Great spot and probably the best restaurant in town. Loved the turmeric smoothie. Amazing burger on eggplant. Good gluten free options. Lovely little store to buy takeaway food. Small playground for the kids. The servers all seemed a bit rushed and stressed, otherwise a great experience!Edited to add: we stopped in for our second visit three months later and loved it even more this time around. They’ve added a couple of new menu items and the outdoor seating with a view of the ocean is just wonderful. Maggie the waitress remembered us and made us feel at home.A definite stop on any garden route itinerary.

The food was unusual and that made it enjoyable. The service was lovely. Only recommendation would be that the Harissa Tofu Vegan meal had less of the same taste on such a large meal. It tasted like turmeric on top of turmeric, as opposed to Harissa. Tasted more Indian than Moroccan. Location and View were lovely; the setup of the restaurant was exquisite. The options showed that it was a new niche Cafe with potential for growth.

The breakfast Aloush was wonderful!!Today, 24/09/2021 South Africa celebrates Heritage Day. The sampler platter was excellent!

The best breakfast and coffee ! Hands down the service was great ! Has a little play area for kiddies which is in the shade also. These guys go that extra mile with the menu. I would recommend to any one and hope to be back

Delious foods and great views

Love the decor! And the Cappuccinos and cupcakes were out of this world. We sat outside, in the lovely garden-patio area and were fully protected from a gushy wind. Service was great too. I highly recommend this delightful restaurant.

Lovely building and friendly staff. The menu is limited which probably ensures that each dish is perfect. We found the portions very generous and more than enough to share if youre not ravenous.I recommend the lemon tea and Moroccan chicken wrap.

Authentic restaurant with interesting menu serving quality food by friendly staff. Located in historic sandstone house. If weather permits the garden at the back is also a good place to sit. Definitely one of the better restaurants in Mossel Bay. Open for coffee and cake during the day.

Best place to eat in Mossel Bay. Beautifully restored old building in the centre of town with lots of character. Refreshingly different and vibrant menu.

Had the roasted stuffed eggplant last night, and it has to be the most delicious vegan meal I have ever ordered in a restaurant. We have had many breakfasts at Carola Anns too and it never disappoints. Always great service as well!

I honestly cannot recommend Carola Anns enough. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the owners and staff are wonderful people and their restaurant has a great atmosphere (especially their monthly Friday night dinners). Ive had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Carola Anns and everything has been delicious (the banana bread french toast is a favorite of mine). I have even found myself eating foods that are not my favorite as I am convinced Carola Anns can make anything taste good! My husband and I decided to host our intimate (28 ppl) wedding celebration dinner at Carola Anns restaurant and not only was it extremely affordable, but the three course meal still has people talking to this day. The passionfruit cake Corelie made was super delicious as well. It was honestly such a perfect night and everytime I find myself in Mossel Bay I am going to Carola Anns and when I am lucky enough to be there for a friday night dinner, I am definitely making reservations.

Lovely shop with two kind owners and an adorable baby. My favorite was the veggie breakfast. Tho it’s just veggie, they somehow manage to make it so flavorful and tasty.

Food was good, service was excellent. However at the end of the meal with a bill of R580, only to find out that the restaurant charged me R15 for asking for fresh chillies. They didn’t tell me there would be a charge for this, only added it to my bill. Annoying end to an otherwise good experience- if you ask for condiments, make sure to ask if there is a charge to them.

Quaint little place definitely worth a visit. The food selection is different from a standard menu but certainly a wide variety of choice. The ostrich strip sandwich i had was delicious and well plated! The smoothies looks amazing. The staff was very friendly!

Best restaurant so far in Mossel Bay. And the best in South Africa in my 3 weeks. Perfect service, stylish design with antique and wood in interior, interesting menu with near to perfect execution. And of course - wine.

Wonderful breakfast! We stayed in Mossel Bay two nights and went there every morning to enjoy the food, smoothies and coffee.

This is a very pleasant and cozy environment. the foods offered are delicious and fresh, but without long wait.I strongly recommend that anyone going to Mossel bay invest some time in this bistro.

The lockdown has clearly affected their Mojo at Carola Anns, weve been for breakfast, that was simple but refreshingly different. This time we made a reservation for friday night dinner, there was no need to book though..Friendly efficient staff, a masculine interior although they could have a rethink about the lighting..dozens of bright bulbs glaring over the interior.. far from intimate, anyone with eyes will have difficulty remaining here for an evening, which is ironic because i imagine they would welcome a few more bodies to enhance the atmosphere.. Dimmers required!Wine list was a little overpriced, starters were ok and the main appeared to be precooked and reheated which flies in the face of previous posters glowing reviews, what went wrong?

A lovely little place to enjoy organic food with an oriental twist. Try the mezze to share or go for the daily salad or the burger. The staff is super friendly and made us feel very welcome. A definitive must in Mossel Bay!

We forgot to take photos before we ate 😊 thats how innovative and flavour packed the menu is. Add to that the fantastic service (thanks Rick) and beautiful venue.

Carola Anns has no competition on the Garden route. Dont be fooled by the simple interior, they know what theyre doing when it comes to food! Absolutely delicious, mostly middle eastern inspired, but no overpowering tastes, just perfect and most importantly nourishing, healthy food. Both owners are very friendly and so easy going.The food could easily be served as part of a fine dinning experience if placed in a different setting. Although this cosy, super clean little restaurant makes incredible food accessible to everyone.

As a vegetarian, this was hands down the best option in Mossel Bay, while not exclusively vegetarian, they had plenty of very good vegetarian AND vegan options. The location, service, and price were all also very reasonable
