This should be the standard of banking service everywhere. The service was absolutely amazing, I have never experienced service like this from a bank ever before. I changed to Standard bank from Absa being a loyal absa client for many years. The purpose of my visit there was not to move to them, but the level of customer service I got today made me change my mind. And thank you to the best consultant ever Joyce she went out of her way, friendly, professional very friendly was an absolute pleasure for us to be helped by you. THANK YOUABSOLUTELY GREAT SERVICEWELL DONE STANDARD BANK GEZINAKeep it up

After my card was taken by an ATM ,I called to stop the card and arrange a new one,I received a Message to say it was ready for collection at the Gezina Branch.I stood outside for about 15 min and then was allowed inside,I sat there for an hour or so, eventually i asked the receptionist why it took so long just to collect a card.She immediately made a plan and fetched my card only to find out they sent a credit card not a Cheque card .Back on the phone to the card division to sort it out and promise me they would deliver it free of charge to my work place (confirmed my work address) 2 days later i got a message to collect it in Menlyn about 35 KM from me.I don`t have the time to go to Menlyn and wait 2-3 hours for a card that they promised delivery.Disgruntled customerPeter Hills

Worst customer service. Wait times were very slow before. Even worce now that they deciced to remove enqieries. Basic banking now needs to be done at the home loan and business banking sides resulting in immence waiting times for basic services like collecting cards or closing accounts linking accounts etc

And not even ONCE did they inform me there was an issue and there might be incorrect charges on my account. NO, they wait up until you query it - Then admit they are aware of it. If this is the type of service you get, well it just aint worth it. NOT for the amount of service fees you have to pay.My advice. Check your account and close your account immediately. Find a bank with a sense of humanity to it and that isnt planning on stealing from their clients.15.04.2019 - 14.52 Still no feedback today or refund as promised by this supposed bank manager:
