Ive always been a foodie, but French cuisine has always been one of my favorites! At last we had the chance to visit this Gem of the West! And it has been worth the wait! Fantastic food and a lovely wine menu to complement the amazing dishes!

As always this quaint French restaurant delivers. This is, I suppose you could say, my neighborhood restaurant as I live in close proximity of this lovely establishment. This restaurant is rated number 1 on Trip Advisor for the best French restaurant is Johannesburg. Not bad huh... The Chef Patron, Robert Baxa, is the quintessential French Chef. Charming and always finishing sentences with Voila. The food is flavorful and well presented. Portions are good and the staff are well trained and informative. I love this restaurant for all of the above, including its location. There are few fine dining restaurants on the West Rand and this is wonderful addition to the repertoire for the West. They do lovely wine tasting events paired with a tasting menu at certain times during the month. Go onto their website and reserve your tables for these events.

Great food with excellent service. We spent our anniversary here and I would happily reccomend this establishment to anyone.

Cozy hidden gem...can be a bit squashed if the restaurant is full.Food was very tasty and well plated.The chef came out and asked us how we liked our meal...all the staff made us feel welcome and looked after without interrupting our conversationans.

What a fabulous evening. The food is exceptional, the service superb and the atmosphere so welcoming. It is like going to dinner at a good friends house, a good friend who is a fabulous cook. The chef is in and out of the kitchen to make sure that everyone is having good time and no detail goes unnoticed. A truly fantastic evening that is well worth repeating.

Wow. What a gem of a place. My hubby saw this place on a drive past and decided on a Friday night we should try it. The minute we got there we were made to feel so welcomed. The service is impeccable and the food was tasty, well presented and generous. The souffle is out of this world. Highly revommended

Absolutely amazing. The food is incredible, well priced, the atmosphere is great and the owner /head chef (who is actually French), greets you and assists you which puts a great personal touch to the evening. My only issue is that there are unfortunately no cocktails offered here. If they did have it would elevate the restaurant just that much more. But I guess its just the type of crowd they are trying to draw. Other than that there is not a single thing I can fault.

We happened to find this restaurant by looking for a place that makes souffles. The food was stunning all round. Had the gnocchi for starters and they just melted in the mouth. The crayfish for main and double chocolate souffle. The souffle was to die for. Atmosphere was lovely and the chef was entertaining & charismatic. Will definitely be visiting here again in the future.

Very good food and nice ambience. A well filled restaurant (always a good sign) but the chef still made the effort to come and see us and attend to our wishes in person. Would definitely recommend for a little French flair on the West Rand

Very good French restaurant, in a private setting, with very good and secure inside parking. Robert...the chef and owner is always on hand and the food is to die for. The best dessert souffles I have ever had on this side of Paris or Paris itself. Also try the lobster bisque for the soup starter....exquisite....

I took my wife to lunch at Les Delices de France to celebrate her birthday. We had a superb lunch, served with panache by friendly and knowledgeable staff and overseen by a genial French chef. The moment of truth arrived with the bill, but I guess special occasions come at a price. Well put our small change in the piggy bank for a return visit on the next special occasion.

In true French hospitality style the host becomes part of the dining experience, it is always a good idea to make a reservation for this place as even on traditionally quiet nights you are going to find it busy. The atmosphere is very important as part of the dining experience, Les Delices gets it just right, if you close your eyes for a second you can see yourself in a sreet side Cafe in Paris. The menu has a good selection for a specialty restaurant. Be prepared to spend a little time on your dining experience and immerse your self in the atmosphere for a welcomingly different evening. Les Delices de France pricing is appropriate for the exclusivity and experience, the food was masterfully prepared in good time for a small restaurant. I would recommend the experience even if you are not a fan of French quisine. If you love French food you wont be disappointed.

Les Délices de France. An appellation that does not do justice to the truly authentic cuisine and classic French techniques expertly and deftly displayed by a chef extraordinaire. Francophiles who have been unaware of this hospitable, well staffed restaurant, are missing out, by going to perhaps, more fashionable places in Sandton. If I were a Michelin inspector, I can dream, I would award a star to the chef for his wonderful regional Alsace menu, a star for the knowledgeable, friendly and professional staff and a third star for the generosity, hospitality, and care that turns a simple dinner into an Experience unmatched. Merci beaucoup! I will always remember my first visit and I most certainly will taste everything on the menu in the future!
