Was there today waiters was so good as well as food Ill give 6/10 but the dessert was terrible more especially cakes all of them they where old and hard even by looking u can tell these is old can u bring the old Rosetta please becouse we not happy

Great buffet. Spacious area and lots of variety of dishes to choose from, from starters, grills, seafood, dessert and drinks. Has a great taste. The food is fresh and always warm. Eat as much as you can. Its one of the great buffets.

Rosetta bistro! Please you guys dont go there!! A lady named Elizabeth is full of disrespect, she will talk to you like shes paying for your food!! She has zero customer service, I called she answered then she was busy having her own conversation with someone else, I called 5x she picks up and hang up.. What a horrible service!! Rosettas bistro train your stuff!!!! Elizabeth made me conclude my family is never ever coming there again!!.. That Elizabeth is horrible, she needs lots of training!

Not sure if we chose the wrong week to go to this place but it was just a crowded mess. Precious is not even friendly - she walks around with a straight and unapproachable face! Faith, Pretia, the cooks and waitresses did try to be friendly, polite and welcoming though.

This place has good and bad days. The front section needs some serious revamping in terms of service and friendly staff as i have always had a bad experience. Yet inside the staff are much friendlier and helpful. The choices of food are not as huge and varied as was the case with Queen of the Nile, but the experience has improved alot. Most pathetic experience for a meal that takes an hour to get to your table only for it to be fat on bones. The head chef’s excuse is that the meat comes like that from the supplier. I thereafter asked him if he would eat the food he served me and his response was “NO” , so how can you serve paying guests food that you will not eat yourself?I then asked if i could change my order. But he then shrugged his shoulders and spoke to the manager and walked away.Would not recommend to anyone.

Rosettas Bistro was recommended by one of my friend while I was looking for place too take out my family for dinner. So my friend suggested it too me. Its lovely place you can make a reservation for the day or night your coming. Friendly stuff warm feeling they give you when your their. My family loved it and I can recommend it to anyone too visit Rosettas Bistro.

Very average. Seating could be 100% better. Food okish, nothing to rant about. Pictures on web deceiving, not half of what you get...best of all you have to walk back to the entrance for your ride, no one in after 22:00 with a car? We organised our own transport and he was not allowed in to pick us up. Sorry, never again.

Had dinner with kids, the food was too salty and meat undercooked, but the service was outstanding. Chefs and waiters on point. The food was a big NO! NO!

The standard of the restaurent and food has dropped drastically.some of the food was spoiled .no decent starter,main couse was horrible.no decent dessert.no juice but only cheap wines and fizzy drinks.The meal served was not worth the price they charge. They dont serve what is advertised.Nothing was impressing in that restaurent.All 16 of us left there very disappointed .We will never go back there ☹☹☹

Calling to make reservations and the employee answering tells us the buffet is closed meanwhile on the page is says the buffet is open and IM wondering how is she inside answering the telephone if the buffet is closed? And she did not even state her name or give a clear explanation of whats going on or why its closed. As far as I know its been open for Business since around July 2020. Wonder why your employees could possibly lie to the customers.

Lovely place, lovely environment. However, somehow the food was badly done as of yesterday when i was there. Overall, its a lovely place for family and even functions.

The Christmas dinner menu was below average, food I can make at home. At Billy Gs last Christmas we had Gambon, pork belly, the best oxtail ever, prawns are a standard, sushi. Rosetta had sausage that tasted like soya, dry turkey, dry fish, those were left overs from lunch. I have had wonderful food before at your place, but Christmas never again. Billy Gs was fully boooked.

Restaurant is very neat and there is a professional look and feel as you enter. The staff is friendly and very understanding. Always trying to help as much as possible. There is a variety of meats and foods to choose from the buffet. Variety of sweets and creams too. Overall the food was enjoyable and good.

Ive been to Rosetta a couple of times and the experience was wonderful. So,I thought it would be nice to take my friends there for my birthday last Saturday. I was so disappointed. The tables were dirty,the cutlery was dirty. We had to ask twice for it to be changed because the second set brought to us was still dirty. The food was horrible, the liver and mince meat was off. I was so embarrassed after I bragged so much to my friends about Rosetta. The staffs attitude though was pleasant.

They have a world class restaurant with a variety of dishes. Their customer care is excellent and the food is professionally prepared and delicious. For the standard if meals offered, I would say their pricing is reasonable. It is a good place for families. I would highly recommend this place for someone who needs an adventurous experience.

