BEFORE MONTH END. This tells me that Pick and Pay is not up to standard.

Pick n pay at Kolonnade Retail is the worst place to go as their service is utterly useless, the cue will stand out the door of too many people not being helped by sloppy workers as they are. Highly disappointing.

Senior managers really need to address the staffing issue. Less than 20% of the tills open on payday afternoon. Staff on duty are overworked and have to bare the brunt of frustrated customers.

I am dissatisfied everytime I visit this store. Staff are charring to one another as if they are at a tea party and one has to actually speak up to get their attention. In the liquor store items are not priced and when you ask for a price they have to find somebody to go and swipe it in the main store so I walked out as I often have to do this because there is only 1 cashier in the liquor store. Fridays are a pain because of this and I have decided that in future I will do my shopping somewhere else

Service at the teller was exceptional with two very feiendly ladies assisting us. Ques were a bit long and only a few tellers closed. Will definitely return.

Never enough tellers open very frustrating! Have to wait and wait. Go to Woolworths and the service is fast and efficient.

Tried to exchange a faulty kettle, not helpful at all. I had to phone Mellerware and get confirmation that they need to refund or exchange. The manager still insisted that it is not their policy. Very poor customer service.

No available disabled parking bays today and while dropping my elderly mother off at entrance I was reprimanded by security. It took me all but 5 minutes in total. Between the ques and experiences such as today I have stopped shopping at Pick a Pay.

Nice Centre but, Car guards should be provided/paid for by shopping Centre if they believe it is required. I do not whish to pay for centers lack of security

We do a lot of my shopping at this store as the store is convenient and most of the everyday necessity kept.There are however some items that are not available eg. Certain teas Cereals etc. Shelving space could be a problem.The Owner and Management and most of the floor staff are known to us and found them to be effective.Thank You picknpay

This store offers a wide variety of products, most importantly, the products are mostly always in the same isles so its convenient and easy to find what you need.

Very poor customer service,unfriendly staff,rude till point supervisor,prices on shelf does not match system price.Out of all the many till points there is only about 5 cashiers working at a time. This place is a nightmare.

I totally agree with all the bad comments, reviews about this store. Today at 15:20 one of your ladies, just standing next to the cashier doing nothing, refused to pack my purchased items in a bag, even after the cashier also asked her. She just looked at me as if I am trash. I then packed my own things and then went to your Store Manager who agreed that Clients dont have to pack their own purchases. The lady in question had by then dissapeared between the isles. At least 70% of the staff at your store just stand, chat to one another or walk around doing absolutely nothing. If they are asked for something they think your are interupting them instead of realising that clients are actually the reason they are there and have a job.

The store is good but could have been better if they were selling cameras.

Between 13:00 & 14:00 pm 34 degrees plus outside & air-conditioning not on. It was extremely hot inside the shop. Requested at door when we entered to switch it on, but was not done. Will never go there again.

After the black friday the shopshelves are empty even thou products have been stocked on top shelve. In your booklet distributed in the record you show specials but the marked price was not in accordance. Furthermore was there no assistant to assist in the appliances department. I left and will rather go to Wonderpark

Are PnP allowed to have more than 5 tills open at a time? Why did they spend the money to build a-lot of tills if ever only 5 operate at a time?? You always stand in a line number 3-5 and wait to give your money to them. It’s unacceptable! Wont be back until good reviews surface about the situation with the tills.

Pick n Pay Montana is not what it use to be. Service is not up to the standard of the the other big shops. This morning there were no small trolleys or baskets. I had to search the shop for a basket and the trolleys were standing everywhere. Shelves were empty and the service was far from what is expected. I was disappointed.

Very clean and temperature control premise. Since this store is categorised as a PnP Hyper we would expect lower prices on all products especially basic nessesaties and not just a few selected with a minimal discount. Pay point waiting time is rediquelis with only a few till points open while the other 20+ till points is not occupied and closed off.

Terrible service today.... packers r slow.. supervisor no show when shopper in front of me had an item ring twice... eventually she bought 2 of the items to save time😠 noboby to help with a huge bag of compost from trolley to till.. really pick n pay Not used to this poor service... yet everywhere staff were standing around... getting paid for working on a sunday🤔

Used to shop at Montana Pick n Pay, until I was treated like dirt by the returns manager. Had a kettle broke 6 months into a 2 year guarantee, had the receipt number, date but no receipt. Manager would not help me, spoke to me as if I was a piece of manure. Never again

A large and nice Pick ń Pay with ample parking and some extra shops and services.

Long queues at slow tills and hardly ever a friendly face, with considerably higher prices than surrounding supermarkets. Regular stock outs on my favourites too. I try and avoid it at all cost.

Very bad service.Wont even give it half a star. Less than half of the tills were closed, and once you find a que to stand in the teller will close the till and when you ask them why, in return you get a snobby hand gesture. Stood in the que for 30min.
