I visited quite a few joints who they say serves the best bunny in Durban got back home today and stil trying to figure out what the hype is all about. The food seems to be good even though theres new owners, the quarter veg came with extra gravy in a tub and salad with chillies in another tub

Best bunny chow ,awesome biryani.They are under new management/ownership but the food is still delicious as from over twenty years ago when they opened.They now have a delivery service which is a great addition.Call early enough to place your order for delivery especially with a bunny chow to get the best experience. Food is freshly prepared daily.

It had too much gravy and less salt but the place is very clean and nice fish and chips had not salt had less vinegar and the burger didnt taste so good.

New owners.....food isnt good at all. Cant compare them to the old bedford bunny owners. They need to hire another cook. Waste of money buying from them. Even a 1 star is too high to rate them.

Hands down the best bunny in Joburg. The puri patha and kebab/roti was also tops. The burgers, toasted sandwiches and chip rolls were average.

Food is excellent...Variety is not available on certain items...because it is specialized and limited. Everytime I go there, fish curry is sold out. So Im going to have to pre order next time. Mutton breyani and mutton curry are tops.Staff are friendly, not like the previous owner who was rude and abrupt.Amenities are neat, clean and presentable. Alot of thought went into this.I highly recommend this restaurant.Dont hesitate to eat there...value for your chow.

Bedford bunny was definitely my most loved take away restaurant up until now... Most terrible experience. Out of respect, didnt say anything the 1st time it happened but this is the 3rd time now. Ordered mutton rotti wrap and basically received a potato beef stew wrap with x2 pieces of meat, the rest juz potatoes, no gravy..... Literally a no flavor, salt or any sign that it was actually a curry.Phoned the shop, juz to bring it to their attention and Sunita was nice enough to hear me out and send her pics but could hear a man in the back ground, yelling, i must juz fetch my refund blah blah blah but sad part, his missing the point completely. Never phoned 4 refund nor free food.... With this being said.... New management /owners, not the same standard of food... Prices went up but quality of food DOWN DOWN.....

Old school charm, top chows and a great community staple in the heart of Lenasia South. Sadly the proprietor passed on in December 2019, God Rest his Soul. The family has taken on the challenge and are still dishing out some of the best durban style curries you will find in Johannesburg. Keep up the great cooking! Stop by for a 1/4 Mutton, you will not be disappointed.

The service was decent. When I walked into the store, it brought back memories of my childhood and instantly reminded me of Durban! The aroma in the store from the food is amazing. Ordered samoosas, a mutton and chicken bunny. Extremely satisfied with the food quality. I would rate 5 stars but the food portions need to be revisited especially the bunny chows. The quarters are much smaller than a typical quarter.

They make a stunning bunny chow. And they also serve a junior buddy. Lovely and very friendly family. 👍👍👍

Quarter bunny is actually 4 slices of bread and not a quarter of a whole loaf of bread. Im sorry but I did my maths in school and this is not right. Cost R70 for a very small portion of curry. Not worth the trouble.

Bedford bunny is known for its delicious bunny chows. They are very tasty, feels home cooked. However, Compared to most Indian take aways of similar taste and quality, their bunnys are very small and over priced.

I ordered a 1/4 mutton bunny chow. The portion I received was less than a 1/4 loaf of bread, there were many bones and the meat was tough. Overall the bunny was dry but had decent flavor
