Great shopping experience. Pricing right, no cluttered isles, controlled till queue. Even a lady offering you sanitizer whilst standing in queue. Only negative was too many staff standing around, they wait for you to approach them not they approach you. Overall great shopping there

Staff needs to improve their customer services on the floor. The visibility of staff attempting to assist is slightly lacking. Thus , customer spend more time touring the store as staff members are seen too busy with stock packing than availing themselves to customers.

They need to improve on their customer service and professionalism. I waited for an hour and couple of minutes for them to give me my stuff from the backroom/storage. The level of service is declining. It is no longer the same.

When to by a fridge whole process was 20 minutes. Just waiting for delivery on Monday. Got a call Monday morning received delivery around lunch time. My Mom is very happy.

Absolutely Manifique. The best Makro in Mzansi. Absolutely the best. Wonderful staff members. Always willing to assist at all times and that is reflective of their management. Today i walked into their store with my makro credit card that i had not used since i got it in 2019. Walked up to the team and only to be told politely that it has been cancelled due to non usage after 6 months. Frustrated as i was. Gentle courteous lady asked me if wanted her to reapply for me today still and i agreed. She also promised me that she was going to try and push for feedback today still after realizing that my team had been in the store picking all stationery required for my business since 08h30 this morning. We all left without buying and to my suprise within an hour after i had left she called me back immediately after receiving my credit approval again to once again inform me that both myself and my team can come back into the store to conclude our purchase. What a day and thank you so much team. I really appreciate all the efforts you took to make our day

Even 1 star is too good for them!!! We went to buy grocery 15min before closing... they announce every minute that they close exactly a minute after closing we were told that they close we need to go pay the lady said look around you theres no 1 else still shopping but you and we going home now we decided to leave everything on the trolley and go to pickn pay not coming back no more

So I bought a bike recently, a Raleigh 29 inch. Great brand, great bike. Infact, so great that I rode it twice within 4 days and the second time around, the rear derailleur snapped because of what I now think was a faulty gear shift lever. I didnt know this at the time and I thought thats just how the brands bicycles were. I took the bike back to Makro on Sunday the 17th, and the sales attendant wasted no time in telling me that it was my fault and I should learn how to shift gears. Great! Such amazing discernment! Its not like I have 4 years of experience in mountain biking or anything. I just needed a bike, so I humbled myself and kept my peace. Anyways, to cut a long story short, eventually the bike was replaced which I was happy about - although I really would have preferred my money back as my faith in Makro bicycles was now held by a silk thread. However what I noticed was that this replacement bike was different. This ones gears were tighter than the other one, and so there was no risk of the mechanism accidently changing gears while I was cycling. Further more, this ones brakes where not as well adjusted as the first one. So my conclusion to this whole story is, buying a bicycle at Makro is like playing the lottery. You are taking a risk because the quality of packaged contents can never be guaranteed. And I can back this up, the first bike I bought at Makro was a Totem 27.5. This bike had problems with its front tyre, every time I inflated it, the tube would pop out of the rim. I had to go fix this one myself. Moral of the story, dont buy bicycles at Makro.

Credit Card system off line😐Although this does not happen often, I will rate it a 1 star only since this is a huge inconvenience to their customers. There should be a back up for problems like these. Unacceptable Macro….

Very nice to shop at wonderboom makro

Usually when I visit the paint dep I have a standard experience. But when I recently visited the paint dep there was a paint consultant whos name is Koos. He assisted me by getting the correct shade of paint, after the one bucket leaked he got a forflift and managed to get a new bucket of paint from the top shelf with a smile. I would like to thank Koos for his exceptional customer service and his great friendliness. He is truly someone you would want to assist your customers.

I do my monthly groceries there, I prefer walking isle by isle to ensure that I dont miss anything. I like their promos, example, 5 Maggie noodle for R100.00. Ceres juices 4x6s for R100.00. Lots more specials. I always find what I need and want there. The friendly staff and sufficient number of tellers, no doubt. Best operating hours.

So I purchased a gas heater and a gas bottle from Makro Wonderboon. Handed the bottle in for a refill at their premises at 11:45, was told to return at 14:00. So I did, ended up waiting till 15:00 to get my gas bottle. All amped up to test the heater!! Arrived home just to find that the heater IS NOT WORKING!!!!!!! No seriously....

The store is good but the service when my washing masjine that is broken dont deserve a star. The people who must come to repair my washing masjine want a call fee of R450. But my masjine is still under gaurenty. Now they said on the phone my husband must open it. When we do that we will lose our gaurinty. So please dont buy any washing masjines from makro because you have to fix it yourself. The customer service to fix things ar useless. No stars for them

I wanted to just return a toolbox. Since I have falling in the que I waited more than an hour. Slow poor service.After I got my refund slip. Went back inside to buy something else. There is al lot of staff on the floor, but they are either busy on theirs phone, or busy chatting to each other, instead of helping the customers. So, after I got wat I wanted, which was very heavy and a male staff member would have come in handy. Then only a staff member came to me to put his sales number sticker on my box. Really. Is this what Makro are training their staff to do?Makro Wonderboom will never ever see me again.....

Very bad experience, waited goyhalf an hour at cellular counter, no helo, no wait a minute no service at ALLApparently the uge beautiful shop has only one person to serve at this counter, while more than ten staff members just stand around. Not good.

Great place especially if you go the week after payday. Generally not so busy . You can find most of what you want and need.

I am frustrated as the product I bought is faulty and now I have to go to the store again to change it. I mentioned to the store assistant that I was worried about the box that was visibly damaged and was taped closed again. And now I have to take time and costs to go back. I am not a happy person.

This store is grand. Nothing but good work from the staff @ Makro Wonderboom. I get the sense that the staff does it for commission but even then its amazing. My wife and I got assistance from a lady called Sbongile by the washing machine, lovely service, as a guy I didnt feel alienated from the washing machine conversation at all.

We went to purchase a TV on promotion. After a salesman asked what we were searching for,we showed him the advertisement. 30 minutes later we were still waiting. Eventually a Samsung salesman approached us. Within 2 minutes we were sorted. Makro Wonderboom has the worst service I have ever encountered? Pathetic is the only word that describes the service.

As it turns out, getting items out the store (i.e. buying) is much easier and more efficient than returning them. Waiting for a number of minutes now and there seems to be nothing happening and we are not informed of the reason for the delay. Meanwhile, the queue is growing.Yeah, eventually left after waiting 15 minutes in the queue - not what I signed up for.

Worst experience ever. Took over 2 hours to take out a phone contract. The sales lady was very rude and does not have any customer service abilities. She overheard us talking about which contract to take and eventually dit it on the wrong devices never asking us again. When we told her it is wrong she said well she already did it and if she canceled it now the contract will be declined. Will not support them again!

After buying an oven and reporting it as faulty, I have recieved no update or follow up regarding this after a technician was sent out. All I got was an email to state that the incident has been closed. Called your call centre and I was told to call Hisense but the number I was given also doesnt work. Makro wonderboom store number doesnt even work so to be updated on whats going on I will need to drive to your store which is an inconvenience. Stuck with a brand new oven I cannot use and so disspointed with the lack of customer service
