Horrible experience. Just needed to collect a card. The branch layout is of such that there are no indication of where to do so. Eventually somebody asked for my Id and since went out to help a customer at the ATM. Surely it can not take 20 to 30 minutes just to collect a card all because Std Bank still expects you to collect it rather than deliver to you like all the other Banks.

Pathetic service and unhelpful staff. Typing this as I wait in the bank.Im just here to collect two cards - something other banks deliver to you. Was first told to wait outside because they are a little busy. I was graciously allowed inside after a while and have now been waiting for 45 minutes. There are still several people ahead in the queue. Two of them have been helped in the last half hour. The staff are excruciatingly slow.An old man came in and asked a question. They sent him to a branch that I know is closed, because I was sent to the exact same branch last week (which is why I had to come to this one). They just ignored me and sent the old man there anyway. Now he will have to come back another day. Or never have his problem solved. Who knows.There are also only two people who seem to be working with customers, despite there being about 10 staff members walking around in the bank. Im seriously considering going through the hassle of transferring my business to another bank.Lastly, as I come to the front of the row - good news! They only have one of the two cards. Ill have to come back and do this all over again.

The service and communication is really poor. The Qs are long. The staff doesnt even know how to do a simple card collection. Horrible bank and a horrible experience letting your clients stand outside for a long time without know when you will be helped!! Will not recommend ever!

Service far below standard. Waiting 2 hours to collect visa card. After confirming that I will be able to do on line purchases I left the bank with the assurance that my VISA Card is fully operational only to find that with my first attempted purchase with Checkers that my telephone number is not linked to my card. So noo n line purchase at all. This is frustrating and I am definitely going to close my account.

The worst service I have ever experienced at any bank! Dont waste your time coming to this branch, most unfriendly and impersonal service ever!I was told after an hour my new OTP number will be changed! Still not changed 4 hours later!!!!!@

I have been with Standard Bank for about 5-years now. Seems as if the service is getting worse each year. Looks like the branches are competing to see who can provide the worst service. The the majority (not all) of the employees are incompetent and unwilling to help.Calling the standard bank call centers are even worse. The line is bad/unclear and the consultants cant resolve simple issues. They just keep transferring you back and forth. So much for digital banking.A one star rating is too much for this level of service.Just in case some Standard Bank CEO or director is reading this: people talk, and your bank is doing very poorly in terms of service quality. That word will eventually spread to a large portion of the population... Personally I would not recommend standard bank to anyone.

My dads card was swalled on the 1st April and my dad reported it within 30 minutes at the branch. A new card was issued the same day however over the Easter weekend just over R100 000 has been transferred from his account. It has taken almost two months now and they still busy with the investigation. Beware of this branch and the manager.

Arrived at 9:10 today to collect my new card. Told to wait in a queue. By 9:40, the queue had not even moved forward by one person. At this point I left, as I needed to get to work. In this day and age, there surely has to be a better card collection mechanism.

Service is pathetic. Clients are qued, guided into bank, then chased out again. Security threats clients like school children, adjusting the que. Bank opened late, a parent a system problem Counters are empty, wanting to deposit cash, no staff at specific client counter.Service tellers are all closed. Kept indicating 10 minutes, however my mom, a pensioner of 69 have been standing in que to enter for two hours. Absolutely shocking! Finally I approach Mothapele, who indicated one can not deposit cahs! Could no one just do a quick assessment of the que banking requirements, and all this frustration would have been avoided!

This is the 2nd time I come here and this time its even worse!!!! Yoh thixo wami. TERRIBLE service I tell u. I waited over an hour just to collect my credit card hehe. IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE THEM A ZERO STAR !!!!

I was notified that my bank card has arrived and I must collect it at the Woodlands Service Centre Branch. What a disappointment with their service! Only 2 consultants available. I have been waiting for 48 minutes now and there are still 2 customers ahead of me!

Probably one of the worst branches to visit. Average waiting time of 1hour+ as there is always 2 people working while the rest are on lunch or somewhere else not doing their job. Just got an account I already want to cancel

Disgusting service received in Branch from Tlotlo Segeri. Couldnt be bothered to assist me and referred me to a different branch, yet that branch said she could and should have assisted me. The same with regards to a Credit card query I had. She told me to call the Card Division, which I did and they told me to go to the branch to sort it out! To their horror I said I am calling from in the Branch! Card division asked to speak to Tlotlo Segeri and gave her a mouthful. No management was on duty and I have been calling all day trying to get hold of a manager yet no one answers the phone, not on the direct line, nor via the call centre.

Wrong office hours on google search as well as wrong phone number on google search supplied. Not to mention the POOR communication within the bank. This the reason why i am going to change from bank, also high banking fees and no consideration for customers that has been with the bank for a long period of time !! PATHETIC for standard bank !! SHAME on you !!

The worst branch Ive ever been to with clueless and rude staff.😡😡😡In my banking history Woodlands has the most useless and arrogant staff. Their attitude is detrimental to Standard Bank as a brand.They treat clients like they are doing them a favour.

Pathetic service!! Cant access my money because of withdrawal rules. Why cant I access my own hard earned money? Just another reason to switch to another bank... Your staff are unfriendly, unmotivated and everything they do seems like too much effort. Even management doesnt care? Really?!

Leroy Smith at the help desk is extremely rude and unprofessional, knows nothing about service delivery and how to treat the customers. Definitely not the appropriate person to be working in a bank, let alone the HELLO DESK. He gives your branch a terrible reputation. The service is overall pathetic.
