The place is nice problem is there is no communication yesterday at jembe we bought alcohol at 20h00 after 10 minutes the anuonse that the place will be closed at 20h30 when we go out with our alcohol security guards didnt allow us to go out with our drinks. At the bar they should tell us .

The atmosphere is always relaxing. Harvest Grill restaurant here is my favorite place to relax after a long day and reconnect or work nicely on your computer without much noise or distractions. The food is amazing too

The place is beautiful but as for the casino I dont recommend it cause those machines are just taking money as for a day out and moment of peace its a place to go.

Went to the Casino for fun. Not to many people there. Most people playing had multiple machines. Which made it hard to play. Still we enjoyed ourselves.

Security in terms of covid -19 compliance is extremely good on your side,however the some Panthers are not disciplined and do not respect others space while playing .There is still a challenge of panthers staying behind persons playing,surely this makes us uncomfortably. Nice little piece of entertainment amongst the bustling city of Polokwane. Kinda has a Emperors vibe to it, which I like, just on a smaller scale! Worth a visit if you staying the night and looking for something to do!

Loved the morrocan theme in and around the hotel. Service was great with friendly staff. Just too bad the food court was closed and there was not much options for vegetarian meals. Other than that is was a great getaway for some much neded R&R

Regulars all have 3-4 cards occupying several machines at once for the lucky draw purposes.Security not willing to manage the situation.No restaurants available besides the Harvest grill and the service and food are equally bad.Hotel breakfast are very poor and several of the rooms aircons arent working.Spa facilities at the hotel are also never available.I travel often and all around the country and this was the worst Ive experienced thus far.Very helpful and friendly staff at the hotel reception though.

I enjoy spending time as Meropa but the only frustrating aspect is that players seems to book the machines meaning they put cards in the machines and then leave without loaading funds onto the machine staying away for hours at a time. The way I see this is that Meropa is losing money on machines that other wise would have been used. I am not the only person finding this a problem a few players complaind about the same issue.

Hate losing money always crowded and need to wait so long to play the good machines with nice games

I had to attend an early me funeral in town.Due to my age I thought I should overnight at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World.Under normal circumstances I would have opted for amy of the other Bed and Breakfast Accomodations in and around town.Having stayed at Meropa more than twenty times in the past two years and knowing what they had to offer at half their normal price,this was the obvious place to go to.They have free Wi Fi for guests and the place is quite except last night when i had two Venda speaking guys who were having a loud conversation i could literally hear all they were saying.I know i shouldnt be eating Buffalo Wings for obvious reasons ,it is impossible to ignore the Wings and Potato Chips of Meropa,the taste is just out of this world. If the SASSA beneficiaries are jamming the ATMs in town please consider using the ones at Meropa.Now a then my friends make it big on the Slot Machines then the hit me with a thousand or two.The last thing i must commend this place for is vehicle safety,evey 20 minutes or so a Security Officer takes a stroll amongst the vehicle to see if there isnt anything dodgy going on.

Usually I would give this hotel 5 stars but for the last 2 weekends I have visited it and both times I stayed in the same room, Room 108 and for both the weekends the same spider webs are sitting in the same place, housekeeping is Not what it should be!!!! I stayed in this same room in December 2019 aswell and found an empty condom wrapper under the bed!! Seriously Sun International for the amount We pay to stay in this hotel I expect only the best not half of the best! 😠😠🤔

A very beautiful, attractive buildings, the interior is heaven, clean and quick service. Overnight accommodation I a reasonable amount one can afford. Just visit and enjoy yourself.

One of the worst service (help) I have ever been too! My card got stuck in a machine and I ask one of the casino workers to please assist. I asked atleast 6 workers passing me and all of them said they will call someone to come help me. 10 minutes passed and my friend had to searched and beg someone to come help. The lady took 5 to walk to me where I was waiting. Dragging her feet. Talking to other workers while taking her time. Ones she got my card out I went to the next slot machine and my card was block thanks to the lady who got my card out. I went to go track her down and she was getting agitated for no reason because of her mess up.. The workers at this casino looks like they are dying or something. Really pathetic. I can’t believe a main casino is so unprofessional and pathetic!!😡😡😡

Yes, I have been to this place several times. I have been there both on a personal basis and on business. Meropa is located about 4kms from the City of Polokwane.The venue is divided into an entertainment area for Adults, entertainment area for kids, a restaurant, bar, conference facilities, a Hotel and a lodge.The venue is friendly for people with disabilities and can be easily accessible from either the N1 highway or or R101. Meropa Casino and Entertainment World is less +-15 kms from Polokwane international Airport.My personal experience? Uhmm, yes, the conference facilities where convenient with all the amenities that are needed to run a meeting or a conference. The working personnel were friendly and very helpful and the security personnel were also strict when it come to enforcing hotel rules for the safety of the visitors. They have a main control gate at the entrance, then a body search counter, followed by roaming guards. I felt free and secure inside the premises and we never experienced any major hiccups during business events.I also have been there with family and with friends. The experience was no different, the venue has always been welcoming for me. The only hiccup was on the restaurant side. They were too slow to process the orders, it seems as if it is a norm as it happened more than twice that my orders took long to be processed. I take it that it was because there were many people at the restaurant all the times that I visited. And look, when you are in a place like meropa, you are in most of the time not in a rush to go to anywhere and there food is good. So, this wont affect my scoring.The Adults will be entertained at Jembe, where they normally have live performances as well as the Casino.Kids have their own entertainment area with special kiddies games.I therefore give them a 5 based on my on-site experience.

It was fun I was there just for entertainment. I didnt spend the night at the hotel so I wont comment about that. Jembe was real fun the dancing was good a little bit of gambling yielding cash and the games were real fun meant for children but entertaining
