Me and my husband went to Game Menlyn to upgrade a Cellphone contract.The lady took 3 hours to upgrade a contract where we told her the number to be upgraded. She Upgraded the wrong contract and now for more than 2 months struggling to get anything out of the lady Johanna that upgraded the wrong contract. We are trying to get service and feedback from the Manager. No luck. We phone and phone and can not get hold of anybody to pick up the phone.This is the worst service we have ever receive from any Game store or any other store whatsoever

Located just close to the exit, its perfect for an in an out shopping experience especially for those new to Menlyn and stressed about finding their way out.Besides, this branch is fully stocked with a variety of products that are constantly updated. Staff is also very helpful, as youd generally expect.Its nothing special, really, just another department store,, but whatever it is, its worth checking out.

Bought gas heater, it didnt work and took it back. Upon doing that only then was is informed that the heaters that was on sale was rejects. No signage of warning, faults or that notice to say that on sale due to factory faults. It was brand new and we still needed to assemble the item. Very convincing.How do we trust a big retailer as Game Menlyn when they sell us faulty goods, as if it is a pawn or second-hand shop? Those will at least warn u and make u aware of what ur about to purchase....

Worst experience ever at Game Menlyn. Unfriendly staff not willing to help and they waisted my time for almost an hour. I had to help them fill in a simple document because they dont know how to do it. . They even made full of me in their native language, but luckily I took up Zulu as a 3rd language and understood exactly what they were saying and laughing about. Will never do business with them again.

Our son saved up for a tent, he saw it on special, loved it and asked me if I could go purchase it for him. I went to to Game @ Menlyn, and Andrew Maeko assisted me in getting the perfect tent at the best price!!!! Friendly, helpfull sufficient!!! For a mall this great, GAME stores is not doing itself justice

I am so irritated with that place, I will never go there again. I waited 1 hour for the only person who could help with a cellphone contract (she was on a tea break). When she eventually pitched, Vodacom didnt want to give me a second contract after I have a contract for over 20 years. Then I asked my husband to drive all the way with 3months bank statements and 3months pay slips. But the statements was not good enough, it had to be stamped even though they corrilated with the payslips. He went to a teller, paid a lot of money to print out statements witch was also not good enough. Now I have to go back yet again with stamped statements. You would think they want your support.

Terrible customer service, it took me more than 20 minutes for someone in the store to help me with a purchase. Scheduled a delivery date and they dont deliver on the day. They dont notify me of when they will come and when I call them, the sales people are talking and making jokes with each other instead of answering the client.

Worst customer service.Handed in my vacuum cleaner 3 weeks ago and they still have not sent it in for repairs.To top it off this is the second time.

Horrible. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful and music so loud in certain sections you couldnt hear yourself think . Staff were so busy chatting amongst themselves you felt you were interrupting. Wont be back.

Worst after service ever! I am seeing negative reviews with after care service. Is anyone at Game corporate the least concerned? Maybe not.Do not and I repeat do not buy any appliance from this game. The staff in the home appliances section are incompetent. First encounter: They did not understand what specials are currently on their website and couldnt explain inconsistent prices between website and in store. Second encounter: another purchase had an issue, so the appliance wasnt working, they are extremely rude and very unhelpful. My recommendation, spend less on advertising and more on customer service training. They seriously need training, not sure if there are any company values towards customer service.

The store was just okay i guess if only workers there are assistant maybe itll be better off. I wanted to buy paint and couldnt get someone in the department to help me choose from wich brand or colour for a tub, so i ended up with Builders warehouse

Went in to return a faulty electronic device a few days after purchase. Did not have my receipt but provided card, date and time that purchase was made. The store clerk could not find my receipt on their system and resolved that she would continue the search and call me back with feedback. That was more than two weeks ago. Will definitely take my money elsewhere in the future.

Absolutely terrible. Supervisor yelled at me and acted as if I was stupid because the price by the shelves differed from the price at the tills. When I offered to show her the label, she refused to come with me and said that I WILL pay what is displayed. Will never come here again

Its big and, and should have what your looking for. The only downside is that the floor staff has taken social distancing to the next level. Terrible when you need assistance, great if you enjoy hide and seek.

