We popped in on our way back from the beachfront. The vibe is good and the gravel floor gives the place a unique feel and atmosphere. It probably gets hot there in the summer because it was a sunny winters day and it was hot inside. The drinks are very well priced compared to other places. The food was awesome. We ordered a bucket to share and that was more than enough for us. The only downside and the loss of a star, is the time it took for our order to arrive. We waited quite long when the place was not really packed. I liked the braai taste of the meat though.

Absolutely unique place. Friendly service and the best fish braai! A must visit when in Mosselbay. Looks like quite the party place too!

This is an amazing place, I like the creativity, design, they have used organic material to build the place. Just shows that all that is needed is great ideas. The place sells fresh sea food at very affordable prices. Alcoholic beverages are also sold in place. They have inhouse entertainment, hire artists to perform, the vibe is great while one is enjoying the freshly prepared sea food.

It is a great place to have a great time with friends or family. Its a place to party and also a place u can go with your family. Basically its a multi-purpose restaurant with great service and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend it to others

Excellent for seafood, I particularly enjoy the wood fire grilled Kabeljou. Over weekends you can also enjoy the live entertainment with your food. You can also purchase fresh fish from the restaurant, I particularly enjoyed the fresh Tuna and Salmon which are occasionally available!

Dont come here if you want good service. The place is super crowded, waiters are neverminded and impolite.Wanted the braaid fish but was told they dont have enough coals...then take the option off the board then. I settled for the hake instead and was pleased. The fish was really good. Had the mussels as well. Wow what a disappointment. It had a really weird taste and didnt sit well with me. Its not pretty or pleasant to visit. More of a get your food and leave type of place I feel- or get your food when they decide to come get your order. Gave the waitress a good tip regardless of the terrible service and she didnt even say thank you.Fish was good but doesnt make up for the bad service.

Great place for an awesome supper and a few beers. All in all just a leka place to get together and have a nice evening. Thanks to the waiters for the awesome service aswell!!

Waited almost 2 hours for 4 hamburgers and chips! Got served drinks once and waiter disappeared! Although food was nice the waitress and service caused us to never support this place again. Not even have the decency to apologize!

A great, relaxed place to hang out and grab something to eat. The setting is very informal, with wooden benches and numerous firepits. It has an old boat for youngsters to play on, while parents watch. It is open-air, or rather open wall so on chilli days make sure you take an extra jacket and try to snag a spot close to the firepit or to one of the furnaces.They have a nice selection of wines and I recommend you try the housewine. They also have a large selection of beers, ciders and shots and then of course your regular hot/cold drinks.Prices are average and compares to franchises like Spur, Panos, etc. The ambience though cannot be matched.Not too wheelchair friendly - there are no steps but the floor is small gravel stones and the tables wooden benches, so maybe call ahead and check with them first.We had the braaied dorado fish (shared a plate as their portions are big) woth chips amd veggies and it was very tasty. I recommend this place.

We have been scouting Mosselbay for fresh kingklip and we find the best of the best here. Price also good. We had a perfect braai at home

Was there the 30/10/2020 the hake &chips were fantastic,as if they just caught it that moment. Chips were the perfect home style, service,excellent. The price was spot on for quality and quantity

The atmosphere was great and lively. There was some live entertainment happening on the Sunday when we were there for lunch! The starters were big portions, which could almost qualify as mains, but lovely prepared and tasty! We shared a platter for 4 amongst the 5 of us and still couldnt finish it! All the food was excellently prepared. They also have great drinks specials.

A rustic, spacious venue with a difference. We had the special for the day. I had grilled hake ( large portion,) crisp fried chips and a healthy tossed salad.,A real pity that the toilets were not all that tidy.A very efficient and pleasant waiter.We couldnt stay to listen to the band as we had to head back home to PE.

Focus on fresh fish, but also have meat and pizzas. Food is tasty without frills. We enjoyed the hake and fries. Venue is rustic and not windtight. The host allows guests to smoke in the restaurant and that together with the large central open fireplace makes the venue smokey when busy which is not ideal to enjoy your meal.

Prices are perfect. Not expensive and quality of food is good. Service is also very good. Was there over a december period.

Very full local restaurant pub. GROSSLY overpriced. Definitely milking the holiday season. Although manager insists its their year round menu......i feel sorry for the locals at these prices... or more so the establishment as even locals and regulars are turning away due to exorbitant pricing of food.

Dont know whether the end of the festive season has taken its toll, but our service was just absolutely dreadful. Theres simply no excuse if your milkshakes arrive when they are starting to separate and even worse when you get the wrong flavor. Furthermore, if youre a restauranteur of any note, you would ensure that your staff are geared for peak times. The food was okay but the whole experience left us annoyed at eating here.

If you want fresh fish, reasonably priced this is the place. Food is basic, nothing exotic. Can be noisy as its a popular biker joint.

Food wasn’t great, service pretty average.Had the yellow tail and Sole.We made the yellow tail a few nights before at home and was really excited to try theirs.Was a bit disappointed hoping it would taste better than what we made at home.The sole came deep fried after we did order it grilled. Poor sole, why would one deep fry a sole.Would we go again?They do have great options of fresh fish 🎣 that that was caught.Rather go to the fish store and buy it and make it yourself at home.
