Best advise: GO hungry!! Best food and the portion size...Oh My Word! Friendly staff, you feel right at home. And will not kill your budget.

Now this was a surprise. Phoned in an order and when call ended I was in two minds if I was going to fetch my order. Very glad I did and so was the entire family. Wow great food, service and friendly staff. Looks tiny from the outside and when entering but once inside the dance just goes on and on. This is a must when in Mossel Bay or just passing through. WE will be back!!!!!

Ok this post is a few days old due to the long weekend...Long story...We were on holiday in Mosselbaai for the heritage long weekend, as a party of 10 we went to the harbor looking for a place to have lunch.The two venues we visited were too pricey or too formal for our group, we randomly asked a stranger along the road what they would recommend for our group, with out blinking she recommended Big Daddys, or spur(but now come on who travels and goes to spur)We arrived at the venue and were warmly greeted outside before we even entered the venue, got in and got introduced to our waiter, (sadly I cant remember her name to give her a positive review). She escorted us through the restaurant and gave great recommendations for tables for our group size. We sat down and boom everyone had a menu in front of us. After a brief period our waitron returned ready to take our orders, as it was braai day no one really wanted red meat as we were braaing later and we all choice either seafood or chicken for a light lunch. (here is where the story really begins).We all ordered one beverage and one meal, the waitron was kind enough to ask do we want our drinks with our food or before but we said before(we could always order more).Our order was rung up drinks were brought to the table and I wont lie less than 10min later our food started to arrive.The commen comments around are table was are these people serious with their portions Im talking about one meal was enough to feed three people.Quality of the food on point, and to out suprise we were even offered a portion of complimentary onion rings for our group (lets not say portion it was a huge bowl)Our waiter constantly checked up on us and even smiled with the weird request of extra lemon and some hot sauce.Now for the shocker, we couldnt finish our meals and asked for takeaway containers and the bill, the bill arrives... R820 I mean honestly for 10 people such great service and huge portions and Im saying food and drinks it came to R820 (basically R82 per person).If you read this far here are my recommendations,If you ever are in Mosselbaai looking for a place to eat go to Big Daddys, the locals rave about it and I will give my stamp of approval glady.TL:DR, Great venue, awesome staff, huge portions and great food

Amazing. A hidden gem in Mossel Bay! When visiting Mossel Bay and surrounding area be sure to pay a visit to Big Daddys! My recommendations will be the combos. Great value in those dishes. The portions are very good and the food is delectable. I highly recommend the ribs, they are definitely the best in town! Dont hesitate to eat pudding as well, you wont be disappointed. I highly recommend Big Daddys to any tourist and local residents! Their dishes will fit any budget without any compromise!

HOLY BURGER!!!!! Me and my dad was told by a frend we should check out Big Daddys Moerse daddy burger and there was 3 buns and it was huge AND MORE DELICIOUS!!!! CHECK IT OUT.Kammy was our istont on a other day.Very kind staff.Again recomend.

Was lovely and loved the food

Friendly service from real down to earth people. Had the Rib special - loved their chips. Ribs was very good, though served cooled down already. Will next time ask to have it on the barbecue for few minutes longer to create the desired crispness I love.

The steak that we ordered was not well prepared at all, tasted like firewood...there is an offensive message that is displayed next to the paypoint, swearing words...i was offended...
