Visit the shop after speaking with customer care to upgrade my cell contract to the one as applied for originally. Needless to say, this shop could not assist as they were off-line. The good news is that they had a cover for a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, no one else in the Kolonnade did.The bad news is that they applied the screen protector on a skew, we went back to get it fixed for free.Unfortunately, they used the same screen protector to re-align it straight. It started to show bubbles and peeling off at the sides, so much so, that I had to remove it as the fingerprint reader didnt function properly.I dropped the device that same day, screen cracked.

The automated answering system picks you up and then the automated system gets stuck on the Record your message and press pound or press star to talk to an operator If you leave a message it hangs you up and if you press star to speak to a operator it just keeps repeating itself and doesnt put you through to the operators.

My compliments to Elisha who assisted me with a contract upgrade & change of ownership a few weeks ago. He is by far the most competent Vodacom employee that I have ever dealt with in all my years of being a customer. He was extremely friendly & informative, and even when he himself had issues with the store system he stayed calm and sorted everything in a professional manner. I highly recommend that Vodacom start hiring employees like Elisha who are amazing at what they do! I would like to give Elisha himself 5 stars, but the rest of the shop is still lacking.

They have a number system, but are selective as to when they want to help some clients. When they are finished, they dont inform you that you may go, but just let you sit there, so that they appear to be still busy helping you. If you can finish anything online or via telephone, rather do it that way than visit this shop. I will avoid them in future when possible.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I had to return to the store after a particular staff member made a mistake, which led to me nearly giving this store a 2 star review. Upon my return to the store however, the staff and the manager went out of their way to help rectify the issue. They spent nearly two hours, trying everything to help, and solved my issue. This was done with a smile, while being supportive and apologetic. The store is extremely busy though, so be prepared.

Just absolutely appalled by the level of customer service we recieved in the shop. Young, unenthusiastic Afrikaans guy apparently on a mission to make us disappear from the shop as fast as possible. Gave snotty answers when we asked about data bundle offers and told us that a prepaid number can only be activated if we had our lease contract with us. When we mentioned that other Vodacom shops dont require it, he just responded by saying that all shops can make their own rules. I mean seriously, dont you guys interview your employees before they start their pathetic attempt to sell your products?

Good and bad, really - service was mostly good and efficient when I transferred my contract onto my own name... but when it came time for my upgrade, things went south, culminating in the branch not actually having the phone I wanted to upgrade to. So, off I went to Vodacom Menlyn Maine to get the phone I paid for. It was still the wrong one, but I suppose getting a different colour isn’t the end of the world. Still, I guess dealing with any Vodacom place will be a β€œmeh” experience.Update: Vodacom called me to ask about my experience and the manager really seemed to be listening. So that was nice at least. I suppose running a huge mobile network isn’t easy, so even just looking attentive is good enough for now. Still meh, but hey.

Its the attitude of staff members that is really bad. Second time around I have been in that shop & it seems almost everything after 18h00 does not work.1.1st time I was told that there are no sim swaps after 18h00. But let me tell you I went to an owner managed outlet for Vodacom in Montana & they took my number gave me new sim card & said they could do it 1st thing the following day & notify me. I did not need to come back to their shop. (SOLUTION ORIENTATED CUSTOMER SERVICE )2. Today I walk in at 18h02 to get my data & watsapp backed up & there are 6 staff members sitting & chatting. They say they cannot help because the Tech team knocks of at 18h00. They did not even attempt to find a solution. Bad bad bad. Service! After messing up the screen cover of my friends phone how lives in Piet Retief. They said i can come and collect a new cover when they have stock. After my 4th attempt, today they have stock but dont want to give me the new cover. They say they need the old one back. Dont care if i have the slip or not! Only now do they tell me this. They know they messed up the old cover but still dont want to give me the new one. Do you know how far you are from Piet Retief?? Never mentiond that they need the old one back.
