What a gem! Location is brilliant, its basically on the beach, making the actual beach semi-private / secluded (and did I mention almost wind-free). Malls are minutes away if you need anything. The chalet is equip with all your basic needs with a communal braai area. Bedding and towels are provided and if you really want to watch telly, theyve got DSTV too. Main bedroom is not equipped with power supply though. Covid really hit them hard and this you can see on the overall maintenance, but all seems to be in a working condition and everything is clean.The only downfall (reason for 3/5 rating) was the communication prior to arrival. Staff only seemed to want to close the deal and not give proper feedback, even if requested. Needless to say when we arrived at 22h00 (after spending hours on the road) and no-one answering their after hours cellphone, we had to have a hard conversation with the security guy who tried to force us in making a full cash payment. According to him it was the instruction given to him.

My Daughter and her husband stay here ion their visits from Durban. It is stunning. The view is breathtaking. If they could buy this unit, they would. The owners welcome them like family!

Nothing to do at the resort but great base for exploring . Convenient location.

Nice beach

Manager, Chris seems to take off for a week leaving no assisting manager in the mean time to assist with my query. Front desk staff can not assist with my query, leaving myself (company who would need to regularly use their services ie. spend money there) with no help for over a week. Highly disappointed.

Location was excellent. Right on the beach and close to all amenities. The chalet itself was a bit disappointing. Chalet had cockroaches and there is no cleaning staff. We stayed for 4 nights, towels were not changed

Mosselbaai has always been one of my favorite holiday destinations, I went to De Bakke Santos last year for the first time... And I honestly must say it was WORTH EVERY CENT! Im definitely going back to De Bakke Santos this year!

A wonderful resort. Camping and chalets available. Nice and clean grounds and a great seaview, actually right next to the beach.

WONDERFUL PLACE!! Have known the place since childhood. Located close to the beach. Easy to find. Close to shops and the mall is a lovely 10 minute drive away.

Great spot with out-of-this-world waterfront chalets and caravan spots.There is a trick to the caravan sports, though. The waterside spots are more expensive, so everyone camps in the cheaper (other side of the roadway) spots and puts their antenna equipment on the waterside of the road to discourage occupancy and preserve their economy views. See the photographs for examples.

Sweet little museum and great for children. Has toilet and a cafe. slots of interactive exhibits and narrative. Educational and great fun in Mossel Bay Centrum.

We went to visit friends for a bbq.They have been camping there for the last few years. Ablution facilities clean and well kept. Nice place to camp. Security guards not very helpfull or friendly, when we asked for directions.

Great facilities. A bit of a process making a booking. We were there mid week off season so the place was quite empty. Security was good and the staff and managemwnt were very helpful.

Calm relaxing place. Closest you could get to the beach with plenty sea shells which keeps you working for hours. Great stuff.

Ablutions always kept clean, local ablution workers very helpfull. Beaches all around. Close to all the major activities. Just the right place for campers like me. Can get crowded but everybody very friendly like South Africans can get.

Been 3 nights there and always windy, couldn’t do so much. The chalet itself just ok, wish they could install more electricity plugs in the bedrooms. Not really good experience, just OK.

The Service I received at De Bakke today was really so bad and shocking and really disappointing. Even the GM needs to undergo a Client Service course in how to deal with Customers. The place today was so so empty and all I asked was special permission to take someone bound in a wheelchair to an old friend of him who stays in a Caravan only forman half an hour, but only to be falsely accused and secondly rudely interrupted when I as a Client was trying to explain. Bad Bad Service and most definitely will not go there again.

Nice and close to the beach ablution is cleaned Daily. Nice and peaceful out if school holidays.

The worst possible experience. Security not able to control noisy campers with loud music at all. Tonight the music being played is so loud it is rocking our caravan at 11 oclock at night. I will not recommend this resort at all. During times with hardly any caravans in the park the security over do it but during events they are totally incompetent and not doing their jobs at all. They hide at the gate and ignore the total disturbance people are causing to other campers. This noise never stopped. Five oclock this norning we complained again. Four cars three tents and 20 people on a stand. Car radios blaring and still no control or checking up on people not legally in the camp. Ablusion block a total mess and Mossel bay is suppose to be the town of the year. What a joke.

To have a person like Barry at 59 Long Santos wait for your arrival is great. Orange juice, chocolates and a bottle of wine form part of the arrival. Thanks

Its very nice here but the parking is not suitable for a double cab so I would accuse this place of false advertising.. I would recommend to remove the garage from the advertising webpage.

Great beach, safe to swim, warm Indian Ocean water, large beach enough room for all, all amenities and modern conveniences in close proximity, loads of parking well worth a visit.

Except for the wind are camping was enjoyable. Good bathroom faslities and beautiful view.

The ablution facilities are excellent and so is the view. Upgradings are taking place.
