Beautiful location in natural surroundings but the estate itself is in need of urgent TLC.Walkway to the rooms are Old and warn out. Rooms are old and not clean. Images on the actual website is very misleading and I would suggest that the new owners should consider updating the property.On the bright side - Staff were friendly and did their best to make us feel comfortable despite the conditions of the property. It was great to see a few animals on the Estate, which created a rustic farm feel.

I photographed a Wedding at Le Bac yesterday afternoon and the venue is beautiful. The receptionist is extremely friendly. The staff are so helpful and always smiling. The outdoor areas are neat and picturesque.

Le Bac is a lovely place to visit! They have a really amazing burger and Pizza restaurant at the bottom and the open grass areas and vineyards make it a beautiful setting!Fridays they offer an all you can eat pizza evening! Ill definitely be making a visit there!

My experience of Le Bac Estates was limited as it was just a stop over. The staff were friendly and did their best to make me feel welcomed. The facilities were neat clean and well kept.

I have better access to amenities while im camping. We were there with a Wedding party so the group of us booked out most of their rooms. The showers had what seemed like shut off valves so it only allowed one person to actually have hot water. No kettles in the room, even though the coffee was provided. We all pre-booked breakfast for the next day, so they knew we were coming, however there was not enough food, and even after we waited for them to make more, they again ran out and then told us they did not have anymore food to make, so a bunch of us went with out breakfast. The sweet, uncooked eggs were the best!!!

The service was good. A few short commings in essential areas like which direction hot and cold water are and the wash hand basin plugs not holding water thus making it difficult to conserve water in a area still under water restrictions.

What a lovely day... Food was out of this world very nice and the staff was excellent. If u wondering where to go for nice sunday lunch... Le Bac is the place to be

The service was slow - which was surprising as we were the only clients. Waited for about half an hour for our coffee and when it arrived it was luke warm. Their burgers are good, but is it worth the wait?

Very small basic rooms. Estate needs some tlc. Breakfast was good though.

Christmas lunch buffet. Quantity good, quality bad. Over cooked and cold - that was the hot meals. Table service bad, gratuity automatically included @ 10% for table of 4, not good. Never again.

My stay was very pleasant at Le Bac, though I visited for work, the service was exceptional and the location is beautiful! And also, the food was AMAZING!

The 80s called, it wants its camping TV back :). There was a walkway between us and another room, we could still hear the people in that room. There is what I would assume is farm workers residence a few meters away. We could hear them clearly, until early hours of the morning. TLC necessary for the accommodation. The gardens are well kept and pleasent to look at. The Pool was nice and refreshing.

This place was truly lovely, like some oasis on the outskirts of paarl with a marvelous eating area, well cut lawns and a top-notch lodge. Thoroughly surprised by it and would recommend it to any body who is willing.

Used too be a very nice place to have drinks. My last two encounters was not a pleasant experience. Waiters were unfriendly and not experienced.

We had a function there, but a total disgrace! Although the food was edible, everything on the table was dirty. When we got up for the desserts the chinese lady was busy wiping the plates with her bare hand. Got to the dessert table we where told that what we initially paid for was not available. No-one was attending to the food aka ensuring that flies stay away, needless to say each and every cupcake had a fly on!! New chinese owners sure know how to chase clients away.Bathrooms - both unisex , for a function with mainly males? You can only imagine what it looked like at the end of the day.

Good for business meetings and functions and normal eat out. Still have to try the pizzas!

The new restaurant set up is really cool and great for kids to play and for the men to watch the game while everyone is in a nice relaxed environment. The food was delicious... once we got it. It took over an hour to be served lunch. The waitress was totally clueless and didnt even know what was on the menu. My friend asked what sauces are available because her dish said it came with a sauce of her choice so the waitress said she would find out but she never came back and my friend had to ask after her food came to bring a sauce which only came another 10 minutes later. I understand it is under new management and they just opened this restaurant but a bit more training is definitely needed and some management on the floor checking on guests would make 100% of an improvement. We felt so neglected.

Very nice you have to try the pizzas though thin base amazing awesome vibes nice to see some locals hang out as well five star feel only issue was i guess a supervisor that didnt like kids being kids and had some sny remark but everyone ignored his attitude.

Buffet lunch in the lapa was utterly bad! Really poor service for staff as well. Food not properly cooked. Never seeing me again. For the price it is really not worth it. No class at all. I recieved an already opened beer without a glass as if Im sitting in a pub. Even in a pub you receive a closed bottle. Beware they already include 10% gratuity in your bill when you recieve it, even if you are only two people. After service from manager utterly unprofessional! Downplayed all my complaints and wrong billing

The food looked great. Although the pulled pork pizza made me puke not because of taste but the pork might have been off. The kids entertainment is run down and just just hanging together. The amount of flies is off putting and you spend half the time swatting flies. Compared to the other places in the area this was not close standards.

Food is OK nothing great. Whoever chooses to go to the restaurant be aware that all items are excluding VAT. So the prices you see aint the prices you pay.
