On the 26th February 2021, I visited this drive thru with my helper and my 2 kidsWhen I received my order I saw that the sit down area and in store was empty , the kids were nagging as they were hungry so we decided to go in especially because the store was empty too.I took the food out of the car. The mash and gravy was not sealed properly and messed in my car. We sat down with the food and when I tried to take the all star box meal out, all its contents fell out and the box felt flimsy, opening the burger for my daughter. to my shock the burger had been eaten, i could not believe it. I took the burger to the instore counter and the lady that was on the front line asked me, is that the snack burger that was eaten on? I was horrendously surprised that she asked me about this before I said anything.Which means that they knew very well that they gave me this burger, it was intentional.I am utterly disgusted that I could be served food that was eaten on.It is absolutely unacceptable to have received this type of quality of food from a franchise such as KFC. I went to KFC trusting that the food would be of high quality and instead we received food of extreme poor hygiene.I was given a burger that had been eaten on it was contaminated with bacteria and germs and i feel as though our rights were violated.How dare KFC give me and family this bad food? The burger was not the correct order either. KFC cheated me by giving me a cheaper burger which is this eaten on (old food) snack burger (as per pictures) whereas part of my all star meal was supposed to be a crunch burger!My daughter would have eaten the burger in the car and no one would have known. How horrific?!We were misled when we received our order and we would have driven away! Our experience for joy was taken away, it was horrible! I touched the burger and the packaging not knowing that someone had eaten on it.So much for social distancing and stopping the spread as well.I have escalated this matter, still unresolved.

Refrain from ordering via Mr D Food. There are always issues with orders. Food thrown into the paper bag. No straws. Or some items paid for do not arrive. Madness. Pathetic management of orders

Average food quality. I have ordered here a few times and feel the quality can be better. Chips have been underdone, too little sauce in the wraps, crunch burger not crunchy and overall just average.

Onl one person behind the counter. Her name is Anna. She is clearly deaf because you have to repeat your order 15 times and she still gets it wrong. She is also mentally handicapped because she cant string a sentience together. The quality of service is typical for KFC.

They always forget to add items u ordered and although they refund why not just bring the item u forgot to pack? Also u they dont answer their phones.

On several occasions we have not received our correct order which was paid for. Its not the first time that weve got food where we paid for extra sauce and received no sauce, the colonel burger was so dry I could hardly eat it, the box master had so little sauce and Ive asked and paid for extra sauce. Im disgusted and will never go back there again.

There are so many nice take away places in the center. Avoid this oneFood is awful and tasteless. Go to other branches if you are a KFC fan . Tasted burned and dry burger. Sorry I did not bring a sandwich from home which would have made a nicer lunch .

I am absolutely upset that my family and I cannot feel safe to sit and eat at KFC Weltevreden Park.We had lunch there between 11h45 -12h15 today and there was a drunk guy walking and interrogating everyone inside.No control and he did not have a mask.No security at all.My family does not feel safe and does not wanna eat ata KFC ever again.Terrible Restuarant.How can this not be controlled during a lockdown ?

I went there on Sunday 21st Feb 21, the service was really bad.

Personally, Ive always had good chicken pieces here. Service is good, no complaints but nothing to boast about either. It would be nice if KFC in general had better packaging, because when they pack your meal at this KFC, they turn the box with your burger in it sideways or even upside down sometimes to get it in the brown paper bag. Then when you get home you have to rebuild your whole burger when you take it out the box and the sauce that was supposed to be on your burger is now all over the box and you end up eating your burger in pieces, scraping the sauce off the box with the bit of burger you can hold together that you rebuilt.

Unlike Blackheath KFC whereby their ice cream machine is forever not working this is my go to place from now on.

Staff always friendly! Always fresh food! I drive past Strubensvalley KFC to this one that how much better they are!

I would give minus 5 if I could. Worst service ever. Upon ordering, no word of any delay was given. At the collection window we get told the chicken will take 9 minutes. 30 minutes later, still waiting in the car park having been offered someone elses food twice. Could have cooked fried chicken and chips at home in the time it has taken to be brought our order, and it having been wrong any way. Complete waste of time and money.

There was 1 chip that was rotten!!! And the chicken portions had been made fresh but were drenched in oil. The zinger wings however were fantastic

WORST KFC EVER. I strongly advise anyone to not go there. The staff are far from professional, they touched my chips and dropped chips out of the packet. I ordered coke from the machine, I literally got something that is a mix between coke and cream soda. The food is below standard. I hope this reaches a manager that I can get into contact with.

The lady with the tattoos has been awesome each time we visited BUT the actual Chicken Pieces that we’ve bought have tasted ‘burnt’ as if the pieces were cooked in burnt oil.The Burgers, Zinger Wings, Chips, Twisters, etc. all tasted completely normal though so just stay away from the chicken.If you were wondering, I based my experience ,of the Chicken pieces, on the many times that I purchased from the store, I don’t really remember a time where I actually enjoyed the chicken from this particular store.

Food is better than the ave kfc however staff are not trained well

Food is prepared quickly did not needto wait for food at drive thru but staff could be a tad friendlier.

Always popular and it is well situated and clearly visible to people passing by. Well supported franchise that rarely disappoints.

After many years of boycotting kfc I was convinced by the missus to give this branch a chance,we were met by a helpful and friendly staff member and we ordered the family variety feast 6 piece and the food was amazing for fast food,but after this evening (7 January 2020) Im surprised kfc is still in business as their chicken is uncooked and a puddle of fatty,greasy slime that wants to clog vital arteries and shorten ones life,it tastes exactly like cooking oil,the only positive is that at this particular branch the staff are still very helpful and friendly.Suffice it to say Ill be boycotting kfc once again.

I had the misfortune of having to go find take a ways due to load shedding. So after driving round I found a KFC with power. Thought I was fortunate. Sadly I was mistaken. 1 till open out of the 2 with 4 people standing around it. Occasionally 1 person packing the food that was prepared, normally no one doing so. No lettuce for the burgers, wraps etc. The prepared food warmer was overflowing with prepared food. Food delivery service drivers given preference by the occasional packer in the store front. Drive thru servers helping themselves to the prepared food meant for the by now approximately 40 people waiting for orders to be bagged and using it for the drive thru customers. Management was lacking and customer service if you were not a food service delivery driver is virtually non existent at this store. It may be advisable to implement a seperate counter for food service delivery drivers and thus the ordinary man in the street may get served. It took approximately 50 minutes from ordering to receiving food. Sadly it appears as if the ordinary man in the street is no longer considered important

Its the 4th time that they have forgotten an item in the bag this year. Seriously is it just me or what. Today they forgot an item and i had to take the chicken back as it was old and dark brown. They replaced it with fresh chicken...wow where did that come from. Phoned them when i realised item was missing....no one picks up....arrived at the till i phoned and still no one picked up!!!

Just had the worst experience at KFC Weltevredenpark. Waited more than 15 before my order was taken. Was finally able to place my order and didnt get the order slip. Then waiting a further 20 minutes for my meal. The manager wasnt able to explain himself. Please KFC look at you video footage to confirm.i will formally lodge a complaint with KFC head office.

Excellent service and value for money shopping

The service was horrible, I had to wait for an hour for my food. Whn they said it will only take 10 minutes. Finally whn Food arrived they had wrong order. I had to wait for another 15 mins, for them to get it right I was so disappointed 😞

Fast service but the amount of sauces on the food varies quite a lot from day to day. its been four months of lock down and they can at least do takeaways now.. The government must catch a wake up, they are ruining our economy big time!
