Great atmosphere, good food and exceptional service

Their food is the best and the environment is very good. Good for the hole family to be there and also good for a date night.

Was here from 12H00 to 14H00, ordered starters which had no flavor and didnt taste good. The Main cause was good. The manager on duty (Rudy) came across as very racist, he only went to check on the tables that were white. However the waiter was friendly.

Came in to the restaurant at 12H00 till 14H00, waiter was very friendly. Ordered starters of chicken livers, calamari and squid heads, which is very bland, like no flavor. The main course was very good. The manager Rudy went to every white table to speak to the people except our table, as we are Indians, very disappointing. All non whites were not given the same opportunity.

Good family style meals. You can also watch sports on the various TV screens around the restaurant. The chicken was more on the sour/ acidic side, however the seafood and starters were all good. The service was good as well.

The grilled chicken was insanely delicious, service levels...impeccable.

For a franchise, superb food from the freshly toasted Portuguese roll, the homemade peri peri sauce on table, right through each meal. All items are priced well and the staff is attentive. We had a wonderful waitress in Alice. Well worth a visit!

Even better than the main Calistos in Glenvista. They have the best waiters/waitresses

We took a set menu selection, the avo Ritz starter looked good, need to work on the calamari starter. Rack of ribs was massive and tasted good. Steak presentation needs some work. Seafood rice tasted really good, just needs work on presentation. Baked deserts were really good

Same great taste as the original Calistos in Gillveiw. However I felt that the portions where smaller. They also served smaller portions of their R&R which is one of my favorite drinks. Otherwise staff are great and atmosphere is amazing

Very tasty Portuguese cuisine although the portions are quite small and you get rationed on your chips and youre lucky to get a leaf of lettuce for a salad. Staff very lazy & seem to go to work to get paid & not EARN their salaries

Best food and best service. We went to Calistos looking for John because he was hosting us the last time and he was the best but we were advised that his section was full. We were then offered a lady call Beverly to host us and I don’t regret. She was also great. We’ve been to restaurants but they are not the same as Calistos and I think it’s not just the both of them but it’s Calistos employees. They are well trained, happy to assist and love their jobs. Their food is affordable and have speed service. Keep up the awesome work you do with your food and with your service, it’s extraordinary and we will be coming back for more.

Best prawns around and their hot souce is amazing goes with every thing if you like hot spicy food. Their drinks and range is well worth it. Their staff and managers are better than most restaurants. Ive visited to the extent, were I could visit 6 months later, the manager and previous waiter would come and great and ask how you are. Lovely family orientated restaurant. Cant wait to go back again.

We visit with friends from Australia. This Calistos is very popular as it is always busy. Food and service was good. Price of food is reasonable and value for money. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

This Calistos Restaurant was a winner. We didnt have trouble finding good seats and our waitress was quick to assist throughout our visit.We all enjoyed our orders very much and it tasted delicious. Really happy with the quality.The menu selection very good, anything from chicken to meat to seafood to small selection vegetarian. Wine and drinks menus were big, which was really pleasant as few places offer a wide selection lately. Prices were alright for a restaurant in a casino, however prices were almost all the same i.e. there wasnt a good range for people who may be price concious.-1 star because we werent given out full casino card discount, only half of it. Not cool to con someone Calistos, especially not on my birthday.-1 star because furniture isnt being kept in shape. Our table was wobbling, then I adjusted the footing, which improved it, but then realized the entire table is warped and the top is loose from its brackets. Also the wall fixed couch seats were in a state of ruin.In spite of that, Id visit this restaurant again and give them another chance to honour the casino card holder discounts.
