I am sooooooo utterly disappointed! We always get great food from this Spur. Tonight I got a hair in my crumbed mushroom while biting into it, and pieces of cloth/ fluff in my creamed spinach! The butternut was undercooked but yet mashed so there are hard pieces in the mix. Chicken strips and Calamari completely dried out and not at all juicy and tender as in all our previous orders from here. We ordered through Mr Delivery, so there is the usual substantial premium ontop of the original price (which we know and dont mind if the food is good!!), but our cheesy garlic sauce was handed to us loose and was not included in the stapled packaging with everything else. This is not on during a pandemic! I am so grossed out and nauseous and my food went into the bin after the hairy business. What the heck happened tonight??

Decent family orientated place to go for a decent steak or other meals. The main atraction in my opinion is the play areas at a spur. Its whole existance in my opinion is the ability to go out, have a good time, while your kids enjoy themselves, and them actually wanting to be there with you in the first place. The play area is much smaller than those with outside play areas, however it is super efficient in entertaining kids of all ages with various games and activities. My 6 year old only comes to the table to slurp down a milkshake so he can rush back to the play area! 5 stars!

Quite disappointed with the size of the cappuccino. It was barely a sip of coffee in that cup. It took me 3minutes to drink and by the last sip it was cold. For the price of it, it was definitely not worth it. Ordered an Americano after that and same story. Did enjoy the waffle though, thats the only reason I rated it 2 stars.

Breakfast is good! Lots of Covid measures in place tp create a safe and healthy environment.

The service here really doesnt exist. The manager was nowhere to be seen. When I got my Spur burger (after waiting for 30 min) there was a random chicken bone in between my onion rings. Wont recommend this branch.

Exactly what you would expect which makes me happy! Miss buying the salad dressing/ pink sauce in stores though!

Our waitress was out-of-this-world ‼️She was ALL-DRESSED-UP-WITH-HER-MEXICAN-HAT-for-THURSDAY... THEIR MEXICAN-DAY‼️ It looked great ... black-with-red-trim‼️😍😁🤭 She was timely with our order; she delivered-exactly what we ordered‼️No Greek olives on my avocado-greens-salad, and his hamburger was perfect per himself. Onion-rings and chips (FRENCH FRIES in AMERICA) served with dipping sauce. My WATER with a-slice-of-lemon was PLENTIFUL and his orange Fanta drink was just RIGHT ‼️Meanwhile, during our dinner, we heard a group of 10-12 people celebrating a BIRTHDAY PARTY; the music was FUN ‼️😄 LAUGHTER ‼️ SMILES ‼️ HAPPINESS ‼️ GOOD TIMES ALWAYS ‼️♥️🇿🇦‼️ Itwas DELIGHTFUL to be there with the CELEBRATION going on ... DUE TO THE FESTIVITIES, we decided it was a 🌃 for ice cream.He ordered a CARMEL-CORN-MILK-SHAKE and said:THIS is GOOD ‼️ HERE: TASTE some of this carmel-corn-with-whipped-cream... Service was speedy as the restaurant were quite empty. Unfortunately it was tangible that the waiter rather wanted to be somewhere else.Food was good. But we had to keep ons asking for other needed items. Kids order ribs, ask for wetwipes. No creativity on assisting in making it a memorable occasion.The table and chairs felt tangy and in a sense not so clean. The knives and forks a bit questionable in terms of cleanness and hygienic.Kids play area well cared for, hopefully it is clean, but again in and out without focusing on hygiene or cleanness.

Usually great but tonight disappointing. Service was not up to scratch and when a mistake was made there was an excuse and an attitude. Not a pleasant night. Manager was not in sight after 19:30.

The food was excellent, the service also. We were seated quickly and near the great play area. This Spur puts effort into making their meals tasty.

We have been here several times already. Quality of food and service is consistent.

Great place to be at especially after a long day of shopping. I came in with my partner it was busy but our waitress made sure we had everything we need. She is super friendly and available. Big ups to Thandi for her great service. She has gained customers. I will definately visit Spur again

The service we got yesterday compared to last week was disappointing. the lady brought the cutlery without putting them on the side plate. we had to ask for wet wipes. our table was not provided with a bottle of sanitizer.what shocked me is when they where singing for her my daughter it was her birthday, she took the takeaway ice-cream in the polystyrene cup and she put the fireworks. why not bring a proper bowl with the firework and singing. seems like it is becoming an obligation for the staff to singing for our children on their birthdays. i should look into alternative restaurants which provide better service. ive had great service from woodlands, but yesterday was just disappointing.

I go there because of the breakfast which is well prepared and well priced. I also visit that specific branch because of waitress Nthabiseng, whose service is very professional and she goes the extra mile every time.

It remains one of the best Spurs in South AFrica there is always someone to make you feel welcome and the service is always first class

Its a bad time for restaurants during Covid. These guys are trying their best though. Sadly its become too expensive to eat out at Spur and I get why. Its just sad.Since my last visit, the decor had also been greatly improved.

The Monday burger special was very fresh and tasty. The waiter that served us was extremely friendly. The restaurant is practicing covid19 protocols, they have handsantizer on all tables.
