Dear Woolworths Hyde Park. The ladies behind your cooked goods counter/serving the pies and whole chickens should NOT work there! I have been ignored not ONCE but twice in the last 2 days. I have given you the benefit of the doubt yesterday but to receive the treatment today was absolutely shocking and to think, the unemployment of South Africa current is very high. Rather give the work to people who want to work!

Small Woolworths store with limited clothing ranges like country road only. The food market is great with loads of offers and a wide range to choose from. Store is neat and well stocked. The coffee shop is a nice to have except that it blocks most of the entrance to the store. Make the entrance feel cluttered with flowers and trolleys and baskets etc. A bit of a maze when you enter.

Its a great Woolies, fully stocked and good service.. I like doing my shopping there, its a really nice one..

Very organised. Since theres no sit-down eating due to Level4 restrictions, theyve used up the space to enhance their store ambience. Amazing.

Good, clean, store with excellent staff-friendly and efficient, always willing to help. Variety of off-shoot stores that provide lots of other amazing goodies. Look out for the “special and clearance” table behind the tills(or just as you come in the door on the left hand side), it always has something exciting! Parking is always a tight experience at the centre and definitely not cheap-acess is also lacking, during peak times, can be delays, so time your visit appropriately.

Generally well stocked and has a small clothing section as well (only Country Road items).

As a tourist it was interesting to see how similar they are to Marks and Spencers.

I went to Woolworths Hyde Park and was disappointed by discovering the rotten grapes bought. I thought that Woolworths Hyde Park wouldve had the best of the best. Extremely disappointed! Hyde Park is not close to my neighbourhood. I want a refund or grapes delivered to my house.

This Woolworths is not as big as other Woolworths that are close by. However, it is very close to the parking entrance which makes it a convenient destination for getting groceries in a hurry. To avoid crowds, the management will redirect folks with few items to the clothing sections (Trenery, etc.). They also have an operational coffee station. Try to go early in the day as a queue may form getting in.

I had the most wonderful experience at Woolworths Hyde Park yesterday evening . I purchased six trout fillets as there was a special. When I got to the till I was charged the original price. Thinking this was a mistake, I told the cashier who immediately called the manager. He went to the fridge where I had found the packet of fish and saw that the special which was still being advertised had actually expired a while ago although they were still advertising it. He then told me that in terms of the CPA ( Consumer Protection Act) my purchase would be free. Have you ever? I hope no- one will be disciplined too harshly for what was, I am sure, a genuine erro

A very neat and tidy store. Quite a good selection of groceries, meat and wine with the usual high Woolies standard of quality. Must say I was also very happy with the coffee shop inside the store. All in all a very pleasant shopping experience.

Well, we were disappointed as they were unable to offer us any hot chips, they had no cronuts, had no lemon for our tea and could not give us a biscuit with our tea. We did go into the store and buy our own. The kitchen staff were a bit noisy.

Worst Woolworths I have ever been to.Had the Avo on toast.Avo was brown.Toast options were ciabatta and whole grain (all others were out of stock).Didn’t have any of the butternut, coconut and ginger soup (the only soup on the menu).Chili toasted cheese had no chili.Top it all off - the portion sizes were the smallest from any of the other W Cafes I’ve been to (incl Morningside, Nicolway and Sandton City).Didn’t even have enough Avo to cover the toast.Will NEVER return to this cafe.

The restaurant is amazing, staff are efficient and the food is delicious. Their needs to be more tellers on the food side. Hyde Park is such a great mall too. No car guards either!

Massive thank you to Patric (Woolworths Hyde Park Trolley Porter) Mbulelo (Woolworths Hyde Park manager) and Swazi Viligazi (Security Hyde Park) for the safe return of my wallet (all credit cards and cash intact). I was about to embark on an overseas trip without which wallet the trip would not have been possible (international drivers licenses, credit cards , ID etc etc etc. I seriously didn’t expect to recover the wallet ( got distracted loading my car and forgot the wallet in the trolley). Huge gratitude to Hyde Park Woolworths, Hyde Park security for their honesty and help - something seldom expected in SA. Hope all enjoy their Christmas bonsella - cash v willingly donated to v worthy cause.

Whether is woolworths Benmore or Woolworths Hyde Park, there seems to only be inattentive waiters hired by Woolworths Cafe. Sat down in vain...completely ignored. The waiters would rather clean the tables for prospective customers than attend to the current customers.