Went there to see if they had the product I was looking for to no avail. Not getting the product was not a problem, the problem was when a floor lady wasnt at her post to give us an alternative to where else we could find the product.We went to the customer service booth and were redirected to the information desk, where the manager was and could be able to call other stores and enquire about the availability of the product.The manager PAd a lady by Betty to come to her post to no avail. Another lady went in to the storeroom and came back to let us know that Betty was eating and is still eating, to our frustration, we went back to the manager and pleaded with him to call other stores.When Betty finally showed face, whilst on call with the Brooklyn store, the conversation was more informal and they were asking each other hows life and its been a while since theyve spoken and/or seen each other with infrequent giggles. We left the store in disbelief of the service we had received without even hearing from her if there was stock available in the other stores.

Well managed and housekeeping on good standard though it was quiet for a big store like game.

I dont like the fact that the security has to search your bags after you buy. Imagine spending about 4k on lots of things.then on your way out, a big lady asks you to open your bags so she can stick off everything on the slip.

The games are Great ,i like basketball more, I wish the bowling prices were a bit cheaper.

Great specials only issue is and which is a common thing is that the sales guys seem to judge people according to how they look(dress) and do not assist, pity as I was looking to buy a TV but went elsewhere as the guy was not bothered to assist.

I love this store, you get what you want ,they give good service all the time ,nice, clean nd organized

No staff to help white customers in the radio/ computer section. Lot of staff in their pink shirts around, but either looking through you or totally ignoring me - although it must be said that it was already 16h30 and too near to going home time. After calling one of the assistent managers from the client desk and asking him to help me, he called one of the seeing blind staff, but they could not find the radio on display and decided to opt for out of stock - although there was one on display. Conveniently there was a smaller store right opposite Game Menlyn where I could be helped. I would not recommend Game to anybody.

Has most things you need from groceries to clothing and hardware, like Makro, but you can never find a sales person to assist you in store. Management to to beef up staff or make sure they engage more with customers, because this feels like a self help store, in fact, i think the staff deliberately try to avoid customers otherwise they are forced to do some work

Terrible service, went to Game Woodlands, no stock, asked gentleman to look which store has stock, he said Game Menlyn has 16 units, I drove to Menlyn, lady informed me they have no stock, asked to speak to a manager, was helped by a gentleman, no stock in the whole of Pretoria. Can only get stock next week, promotion ends today.And then lack of stock was blamed on COVID-19. How is that possible, was the chainsaw infected with COVID-19.

Very bad service. We went to Game to buy a new cellphone but all their stock were finished. The agents did not apologize or try to remedy the problem. I surely wont visit Game Menlyn again. Very bad experience. Rather try Marko or New World at least at these stores you will get service!

Not to much in store, shelves look empty, heaters all gone, bought a oil heater (with no box) Demo and no discount was given, even after we spoke to the manager, she said that it still has a warranty, even tho it had a few bumps and scratches, not making to hot, you can feel the heat if you stand right next to it... But okay experiance I guess...

On the 9th of November 2018, we were at the counter as my sister was paying. She was very upset as it would be her first birthday since my dads passing, she was crying. I told the cashier lady its her birthday, and then she called over many other ladies to sing to my sister.I just want to thank them, they honestly made my sister feel better, and special. I posted it online, and everyone laughed and admired the staff!I wish I had their names, they need to recognition. Thank you very much!Keep it up! Your staff are amazing

I was absolutely shocked at the staff service. Had to ask 3 times for someone to help as everyone (roughly 6 staff members standing around a desk) was too busy chatting and on their phones. The lady, who then eventually helped, could not pull herself away from her cellphone long enough to give me more than a one word response to my questions. Will not be shopping there anytime soon.

Very big retail where I found everything in cheaper price for my household

Was at game liquor on 22 October 2020 and they closed the door 15 minutes early without telling us anything. We stood there outside in a que like fools. Till they told us that the manager doesnt want anyone in the store at 5pm.

Great service. We had a blonde moment with our oooold fridge, we thought it had given up on us and went to buy a new fridge at Game Menlyn, only to discover our fridge was still working perfectly, the globe had just blown! Game refunded us for the fridge with no issues.
