Great experience! The restaurant is beautifull situated- overlooking the pond with trees. The food was so good.We ordered the gourmet burger. It was huge, but the flavours complimented each other really well. The patty was thick and perfectly prepared. We also had the steak and kidney pie. It was lovely! Portions were generous and the dish was full of flavour! Lastly, the battered hake was also very nice. The lemon sauce compliments it very well. The wine was great value for money! Good wine, even better price.

We didnt do any wine tasting, although I believe thier wines to be very good. We dropped in for breakfast and coffee on the way to the airport. Ridgebacks has a very pleasant atmosphere and an extensive menu. Thier food is a good.... Unfortunately, they close at 17:00, so we didnt get to test the evening vibe.Well worth a relaxing visit!

The deck restaurant has very nice scenery and is great for a Sunday lunch. The service wasnt really great. Our guy forgot our drinks a few times and we also had to get up and go inside to order stuff ourselves.I order the pork belly which was very good, but still left an empty spot in my tummy. I feel that it just wasnt enough food for the amount of money that I had to pay for it.My wife had a Gourmet burger which was very good, I had to take a few bites from her to supplement my meal.

We support our local business and visited Ridgeback for a cuppachino and scones today 10Nov2019.We paid an extraordinary R30 for a cuppachino which was sub sub standard (the milk at boiling temperature and only with a distant taste of coffee) The scones we shared (and if home made , it missed the target) For this we paid R58 for three small scones Butte r and jam was served in prepacked plastic tubs. The grated cheese was hard and not at all pleasing on the eye.I hope this note helps you to improve.

We had a wine tasting and lunch afterwards. Every wine we tasted was amazing. The SGMV and Shiraz are among my favorite wines. The SGMV probably is my favourite wine. The food was pretty good. My girlfriend had pork belly that was absolutely stunning. My creamy chicken breast was average. The only downside with the wine is the price. Theyve started getting pricey. A year ago a bottle of SGMV would set you back R80, now its R105.

Small wine estate with a guesthouse and a small pond where you can enjoy a delicious meal. Very good wine! As the name of the wine says, there are also Rhodesian Ridgebacks present. For us it was twice top. Recommended for those who do not want to end all major wine domains.
