Great service, atmosphere, and food. I ordered the half size Ice Cream and Bar One sauce for dessert expecting a small portion, but instead got much more than I anticipated. It really exceeded my expectation and we had a good laugh with the waiter when I asked her if shes sure this is the Half size. Will definitely visit again.

Very good food. My stay in South Africa has been amazing with the gourmet but this place was very nice. The atmosphere in an open shopping plaza made it too hard to resist sitting outside and enjoying the area. The chicken wings were exquisite, slightly small but thats probably due to my being used to American non natural chickens. Everything around here has calamari but I really liked spurs... It wasnt just legs, nice strips of the calamari and their house dipping sauces make me want more.

Really not happy the way they operate their kids play area when its busy. Who will pay for my childs injuries when a highschool kid runs over him, all this while child minder is standing in the corner.

Great place to meet Friends, and have a good meal. Staff are very friendly and deliver good service. Secure and spacious facility for kids to play.

Service, meals and atmosphere were great. The portions were actually surprisingly large. Hadnt been to a SPUR since our local one closed down (really sad).

Restaurant was quite busy for a Tuesday, yet we never waited long for service, drinks or meals. Big thumbs up to our waiter Able and the whole team for keeping the vibe high. See you all again soon

Located at Castle Gate in the prime area of Pretoria of Waterkloof Ridge, Coyote Spur has a high service standard which is appreciated by many customers. There is lots of sitting space to eat with family and or friends. It is well staffed. Their food is high standard and so is their service. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Parking space is in abundance and accessible.

A newer branch, but exactly what you would expect from spur. My family and I enjoy our weekend spur breakfasts immensely. The management And staff at the castle gate spur is attentive, friendly and always puts the customer first. We have anointed this branch as our current favourite as they have a modern look, great play area and cameras in the play areas for parents to see from their tables what the kids are up to. Definitely worth a visit in my humble opinion

Service was great! Didnt wait long in between services, all waiters were friendly, ou Waiter was extremely excellent, friendly and was quick when I accedently let my knife fall, to bring me another 1...Will go there again!

The manager Madeline, excellent. She is visible everywhere, reception, kitchen, floor and play area. She is very passionate about her work. Our waiter Edwin was excellent as well.

It was evident to me again how culture in a business, organisation or any unit is created from the top down. I couldn’t help but notice the energy of one of the managers who was on duty on Sunday morning. She would ‘play’ dance with the waiters as if they were going to bump into each other. The result was that all the staff were energetic and fully attentive to their tables.

Had an issue with the waiter taking half an hour to bring our coffee and still brought us the wrong order but the manager Relax quickly fixed it and handled it very well.

Would like to commend refreshingly friendly and efficient service from Shareen, who was not our table waitress, but dit not hesitate to clear plates/cups on her way past our table. Compliments also to our own waiter Edwin, and the floor manager on duty... you really understand what customer service is about!

I haven’t patronized a spur for years due to bad experiences in the past. Decided to try this branch at Castle Gate yesterday and what a pleasant surprise it was! Super-clean tables and seating areas. Sanitizer on all tables. Fresh, delicious food and good hygiene practices. Reminds me of the wonderful Spur restaurants of yesteryear, I hope the good standard of food and cleanliness will continue.

Food was good, but had to return food because the waiter got the order wrong - not a train smash. He was friendly and came past regularly to check if all is okay

New Spur. Average service. Went for breakfast and ran into fibre being installed with a lot of noise.

Been there 3 times - dissappointed twice. First time my steak was over cooked and had to send my wifes back to the grill. Third visit was chaos. My wifes main coarse arrived while we were still having starters. Then 15 mintues later when my wife had almost finished her food my steak was served. Another 10 minutes later I called the waiter to ask where my daughters dinner was. He said its coming right away only to return to confirm what her order was. Then when he at last brought her order he stlll got the buffalo wings wrong. She ordered it spicy and she got plain. Then a tall blond girl appeared and sorted the mess out. My daughter had her dinner while we had finished ours already.

Had an awesome steak yesterday evening. The manager ? (blond girl) asked us to move, as there was a booking, that wanted to sit together..... So we moved 2 tables...... She then said that our two drinks would be on the house, to make up for the inconvenience. This was really nice from her, seeing that having to move 2 tables really wasnt an inconvenience. We dont have kids but Coyote Spur will from now on be our goto place for steak... GREAT SPUR, GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, FRIENDLY STAFF
