I have to down grade unfortunately, my food came out about 10 minutes before my husbands food came out. I know its a bit challenging now but when we were there a month earlier our food was servered at the same time.

Me and my wife had a terrible experience at this mug & bean.We went to Paarl mug&bean to get away and go do some important work for my sunglass shop and we where hassled by can you believe the owner(not Manager) and by our waiter.We apparently had one of the best spots and the numbers of customers needed to flow much quicker then with us there.Now please know that we also own a Coffee Shop and we know all the numbers if seating and which tables are the favorites and all that. But no one, and I repeat NO ONE likes to feel like just another number that is just suppose to come in and not work and pay and get out. Not Nice guys. Will not be seeing this numbers again

So I went to Mugg & Bean in the Paarl mall, my goodness, the owner, Tessa Roos is a fantastic person, she is so friendly and helpful. The food is phenomenal, the service is brilliant, I would recommend Mugg & Bean in Paarl mall for the beat breakfast and service🤗

My partner and I had a lovely meal each and we had nice coffee, tea and the watermelon fizzy drink ( very nice). Our waiter was not very friendly, but she did a great job! There were other staff members talking about inappropriate things infront of us, but i can het over that. The thing that bothers me most is the fact that mugg & bean still sells plastic straws!! They changed the wraping paper of their sweets to paper, but they still have plastic straws! Cmon guys, this is not new news!

Today we had the best scones and coffee. We had to wait a while but then got fresh coffee with the scones. Service with a smile. If you are in a hurry let the waiter know. Otherwise you will sit a while longer.

Very organised and clean to go for breakfast early mornings, especially if you have to travel long trips and need a quick refreshment. Very friendly staff, lively atmosphere and well prepared food. Amazing Serious Cappuccinos.

Fresh food. Good service. The portion sizes are Not the same as the other Mugg & Bean branches. They were also not willing to mix up a set meal to suit my dietary preferences. The other branches are much more accommodating. Rather disappointing.

Firstly, when we arrived,we ordered sparkling water asked for it to served first before we got the food, we were then told 20 minutes that they didnt have sparkling water, then when the food arrived, I didnt get my food everyone on the table got their food and mine just didnt come, no explanation. I called the manager to explain the situation, and she was very professional and sorry about the whole thing. She offered coffee on the house.

Just dont go hungry... Thr food takes a while but worth the wait...

Menu is divine. Large portions. Great breakfast and several delicious coffee options. Cheese steak sandwich my favorite lunch option and I highly recommend.

Mug and Beans are always good. This one is great but not as good as many others. The staff seem a little overworked and the kitchen is very slow. Food was good and the service was friendly

Had a bit of a wait to be severed. When I asked a waitress to take my order she didnt know what a soft fried egg was. Got the feeling she didnt want to serve me.

Nice food, free wifi. Just make sure you not in a rush. Took over 10min from getting bill till we paid, we ended up finding cash, because no one came to let us pay with a card. Even when I waved my card in the air people looked, but no one came.

Busy coffee shop in the Paarl Mall. As a take away I had one of their delicious muffins with pecan nuts and dates. The cappucino was okay. Ive had better ones.

As with most Mugg and beans, food is good. Service was good enough. Nothing earth shattering. Always a difficult thing to review a franchise as they are pretty well all the same.

The food is good but they are extremely busy so factor in quite a lot of waiting time. Waiters are territorial and will look at you funny if you ask them for something and theyre not allocated to your table.

The only good thing about the experience was the coffee. Apart from that we were extremely disappointed. Ordered a vegan meal and received it with feta. When I spoke to the manager she called me skinny and asked “what does a vegan eat anyway?!” . When we finally received our food back it was really average. We’ve tried going back but every time is a disappointment.

Service has improved lately. I still cant stand it that they start packing up chairs etc half an hour before they close.

Super slow service, they dont really care about customer service at all, when we eventually got out coffee 2 out of the 3 mugs were dirty and the coffees were all cold. the food was presented well but again by the time it got to the table it was not even luke warm The waiter had an attitude when we asked how long it will still take, terrible experience. i doubt they will see me again. total waiting time to be served at the entrance ... we didnt we seated ourselves and informed the waiter that we would like to order. coffee took a good 45min and the food as long and the food and coffee orders were given in at the same time. the shop was not busy as there were 17 clients and about the same amount of staff on the floor.

Sad to say i wouldnt be going back. Mug & bean is a great franchise but this store wont see me again. My big ben had less sauce than i have ever received, without any sauce the food was dry, and then they charded R18 for n small bowl of sauce.My frulata (fruit milkshake) was awesome well done.
