Not a bad place but just concerned about some consultants who do not keep promises they made and some giving conflicting information.

Takes them literally months to respond to anything, and when they finally do, they dont investigate the situation like they should.They just go well, these guys SAID it wasnt their fault, so we see no reason why they be lying. gg. We cant do jack for you, enjoy that fact and thank you. Something just magically materializing into existence, and then finding its way into your manifold is apparently a thing.Ok.

I reported a car port that fell on my car because is was not fitted properly and the strong winds of Cape Town lifted it up and it fell onto my car. The building we stay in with their Insurance SANTAM refused to pay for the damages and claimed it was an ACT of GOD. I reported to my insurance at the time Outsurance the matter, they claimed to investigate. I gave Outsurance all the info, the images and videos of the day the indecent. I also found out that the building did not have the proper papers approved by the Municipality to install the carport and i told the lawyer from Outsurance. I filed a complaint with Short Term Insurance OMBUDSMAN and my case was closed with zero explanation. The same building is paying to fix the same parking lot because the is water leaking into into a building below which happens to be SHOPRITE. With fighting the Insurances in South Africa just be aware you are on your own.

Good day,I was involved in an accident in December 2020 and the airbags popped out the insurance after assessing the car they told me that it will be fixable. Its been 2 months now i even paid the access however when i follow up the panel beater is advising me the car is a possible write off and they told the insurance however the insurance insisted that it should be fixed. I ma really disappointed as i have suggested with the insurance for the car to be a write looking the damages cost and also for my safety.Please help i feel like my life is at risk here, something is not right

There is no real advice or opinion given by this office, they do not uphold standards legally. They dont know whats going on with vehicle law and repair standards. They are more concerned with resolving all cases open and to close them within certain time frames forcing you to comply with their timelines. They do not take sides only pass emails around. They do not say anything against insurance companies Telesure are the worst. They are allowed to use second hand vehicle parts on your cars and they do not care about the consumer or CPA.

Oakhurst insurance thee most typical insurance one can ever go for, Ive put in a claim since the 4th of June and Ive never heard a thing from them only up until I call them they are telling me they will not be fixing my car since its too expensive for them to fix, these people dont care about their clients whatsoever as long as they are getting money thats all they care for, I Wouldnt recommend it to anyone heySTAY AWAY FROM THEM

Dont waste your time. 6 Months down the line and I just get empty promises with no ruling. They are just the insurers pets and afraid to rule against them as my insurers case is as weak as can be. They do not stick to their time lines and do not respond when e-mailed.I will however drag the OSTI staff that worked on my case with me to the small claims court so that they can also feel how it feels like to waist my time.
