I first had dealings with AllLife Insurance in October 2020 when I applied. After I did the assessment on phone - I told the consultant on the phone that I would like to read the contract first (they should email it to me) and once I checked it - then I will agree to a date for a debit on my account. Then the end of that month - I just got debited - and had to reverse the debit through my bank account. I was very upset and contacted them. They apologised profusely and offered me a great deal. I told them again - I would take the offer up in the new year and we had agreed on a set rate. They said they would follow up with my Mid December - which they did not do. This agents name was Carl Abrahams - he agreed to a great rate for me. Then I emailed them last week during 2nd week of January - I told them I want to take up the offer from March. Then I get a phonecall - and they do a whole new assessment of me on the phone - and by the end of it, the consultant gives me a new quotation - 20% more than the offer that they had said I could take up in the new year. Then I get told its because I had a birthday - but Carl Abrahams had never told me that. He just told me I can get the offer in the new year. When I confronted Carl Abrahams about this - he told me that it stated in the interim contract he sent me with the offer deal, that there was some sort of loophole for them to charge me more. This insurance agency is DODGY.
