Ate here for the first time last night. Bizarre menu. Pizza with base of bread dough was uncooked and still raw but black from the pizza oven. Lamb was flavourless as was the whole meal. Not what i expected and disappointed.

Chef Scott Hendrie has devised a fantastic menu. The food was excellent and very beautifully presented. House wine and champagne were also excellent and good value for money. The Polo Club restaurant also has a pleasant ambience.

Had sushi on a Thursday and it was really good, service was good as well.Last time had a brunch there and it was also pretty good. Service was OK.A decent spot.

Tasty food at a reasonable price with spectacular views. Pity we missed the polo match. I’ll definitely revisit this hidden gem.

The Polo Club is comfortably stylish.I feel like im at Richard Bransons home, getting a snack in one of his lounge areas from his personal chef... but he is my uncle and we cool so Im comfortable enough to come to dinner dressed as Id likeI overheard a foreigner say that. He was right. Sitting at the outside area overlooking the Polo field, french soft music playing, horses groomed in view at the barns and the majestic franschhoek mountains in the backdrop. Its quite a site. The staff are friendly, competent and non intrusive. The only realisation is when a bill comes at the end of the meal. Its affordable. Release grateful sigh.Suggestions:If youre not into meat, try the caprese salad, Cape Malay curry and the American brownie cheesecake. To drink: either the RN red wine or iced Brazillian hazelnut coffee (my favourite)

Great polo field and mountain views. Short but effective menu. Pleasant staff. Not too many tables. Main drawback is the limited trading hours so plan ahead if you do not want to have to drive to nearby Paarl to get something to eat.

Set at the Polo Club in Accra. It is near the airport. I have been going to this restaurant for years now. The ambiance is great, the food is really good and the staff are well trained. You will need to book as it is very popular.

This is one of the best in Paarl if not the best....love the food, the atmosphere, the views,the service. Well done to Polo Club!!

Never sure when they are open or closed. It appears that the ownership has changed a couple of times impacting the consistency of the menu. The food in general is good and the portions reasonable.

Recently visited south Africa and dined at the polo club.Staff excellent, courteous, and polite. Food excellent.Would recommend the club to all my friends.

This is a polo club venue in a large security complex. Mostly used for functions although a something to eat can be done and very up market. Stunning venue

Located in the Vel de Vie Polo Estate, it has an amazing view of the mountains surrounding the area. Elegantly decorated interiors of the club house show off the long standing traditions of the sport of polo cross. So lovely, quiet and peaceful, perfect place to have a Sunday brunch with the family and be totaly enthrawled by the horses galloping past at lightening speeds.Loved spending my Sunday there!

This place is incredible, even if you dont follow polo. The level of service and the staffs professionalism makes for a great experience.

The food looked lovely but it didnt taste so nice

We have been to Val de Vie Polo club for numerous meals. All are absolutely delicious and served by very friendly and competent staff. My only complaint is a slow turn-around time to enter through security at the beginning of the estate and for the food itself - so not a place to go if youre in a hurry. Would definitely recommend the kingklip for dinner and eggs benedict for breakfast!
