Unbelievable Guesthouse with two super friendly hosts that made our stay one of the best experiences we ever had so far in Southafrica. And dont miss the dinner there, its an absolute treat. Highly recommended.

The hostess are so nice and generous which gives one the feeling of being welcome and wanted.The food (breakfast and dinner ) was excellent and presentation of it not less than perfect.We stayed in room no. 3 which was very comfortable and spacious.

We only had a one-night stay but it was one of the most memorable of our 2 week trip to South Africa. We felt at home from the moment we were welcomed by the great hosts. The rooms are very large and comfortable, but the time we spent downstairs felt like visiting good friends. We had interesting discussions, a lot of laughs and even sang together. And the food was absolutely amazing! It was chilly and windy outside when we visited, so we spent the evening warm and cozy indoors, but when the weather is right it must be great as well having diner outside, next to the pool and the outdoor bar. And as could be expected, after a good nights sleep, we enjoyed a great breakfast before moving on to our next stop.We cannot recommend this place highly enough!!

You cant beat the hospitality and kindness of the hosts of this guesthouse. You feel very welcome here, every detail were choosen with care by Fabian & Stephen. A special recommendation for the self-baked bread and the 3 course diner, dont miss it!

I stayed in Pictures last July and had a wonderful time there. For sure it was the best guesthouse we experienced during our one-month trip in South Africa. The management is simply excellent. Stephan and Fabiano are superstars ! They know exactly what they do, the rooms are comfy and well decorated, the breakfast is amazing (homemade bread and croissant) and the dinner is probably the best food you can find in Oudtshoorn. If you are a foodie and look for an attentive service, go to Pictures.

The place to stay in South Africa. What a warm welcome. Stephen and Fabian are very professional and will make your stay unforgettable. The breakfast is wonderful with croissants and homemade bread. A superb egg menu! The evening is amazing. Our best table in South Africa and Oidtshoorn with a wonderful selection of wines. Fabian and Stphen knows what is a five star service.

It was really lovely to stay with Stephan und Fabian. This very nice guest house is perfect for a relaxing visit of Oudtshoorn and definitely a good recommendation.

It is not for nothing that the Pictures Guest House is one of the best B & Bs worldwide! The service is outstanding and here too it means feel at home! No wishes remain open. Fabian and Stephan have a close relationship with their guests. Nothing is missing here! The breakfast and dinner is outstanding and you are spoiled.

I would even give 8 stars. Its such a great B & B with very warm hosts and a great crew. Great house, room, garden ...... only the mattresses were too firm. But is a matter of feeling. The offered massage is worthwhile. Breakfast and dinner nicely prepared and tastefully. Again and again, best regards😚

What a warm welcome!Very nice room, very clean, lots of space!Swimming pool and surrounding space to relax, terrace for breakfast in the summer.We could also dine there and this was superior, a four course menu to say the least!Breakfast is also very well taken care of, all questions or wishes are taken care of.Fabian and Stephen will pamper you!

A wonderful place to relax and take good care of Oudtshoorn and its surroundings. Stephane and Fabian are caring hosts who are also happy to provide tips for trips and restaurants. Occasionally there are dinners with them, and the completely homemade breakfast - yes, even the bread! - alone is a poem! Unfortunately we were only there for one night, but we will be back!

Excellent stay in this Guest House, the owners are adorable and available without forgetting their employees, always cordial. The establishment is a real paradise, the rooms are luxurious and spacious, spotlessly clean, the frenchy touch of breakfast with crispy croissants amazed me !! The dinner is just as prepared with love and know-how.I wish I had stayed longer. An excuxe to return in a few years without doubt, bewitched by this wonderful country that is South Africa.
