Of the several wine farms I have been to, Reedvalley offers tastings and wine like any other. The food was good and the place had great views. However, the welcoming feeling and openness was lacking.

Stunning place to visit for amazing wines and something to eat. Beautiful venue. Attend a concert of SAs many well-known artists.

Wine, food and live music. Plenty of place to relax and enjoy music. Kids play area is beautifully placed and well equipped. Would love to be there again.

We had lunch here today and was blown away by their great food - we had a steak, a beef burger and calamari and fish and everything was just amazing, also had great service from all the waiters. I saw some of the other comments and yes the place is a bit rustic but this is what you want when you go looking for a place out of town, well done to the staff and chef , keep it up , we’ll be back on our nxt holiday

Awesome venue for music concerts and other stage and theatre based events. I was there during a heuwels fantasties (i think thats how its spelled) concert and it was legit. Enjoyed the venue and the vibes. Would recommend you visit

Single most TERRIBLE experience I have ever had a restaurant. When we complained about a plate of food that was sent back uneaten (wagyu steak with horrible sinew inside) a meal we were THREATENED with the police - after which we agreed to pay as to not make a scene. the staff members then proceeded to giggle and laugh and gossip about us in hearing distance. I have never been treated this way... in my entire life

What an incredible spot! We’ve been visiting Mosselbay for the past eight years and I regret not coming here sooner! What a lovely experience.Staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at ease all the time without being overbearing. Ask for Adriaan! He is such an awesome fellow.Beautiful restaurant interior. And sitting outside is a treat too! I can only pressure that if it weren’t for COVID-19 lockdown level 3, there would have been an epic vibe fitted out with live bands and market. The place is massive.And the nursery!!! 😱😱🌵Epic! So beautiful, and the plants! I’ve never seen such a variety of healthy plants.And compliments to the chef AND sous-chef! Food is absolutely incredible: cooked perfectly, and lovely presented. Try their calamari! Amazing! Well priced and decently portioned.Definitely one of my favorite spots in town!

Why must I buy pinotage from your farm shop for R130.00 a bottle when I can buy the same wine for R110.00 in town.And this is after your staff tell us your wines are not available wholesale, anywhere else, only from the farm.You wont be seeing me again, Ill buy in town where I dont get ripped of.Pity because you have a great venue and good wines.

We absolutely loved Reed Valley. The food was just absolutely delicious. We were greeted with this energetic welcome and bubbly young lady. We tried the amazing Gin on tap. Which was so yum. Careful as it tastes like coldrink. You soon can get plonked on that. We did the wine tasting and was so good. The vibe is fresh and energetic, this amazing family owned and run wine farm is really amazing. Will definitely refer our guests who stay at Amelias guest lodge to try it out. The Portuguese food was really fantastic especially the prawn cakes and Portuguese custard tarts. So fresh and moreish. We will be back thats for sure.

Lovely place! The area for wine tasting was too dark to really appreciate the wines. The beer, although very nice, was a tad pricey. The food, service and ambience where we ate was excellent! Thank you for a lovely day!

Amazing experience at the winery. Just did a tasting, 6 wines for R50pp. They offer various tasting options for those that dont enjoy both red and white wine. Great spot for lunch as well. Michelle was very knowledgeable and explained each wine quite well. Super friendly, the farm itself is spectacular, play area for kids, dogs to play with. Very cool atmosphere.

Beautiful setting and not far from Mossel Bay. The restaurant set up is a bit strange though. Limited offering of dishes and not authentic Portuguese as they lead on to be. The is a nice open space for kids to play and plenty of tables to sit outside.

Lovely venue and friendly staff, but we were disappointed with the fire salad that we ordered. It did not really resemble what the photo and description on the menu suggested. I would definitely not recommend this option on the menu the way it way served that day.

I had the best time @ Reedvalley with Francois as our connoisseur and he was by far the funniest! He combined his excellent information with light humor and we enioyed his wine tour so much! Thank you for this experience. We will visit again soon! Xx @south_african_honey

We were at the venue attending a live show. Wine was excellent and prices quite reasonable. I found the Portuguese style menu on offer limited, yet the courses we had were tasty and affordable. Great service and venue

Your wine and entertainment are nice, but Im shocked at the quality and prices of your food. Its ridiculous how your holidaymakers cheat on the prettiest.I still wanted to buy a casserole of wine, but after my ridiculous food that I pay for the most expensive, I only decided against it. Im ashamed of it!
