This place was a hidden little Gem we found while driving to another venue for lunch. Staff was great and service was good.The big outside eating area underneath the trees was so nice. Feels like you in an oasis with the water fountain running in the back ground and the birds chirping in the trees.My dad got Calamari and Prawns he loved it, I got Sicana steak was really nice.

First visit to this Mozambiek restaurant today. Unfortunately we left without eating waited just short of an hour for our starter that did not arrive, main courses arrived then our starter. Great venue for families and children lots to do for the kids. But if you expecting good service this is not the place.

Ordered 4 main course meals for takeaways and received starter portions instead. Not impressed at all after having a R3000.00 bill. The Manager didnt even bother to call me back he got the waiter that served us to call me and nothing was resolved he actually argued the matter.

We had lunch outdoors in a beautiful garden setting. The various dishes ordered all lived up to expectations and were scrumptious although the vegetarian Jack fruit was somewhat lacking. A slight damper was our waitress who must have been having an off day - not very friendly nor helpful. Overall though a most enjoyable outing. Highly recommended.

So a week ago I posted about the bad experience I had and today I was left absolutely taken back and blown away...Thabo the manager called me and asked me to please return as he felt bad for my experience, I too run a business and know you have good days and unfortunately you get some off days, so I decided to let them make it up to me and I was definitely not disappointed.The food and service was out of this world this evening and I want to especially thank Thandi for her service and the laughs she was super friendly and patient and is definitely one of the sweetest waitresses I have come across...Thank you guys again... Yes we are quick to complain... Place is very spacious and nice. Brilliant kiddies playground. Waiters are slightly delayed as they have do far to walk to get to the kitchen and bar area then back to the tables outside. Otherwise a very pleasant experience.

On 11 April we visited Mozambik, Linksfield to celebrate my sons birthday. The venue was Very busy with lots of people. However we waited an hour an forty minutes for our main course to be served which is unacceptable. The food was good but I have had better from them. Will however visit again.

SUPER Chilled atmosphere. Add the ocean waves crashing behind you and youll swear youre at Beach Bar.Oh and food is great too. Had the Trinchado Fillet starter and Chicken Prego. Both were superb.The wife was quiet for a solid 15mins while eating her plate of 8 Queen Prawns, she agreed with their claim of them being Award Winning.As usual the kids food ended up in takeaway boxes since the kids play area was too enticing.Well be back!

I ordered the calamari main which came overcooked and rock hard, I proceeded to tell the waitress to please tell the manager that I was dissatisfied with the quality of the fish. instead of coming to our table and chatting to me directly he chose to simply take R35 off the bill and not see us at all. I then asked to see the manger who told me that he personally tasted the calamari from my plate during a pandemic and that it appeared to be cooked perfectly to him. My family and I eat here regularly and we wont be returning.

Just a great experience.Food is just great. No frills, but just really good food.We sat on the outside patio and it was perfectly comfortable; tables are well spaced apart. It even rained while we were there and it didnt inconvenience us at all.

Mozambik is a party venue restaurant! Be it a party for two or a massive festival - it is always cooking !I love arriving at the restaurant ! Its awesome. (Food is marvellous) its an allround gas!Its the Good restaurant! It has all the right sentiment ! (A lovely garden with trampoline for the kids and a big ‘wishing-well’ fountain! ; inside or outside on the deck or benches and tables on the lawn! It’s the Rustler’s Valley of restaurants. Perhaps my favourite Mozambik from the franchise. Lots of seating, well themed, kid-friendly, great service and some of the best seafood and peri-peri chicken Ive had. A must-try if youre in the area. An excellent experience.

Awesome food, really small portions and stupid expensive.I ordered a trinchado Fillet which I thought was steep when I got it for R95 as it was small, I then ordered the rump after that both tasted delicious.I however found out there are 2 sides to the menu and the 2 measly dishes they refer to as mains came to R362.The food was amazing but I personally will not go there again out of principal as its a rip off.

Absolutely amazing! The biggest Mozambik Ive seen yet! Very helpful staff that will go above and beyond! Lots of options with seating. Inside is more sophisticated and outside is more laid back. There is also ample space to host kiddies parties, baby showers etc. The pricing is reasonable too. Overall I would definitely recommend and I will be visiting again soon!

13.10.2018 Whats better than a rainy afternoon with good food and great friends. Ive been wanting to try Mo-zam-bik for a long time and finally got the chance. We werent going to let the rain keep us away. We had picked this spot as it had a nice kiddies area, which sadly the kids couldnt enjoy due to the rain bucketing down, but still played around with the sand art indoors.They have a great variety on the menu in terms of food and drinks. We loved the little brown paper packets of roasted nuts on the table. I had to try my Cosmopolitan, which wasnt bad just a bit shocked that it came in a plastic glass. As for food, for starters i couldnt resist trying the trio of Calamari, Chourizo and Olives in a Peri Peri sauce served with a Portuguese roll. Delicious, i went for mild and i am sure the hot might have been just as good. The others ordered Livers, Fish cakes, Rissoles etc and were all deliciously good.For mains, it was just as confusing and tempting with the many options and even combos. I ended up asking our fantastic waitress Maureen whats better between the Partially Deboned Chicken or the Sacana Steak (Wine, Garlic and Creamy Peri Peri) and i asked for the Wasabi Mash. The Chicken as well as the Fillet was really tasty. My Fillet was a bit stringy but i think its more the way in which it was cut. Friends ordered the Seafood Platter for 1, the Steak Eggs and chips and Kiddies had Chicken strips and chips. All plates emptied 😋We were too stuffed for any dessert. So if you looking for a great spot for a celebration or a big family get together, definitely consider them. First experience at Mozambique Linksfield and was seriously surprised. The seafood was amazingly well prepared and good size. Chicken was succulent and peri peri as advertised. For starters I had the chicken giblets which was well cooked and flavoured with good spices which was thoroughly enjoyed. The service was incredible even though it was busy.

My birthday celebration with family was very enjoyable, fillet steaks, rissoles, calamari, spare ribs, steak prego, all very tasty, as to be expected from Mozambik. Good location, venue with outside eating area with a play area for children. The only let down and serious reason for concern is the mini golf area which has been neglected and overgrown with cacti which is extremely dangerous. My son unfortunately experienced a run in with a pointy cactus first hand!! Not pleasant...Our kids were also charged R20 each for the experience. Trust the owners will take the necessary corrective action to rectify this potential safety hazard. UPDATE: I was contacted by the owners who assured me that the necessary action will be taken to improve the mini-golf area. Thank-you for the prompt response.

Easily one of the coziest and most authentic lunching experiences Ive had to date.The chicken peri-peri sauce was some of the best Ive had and the calamari was really well done.The restaurant is very roomy and offers multiple eating locations as well as space for kids to play. And theres a peacock, its quite random, but its great.I very much look forward to my next visit.
