Great experience got a booking for this past Sunday at 9:00 am to renew my drivers licence and was done by 09:40 I honestly thought Id be the for longer but was impressed by how quick everything was !

I went to renew my drivers licence. The service was fast and efficient but not too friendly. Just tried to ring the # given on the website, only to hear a recorded message informing me that the # does not exist. Tried an alternate (010) # but no answer!

Lost drivers license, Visited Maponya dltc, appointment was on Saturday at 10:00 am, arrived at 08:30 and was serviced immediately, and at 09;30 i was done, 1st come 1st served as long as you have verifiable appointment done through NATIS, you will helped irrespective of the appointment time NATIS gave you.1) Take two id black white photo, id doc and R300 CASH; (R228+72(for temporary drivers license)) and optometrist eye test letter(optional) or do eye test at the Maponya DLTC2) you will be given D1 form and lost document form at Maponya DLTC.3) visit SAPS for affidavit story is A LIAR for lost driver licence.IM HAPPY CITIZEN, MAPONYA DLTC IS VERY EFFICIENT!!!!

I visited the license department to renew my license and had to go back about 3 times before completing the process. I received the best service ever each time i went. All staff members were very helpful.and over extended themselves in assisting.

Praise must be given where praise is due! I had an 8am appointment for my license renewal and was tended to almost immediately upon opening.The staff knew their business and did their best to make sure everyone who was there was processed speedily. Queue management for License renewal from the initial queue outside to the filling in of forms and eye tests were all exemplary. Very happy with how everything went. Was out of there in an hour tops.I was sanitised a total of 3 times in the hour. Every time there was an exchange of paper between me and the employees, they made a point to sanitise everyone afterwards.Tip I got from the security guard: Even if your appointment is at 3pm, you can come at 8am and you will get serviced. Just make sure you have an appointment for that day.Also... carry cash. The speed point machine doesnt work!One last thing: It is a huge centre that provides various government services such as Home Affairs and Social Security (SASSA)- it is rather packed but everyone tries to social distance. So if youre still super nervous about Covid (we all are but some more than others) you might wanna put off going there until later.

I arrived 13:50; 10 mins before the 14:00 spot i was booked on. I was kept there until 15:35...also I was made to purchase photos though the NaTIS website only mentioned photos if a temporary license will be required.....I did not require a temporary license

Worst place ever to come for drivers license renewal and the most dangerous during covid. No strict covid 19 protocols being implemented. People walking around no masks people allowed into the building with no masks and no screening done. Its madness. If you have an appointment at 3 be prepared to wait 1 and a half hours.

I received a beautiful service from the officers & security personnel directing the queues. I visited the centre 3 weeks ago. Another officer comes to check if you have all documents and direct you to the relevant counters. The officer that attended to me was professional and effecient. She allowed me to contact my employer (to rectify some information on uif forms ) while waiting at her desk. My employer responded swiftly. There was another outstanding information, the officer called me the next day following up on the outstanding document.Big Up to the team.

Its Saturday morning, I arrived here at 7h20 to ensure I was in front of the queue by the time they open at 08h00. Its now 09h10 this place is still not open and there is no notice to advise customers that the centre would not be opening.

Their services are really not acceptable they tend to forget there are people who need help and make you stand outside for hours and hours people just forget about that place.
