Have eaten here previously and was left with a bad experience, decided to try it again after a long time and once again left disappointed.Ordered 2 x chicken schwarma the meal was prepared was very slopy , we ordered one hot and one mild, they both tasted the exact same with no distinguished difference in taste. Hence my wife was left unable to eating her meal due to the meal being being too strong.Service at the store is not the greatest as well.Have had the same meal at other franchise and the result is a completely different hence my expectation is not based off something unreasonable.

Bought a Shawarma and Quesadilla that was utterly disappointing at Greenside Emmerantia. Coated with grainy Chilli powder and called a sauce. Mind you, no actual sauce was present. Tried giving the manager feedback and got horrible service in return. Please review your management and check the food before serving customers.

I rated this a 2 simply because of attitude LOL. So heres the thing. Emmarentia Mochachos was the bestest ever. 10 stars out of 5. Mid week meal? Mochachos. Ordering at work with friends? Mochachos. Parents visited? Mochachos. But it had to be the Greenside Emmarentia branch! To the point where I called to say we hands down have the best Mochachos in Emmarentia! Complimented the owner and praised the food!! Fast forward some weeks I ordered for my husband. The strips were hard and dry. Chips were perfect. Silly guy did not think to complain! The same evening I decided lets order with the brother. Hard biltonng for strips. Chips were perfect! I obviously could not eat it, so decided to just phone in and let them know this is the situation. Both meals placed at different times, yet the same outcome, and re-assuring the owner that we know this is the best Mochachos, but something went wrong today. Ofcourse, after much difficulty, we were refunded for ONE. ignored it. Stopped buying and waited a while. Decided today to try it out again today. You know when you buy food, then forget to put the leftovers in the fridge, it smells funny the next day? Well that was the smell of my rice today, and the strips were a bit dry. KNOWING that this isnt the way it used to be, I decided to call. Ofcourse, owner was like she is eating the same rice and its absolutely fine blah blah and she needed to inspect it. My food was collected from my office for inspection and a new meal delivered (I was grateful). However, the rice was still funny. Duh. It was the same lot. But i did not call back to complain. We ate the dryish strips and carried on with life. Owner phones to check if we were satisfied. So obvs I said we werent, but we did not want to complain again, but we think this may have been old rice that was re-heated. All i needed to hear was I am sorry but this rice was made today, im not sure what else i can do for you. And honestly, Id have forgotten about it. Instead, I heard that there is nothing wrong with the rice, she tasted it herself, she sold 7 before me, no one complained (Ummmm yeah probs coz u dont acknowledge when theres a damn problem and so defensive.) Id think constructive criticism is valued but clearly not at Emmarentia Mochachos. I dont normally rant, but when I pay for food over and over its a disappointment, I feel its necessary to speak up. Also, Im such a regular at Mochachos, I know what good food is. You can handle compliments but not criticism. Thats not good customer service. Anyway, its a wrap from me LOL. Yayyyy @Mochachos Rosebank. I will be your new regular now LOL. While Im at it, I had one problem with rosebank Mochachos, and my friend and I got a free meal. When they forgot items in our orders, we were either compensated or they delivered the missing item(s). So yeah, slip ups happen, for as long as they are dealt with appropriately, it wont be a problem. At the end of the day we are paying for the food, so fresh food is an expectation. Id never have posted this, but to hear the owner be so defensive, kills the mood of ever wanting to purchase from them again. For this, I will inconvenience myself and Uber from Rosebank. Sorry, youve lost a lifetime customer who brought literally anyone to your branch for what I knew to be the best Mochachos! (BTW, the lady at the till and I are buddies. Shes amazing to order with and we always share a laugh. Very friendly but I ont know her name sadly)

The best sharwarmas hands down. Ive tried Northcliff, Melville, trade route and rose bank mochachoes and if you want a really good sharwama this mochachoes makes it TOP tier quality. 4 stars because the chips are a bit of a weird side, not to sure why but it still tastes nice. A bit over crispy in my opinion. But other than that, best machachoes in Gauteng.

Best mochachos in jhb. Quality of food is much better than most other mochachos in jhb.. roll seems to be different with the burgers much softer and fresh than other branches! Owner is kind and friendly and has the coffee shop next door so you can sit down and eat comfortably next door as well.

This is honestly one of the best Mochachos in the country.Unbelievably good food and it’s consistently good. They always get the orders 100% correct and the taste perfect. Whether you ordering for delivery or collection, you can expect the same seamless and professional service. Highly recommended.

In the midst of a pandemic, staff were not wearing masks in the kitchen whilst preparing food. When asked about it, the lady behind the counter said it was too hot for them to wear them all day. Covid-19 does not care if it is hot or not. It is a danger to their staff and customers to not wear masks, not to mention illegal.

Was at the store recently, All Covid regulations and much more personnel hygiene in place. Manger was friendly to advise that at regular intervals, and witnessed sanitation, staff hands(Santizer stations throughout kitchen and store area), sanitize all touch points, counters, credit card devices, etc and masks in use by all. And yes great food as well :) :) :)

Freshly prepared, juicy chicken burgers, crispy strips (more often than not) and yummy spiced chips. Efficient service 🙌🏼

Update:Still getting better every time we go. Generous portions of wonderfully cooked, crispy chips with good amount of seasoning-burger was fresh and tasty with thick cut cheese and pineapple and the “mild” was great. Store is small but clean and even provides wash basin and outdoor seating now. Well done with the upgrades-staff are friendly and quick and fridge is well stocked.New guys running the place-staff were friendly, service was quick and quality was ok. Burger was tasty, but not assembled well at all-smashed into take out container so, was all soggy. Chips were seasoned only slightly, and not 100% cooked. Make no mistake could be better but will fill the gap. The parking ain’t great, and the store is very small, so if more than one couple is in there it’s crowded.

Ordered two burger meals to take away. it was awful, soggy buns, awful beef patty in one, chalky chicken in the other. Called to let management know that something was wrong and received the worst costumer service. Owner refused to believe what I was saying and was very defensive and unhelpful. I will not be going back. Fix your attitudes towards your costumers.

My mother was driving near the mochachos, when one of their bikers were driving on the wrong side of the road. she hooted at him to which he proceeded to pull the zap sign at her. when she complained to the mochahcos, she was sent a voice message, which is saved, using rather disgusting derogatory language swearing my mother. 10/10 horrendous people! will never support this place!

As far as take away food goes, Mochachos is not my favourite. But they are easy, relatively well-priced, and pretty much consistent in taste. This store is SANHA halaal-certified, and Muslim owned; no alcohol served. The management and staff have always been really efficient and accommodating. When I recently called in an order (unwittingly 5min before they closed on a Sunday night), there was not the least bit of resistance.Not a place to sit down and eat, though a few tables are provided for street dining.

Place is clean and lots of parking outside. The staff are friendly. They take orders over the phone which is nice. Only thing is the seating area is small and the tables are outside. Staff sometimes make mistakes with orders.

Possibly the worst food and worst service i have ever had. i was presented with a raw chicken fillet in my burger. When i complained the manager refused to refund my money. Definitely not going back again. So 80 bucks down and an empty tummy to show for it. Still cant believe a restaurant just ripped me off. Avoid at all costs.

The food is good here, especially the burritos. But you have to wait quite a while, also the service is not very friendly but are professional. In the end you only go for the takeaway food anyway.
