Service excellent.In touch the whole time through WhatsApp.They even delivered my car to me on special requestOnly reason for 4stars, took 3 full days! Battled to get the right oil seal... Supplier issue apparently.. eventually got the part through kiA. Car was received back clean and spotless

The only reason there is one star for this is because the front office staff are so friendly and professional. Other than that it was a nightmare. I informed them that I do not live in Joburg so I would not be able to get anything done other than a major service that day, but if there were any other issues I would come back. I had chosen to drive an hour and a half into Joburg from where I live because I assumed the service would be better. I was wrong. I arrived around 9am (late for a service I know) but I simply wanted a service done, as I said before. I wondered around a nearby mall for 4 hours before eventually phoning to follow up. They hadnt serviced the car yet. Around 13:30 I was finally sent my quote via email and only then did they start. I got the car back about 2 hours later but Im not sure why they didnt contact me earlier with the quote so they could start. Everything seemed fine for a few days until my WHEEL FELL OFF. Turns out a piece was not replaced (confirmed by the mechanic who came to the scene) which caused the whole wheel to come off while I was driving.Never again, Car Service City, never again.

I must commend the staff with their friendlyness and professiolism. I was also very impressed with their covid procedures. My car was washed and was spotless inside, even the wheels were polished. I am very satisfied and can highly recommend this branch to have your car serviced

I serviced my car here while also changing 4 tyres at dunlop. They ensured that my wheels got taken to dunlop and put back on my car and then taken for wheel alignment. My oil was leaking and I did not know where it was coming from, they found it to come from my oil filter, because it was loose, other places would have said its a seal that must be replaced. They are honest reliable and friendly. I would definitely recommend Car Service City - Cedar to everyone

I recently had a rather costly service done at another provider but having paid I was left with a serious gear crunch and oil leak. Tried Car Service City to see what they could do. From first call I can only speak in highest terms - highly professional all the way. Thorough and transparent. Knew exactly what to expect and was delighted to get more than I asked and paid less than I dreaded. Cannot praise them highly enough. Theyre really nice people and I wish them the success they deserve.

I took my car in for a clutch repair. They found other issues with my car. Im always hesitant that car places try to take advantage of someone who doesnt know a lot about cars. However, thats not how I experienced Car Service City Cedar. The staff was super kind and helpful. They followed all covid protocols (disinfecting my car before handover). Im very satisfied with my experience!

Friendly & professional staff. Got a free Uber ride home (free if you live within 5km of the workshop). Got updates at each stage of the job. Collection date & time was as promised. Car was cleaner than I’ve seen it in a long time.

Just had my car serviced at Car Service CIty - Cedar and WOW what a great experience. Every person I spoke to was friendly, professional and willing to explain everything that had been done in the service. They answered all my questions, kept in contact with me regarding any additional problems they found and topped it off by sending me home with a sparkling clean car!It is often difficult to know who you can trust with your car and who will do a great job but I definitely made the correct choice choosing the Car Service CIty team at Cedar!

The people here are friendly and prompt. They are however extremely over priced on the parts that was needed for my Honda CRV which I know I can get a lot cheaper elsewhere. Aircon regas for instance would be R850 (which I didnt need a regas for) with them where it actually costs about R550 at a decent aircon place in fourways. My brake pads needed replacement and that was R1350 without labour which I got done at another guy for R975 and the pads were only about R500 (and its good brake pads) My Freelander brake pads were only R895! Im sure theyll do it right and your car will be good to go, but over pricing the part so much seems very excessive to me.