The standards have lowered, I guess it’s because of the COVID pandemic but standards are now so low the food was cold , the meat was getting bad

Lovely place to be at, whether youre catching up with friends or family, solo or even on business. The food was amazing,more especially because it was a buffet. My dislike about the place is the time it took for us to place an order (at our table) for our drinks, then after placing our order we had to wait +15mins to be told Martini is finished, then wait some more time to get second option drink. Not cool at all. And some of the staff were not so friendly. But, Other than that, a thousand compliments to the chefs.

The place offers good soulful food, great for hosting a private gathering especially with friends and family. The place is beautiful and caters any food options you can ever ask for.

Very poor quality of food served to paying customers. Went for breakfast this morning was totally disgusted. Very expensive should have rather gone to the Spur for a delicious tasty breakfast. Will never go back to Rosettas. Extremely disappointing if this is what so called professional cooks and chefs serve.

They must improve on their food! Doesnt taste nice at all. Cutlery was dirty especially the glasses it was a mission to get a clean one. They focus more on pushing volumes than offering quality service and food. Only enjoyed their dessert!

Not impressed. Food was definitely recycled from previous sittings. Dried out fish and fruit salad. Pasta salad very slimy. Tomatoes soggy. Mussels smothered in garlic to disguise fishy smell. Roasts and pizzas were nice. Dessert table looked tired and cakes were dried out. Oyster beef ice cold as were a lot of the dishes. Service non existent. Had to get our own clean cutlery and serviettes from open tables. White wine watered down. Didnt even taste like wine. R279 not worth it at all.

Average rates buffet and restaurant. Best part is availability of mussel and bottomless wine and cold drinks, thought wine is of average quality. Any other food is averagely made. Lots of sweets for kids. I recommend healthy options for kids. No variety on other foodstuffs. Lots of salts in it hire fries . Fruit salad was good. Over all, average restaurant and buffet.

Alright I am not one to post a negative review but tonight takes the cake.Firstly we had to wait over an hour for our food.My father had to go to the kitchen to voice complaint.After that we waited another 20min, about to leave, when 2 out of the 3 of us got our food.After another 10 min went by before my mother got her pizza and it was the wrong order.This was not acceptable. We are regulars and our last 2 visits were not up to par.But hey... At least we got free coffee👍

Good food and wonderful place for an outing but some of the chefs are disrespectful and I personally feel that its a racial thing not only with customers but also with other chefs. Everyone should be treated equally whether they are white or black. Its like reverse apartheid there,not everyone but a few...but I guess complaining wouldnt help since the same nation will cover up for their own. Other wise past all the racism the place has great views and food but some things need work on.

Staff are not as friendly or as helpful as expected. The lady clearing the tables gave the best service of them all. She smiled, she greeted and was pleasant to deal with. I am heavily pregnant and having finally reached the front of the queue was told that it wasnt actually a queue and needed to join the much longer one.We had a booking and found it ridiculous that walk-ins and bookings had to use the same queue. Whats the point of booking if they dont have a system to fast track the reservations?When I asked if we could be sit at a table with the couch, the chairs definitely arent very comfortable for pregnant women, I was told no only groups could use those sections. When leaving there were three or four couples seated on those couches so why the double standards?As for the food, the selection is incredible. So much to choose from however it seems that because they give you so many choices they have sacrificed taste. So meals were cold, some were very dry and some selections just seemed pointless.The best meal was from the Asian side, the cashew nut and chicken meal. So tasty. Wish I had started there.The desserts were so pretty and inviting, however the taste did not match the look of it. The malva pudding had a weird taste. The custard was thick and unsweetened. The brownie tasted like a a cheap biscuit topped with baking chocolate. So pretty and yet so unsatisfying to eat. Found it inedible.The ice cream was great and the cake selection seems to be better options however by then I just couldnt stomach trying another dessert and being disappointed.Maybe this was an off day for them. I remember great food when it used to be Cleopatras.

It was alright, they could start catering better towards people with special dietary needs, like gluten-free pasta. And instead of using plain flour to thicken their gravy and sauces, use corn starch instead.

The worst breakfast and service. The poached eggs was watery, the english muffin was as tough as rubber. My collegue ordered an omelette with bacon rashes. The lady was persistent to ad more and more. After stating multiple times that it is all we wanted, we got an omelette with bacon in and pork sausages. The service was unprofessional and we had to wait so long. I must say, I do not know about their dinner service, but breakfast, never again!
