True to its name, they serve tasty sea food.Great service with a choice of whet to sit in an open air or closed air environment.Its spacious , great for the pandemic time that we are in.The location is good as its easy to find with available parking.One may want to order their sharing platters as its easy on ones pocket.Be ready to spend that cash , Its not your Mugg and bean outlet!

3 stars because i wasnt satisfied with the food. The service from the waiter was amazing but i wasnt happy with my fish it wasnt done well my take away even had a bit of blood water to suggest that the fish wasnt cooked well

Tomatoe soup is very nice. It is spicy and so little bit hot. Grilled salmon is delicious. Salad with souce should be tasted. Decoration and musics are suitable for fish restaurant. Service was excellent. If you want to eat something other than fast food in Hatfield, you should give a chance ocean basket.

This was the worst fish and calamari we have had to date.. My wife and son had grilled combo, whilst I had fried. Both were terrible! Tasted burnt. Was very dry. Calamari very chewy.. Tasted as if done previous day and warmed up. Stay clear!

I am finally a regular customer and that is the only way they’ll make your food edible and aesthetically pleasing. Although the customer service is great, the quality and portion of food is a let down, it used to be great however it has fallen off. They don’t adhere to instructions on preparations of meals. It’s not bad, just be stern on what you want and how.

I have always been happy with their service and quality of their food.But on my last visit I was deeply disappointed with the the fish and prawns, which were dry and didnt taste fresh at all, either than that good place to visit.The staff is always friendly and efficient.

Clean restaurant, friendly staff, lovely relaxed vibe (we were there on a not-very-busy Saturday afternoon). The food was fresh and deliciously prepared and we didnt wait to be served. The restaurant is at the ground floor by a fairly busy street with both indoor and outdoor seating. The manager was very friendly and welcoming even warning us to remove our phones off the table (we were sitting outside).

For the last 3X times Ive been there the food quality seems to be getting worse. Change of staff? The grilled platter came watery and runny, could not eat anything off it. For some reason lemon zest was added to the creamy spinach and butternut side. I gave up.

Food was good I ate a seafood platter for 1 2 managers on the floor that are very friendly and attentive but shop not so busy at the time and waiter kind slow but otherwise food us good and price wise is okay .

I adore Ob outlets. Some are not great but all of them a good place to take the family.Just ensure you ask the right questions regarding line fish. But still a good place. This was the first one I frequented and is still on top of the list.

The waiters listen very attentively to what I the customers want and they deliver. A few places can claim this type of service. They are knowledgeable of their cuisine and arent afraid of a challenge. Five starts isnt enough.

Went there for supper around 18:30. Was attended to upon arrival. Im ordered a drink and our meals. The waiter really didnt take long to bring my cappuccino, it was tasty too. Before we know it our meals also arrived. The food was way too tasty. The Manager / Owner did check up on us at some point. The environment was so chilled and the staff all pulled happy faces. Really had a good time, going back for sure.

This is Monument to the Dutch pioneers. It a good place to visit and if you climb the stairs to the top the view of the surrounding Countryside it good. There is, a museum on the ground floor which shows how the early settlers lived.

An excellent franchise of the ocean basket brand, with the most friendly, helpful and good humoured staff that I have come across. Food is typical of ocean basket, essentially a happy place for seafood lovers. It has a decent smoking section too.

Ordered a Med veg salad to collect and their veggies were undercooked, holomus cheese burnt and the food portion was incredibly small. Was completely unsatisfied by the deliverance of the food and its taste in particular as I have had this dish before and what I had received was not it at all.Will most definitely not be returning
