I brought my VW Polo to these guys since the rear wheels were making some howling noise. There was also a tapping noise coming from the front wheels on bumpy roads. I told them to do the diagnosis. The mistake I made was to hint that I suspect the wheel bearings with regards to rear wheels. First of all they didnt offer to drive the car to hear what sort of noise am I hearing. Later on I got a call from the lady and she confirmed that my wheel bearing were the problem. I then authorized the repairs which came to R3, 800. I then collected the car. I noticed that the manager was reluctant to test drive it with me. He demanded that I make a payment first before the test drive. That raised an alarm. I paid and after that we went for a test drive. To my shock, the noise from the back wheels was still there. I told him that I can still hear it, which means its a misdiagnosis. He gave me some crazy explanation. Went back to the workshop and he did some manual test on the rear wheels. He concluded that the tires are not evenly aligned and that might be the problem. I then asked if he is certain. He said the only thing that can confirm that is if the wheels are swapped back to front vice-versa. I instructed him to swap the wheels. They did the swap and the noise was transferred from back to front.. meaning the problem was with the tires after all. So I paid R3800 for replacing rear wheel bearings which were perfectly fine. I am a peaceful person, I didnt want to start a fight that I cannot win. It always happens with the guys who dont know their work, you pay for all the guessing. So I swallowed the rip off. My recommendation: only take the car to these guys when you know what is the problem. Absolutely useless with diagnosis.

I took my car to them for an assessment for things we thought was wrong hoping it was covered by the insurance we took out when we bought the car. None of the things that was wrong was covered but by checking if it was wrong they fixed most of the problems in the process. They only charged me for the assessment. I sent my Scirocco and Polo to them.My scirocco still has a problem, after spending thousands with them and taking it back 5 times. Every time they tell we tested it extensively, my check engine would come back on within an hour.The replacement my clutch unnecessarily on my Polo, didnt fix the over flooding issue the first time.

Wouldnt call them Audi specialists . R18 000 down the line car was still not fine . They rely too much on computers and fail to use basic mechanical knowledge .Took my car to someone else who without even plugging it into a computer fixed it for R2000 . All the parts V.A made me change were still 100%

Serviced my Audi A4 there, came back driving like its brand spanking new.

I had a problem with my VW Citi Golf clutch cable, they punched in a new plate to prevent it from breaking the clutch break more often and they charged me R22 000 and They requested it cash payment. I arranged with my bank for a loan. When I drive out with the car it was going into gear 3 and 4 only, oil was leaking, alternator was messed up saying it was on their way and my speedometer reader was off , they said theyll have to quote me for fixing those which was the things they caused themselves. Its a ripoff. VW itself said they should have charged me R1 900. Useless workshop ever!!!!!!!!!!!! DONT GO NEAR THAT PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
