A very popular, well maintained camping site situated across from the beach at The Point. (at the time of posting there were only 8 stands available for December 2021.)The park features 211 stands, 21 of which are seafront plots (and more expensive than the rest.) Included in the price for a stand is 250MB data per day, electricity and security. Each stand has a water point to share with its neighbouring holiday maker.There are currently 3 neat ablution blocks, 2 of which are wheelchair friendly, but all 3 have facilities to empty portable toilets. Also well equipped laundry rooms with enclosed outside drying areas should one prefer not to use the electric dryers. A small tuck shop with essential supplies is situated next to the reception area.If you do not own a caravan there are 3 non-moveable units that can be rented. Contact Marissa Jones for more info.

The point caravan Park is being constantly improved. There must be new management. Some years ago the Park was somehow neglected. The caravan Park is a gem.

One of my favourite campsites. We had a spot with a view of the sea could hear the waves crashing at night. Good clean ablution block.

Very good now that its privately run

We arrived yesterday and thus far we are seriously impressed. Friendly staff at the gate, friendly bunch of fellow campers to make the arrival even more pleasant. The facilities are very clean all day long. The sites are reasonable in size. Water and electrical points are well positioned. Thus far we are very happy!

The point is a n open scenic beach road where you drive past the caravan park and can easily stand on the shore to watch the waves break. The views are spectacular! The sound of the waves breaking on the rocks is super awesome especially when the tide is in. The fresh sea air is added bonus to the lungs!

Had a great December holiday in a very dry Caravan Park.

Nice camping grounds. Within walking distance of the sea, shops, restaurants. Great for family and friends. Beautifull views.

We visit every December. They could look after the grass at the camping sites much better so that there is a trace of greenery on arrival

Its clean ablution blocks kept very clean. Not a noisy camp and near shops and restaurants. A very friendlt camp.

Best camping site in town - only problem it sounds as if the Municipality has leased it out to still be run as a caravan park and the rates will surely skyrocket similar to what happened to De Bakke and Santos.

I really cant make a negative comment about the Point Caravan Park. My husband complains about the ablution block at the schools side ... apparently it smells like pee. The security at the gate is extremely friendly..the men more like the women! But they are not rude, just a little shabby and blunt! I would recommend the place anytime. Washing machines and tumble dryers in washrooms would be great !!! Thank you very much! Japie and Susan Keyter

Have a delivery for long-term campers. General impression of Die Punt is good. Ablution facilities neat and clean. Its a pity they arent animal friendly.
