This is functional accommodation with all the basics that one would need for a self catering accommodation. The cherry is access to the fun park for the kids complete with a play place and pools. Having visited in winter it was great to have access to the heated pool and the kids loved it.The accommodation could use some modernisation especially the dated cupboards and bed covers. Very important to mention that this is a very clean place. The location is great with close proximity to the mall and importantly the beach.This place is good value.

Pre booking - not great. Check-in experience was average.Standard of chalet - poor and needs a lot of maintenance. Cleaning and housekeeping staff was friendly and helpfull.

We had an awesome day. Kids loved the tubes and was not expensive (entrance, tubes and treats) Would suggest a few more umbrellas in summer and toasties or more filling food during the week. Very clean and well managed. Thank you for making our visit enjoyable.

We had a lovely 1st time camping experience- friendly office staff, clean bathrooms and surroundings as well as security between camping sites.

Excellent resort, conveniently situated close to amenities and very neat and clean camping grounds. The warm water pool water was colder than anticipated and the queue for the warm water pool quite extensive due to COVID-19. Overall great service all round with lots to do, given the weather is right at such time.

Great place but we had a lost site even though others were avaliable. It would help to have a site map on line, so that the exact campsite can be booked.

Good value for money however the hot water pools should be part of the package as well as the slides and putt putt should have a special reduced rate

If it is not for discount, it is bit expensive. Why do they have three levels in a year?everybone feels the pain of lockdown...nice to stay there.will visit again.

Lovely resting place to relax after year of hard work

We have disvovered Hartenbos late in our lives, but are experiencing the belief that it has the best holiday weather, as true. The sea-shore camping facilities are very good and the beach is clean & very wide. The shops are within walking distance and the heated swimming pool is a welcome spot in winter.Walking paths along the beach is paved, wheelchair friendly and well used.

Family close by. Hartenbos a fabulous holiday destination.

Did not know where to find it. Very disjointed

Great place to go for a holiday. There are long white beaches to walk and play and enjoy the see. Great views. Lots to do for kids. They just revamped the beachfront with more restaurants and shops. There is also an indoor heated swimming pool. There is an play park with three water slides and an outdoor swimming pool. The play park also have putt-putt and a big jungle gym for the little ones. You do need to pay an entrance fee if you are not staying in the resort though.

Camping here is the best place

We arrived late so we made use of the after hours office and the gentleman that was helping me was rather rude in the manner that he spoke and had a very clear lack of enthusiasm for what he was doing. He did give me all the paperwork I needed but failed to explain what it is for.

Clean chalets, well equipped. So peaceful and quiet during the off season. Great amusement park for the kids.

Beach were very very clean. Workers were on a continious basis busy cleaning the beach and toilets. It was realy a pleasure to visit the beach mainly because of its cleanliness

The people are incredibly friendly, we did however experience quite a bit of trouble with our living area. Our fridge did not properly close and the geyser ran empty way to quick. Other than that we had a lovely stay!

The kettle in our room is broken. Fridges and rable has stains on it and it is very easy to break in to.

One of the best places along SA coastline to spend a holiday.

If you like hustle and bustle... This is for you. 5 stars. Not if you want something quite, like we do
