I was absolutely blown away with the service from this dealer. In particular Jean and Kevin went over and above what I could have expected, even delivering my wifes new vehicle after 8pm on a Friday night. After writing off Land Rover as a company due to the service received from 5 other dealers in Gauteng I am so thankful that Land Rover referred me to them. They are truly focused on customer service and I would highly recommend them to anybody

I would not recommend anyone to you due to no transparency,no advice as to what I must do and no evidence of the service as to what was replaced, no alternatives on the way forward,just negative advice unfortunately the part for Land Rover will take 3 weeks and I needed my vehicle at that moment to travel long distanceand I can not use you to service my Land Rover ever again,sorry but I will make use of better service centre.

Terrible service, my car went in for a diagnosis as it had a performance restricted error, I was told that 2 sensors needed to be replaced and when I picked up the car 5 days later, the service department said that the power module just needed to be reset, I asked why the sensors hadnt been replaced and was told that it was reset and tested extensively by the technicians, who gave it the all clear. I then further told them, I will be driving to KZN with my family and was assured by them that I will have no issues. On my way to KZN the next day the error popped up again and the engine light also came on. The vehicle is now at Land Rover Ballito, and they are replacing the sensors.Response from The Glen;I would like to inform you that we at The Glen can confirm that all the correct checks were concluded on your vehicle to resolve the Restricted Performance.Please find below the invoice that will show the necessary diagnostics that was concluded on your vehicle,·         All checks were carried out as per the Diagnosis·         Fault Codes were checked·         Integrity checked·         Power control module checkedFor your reference please find below the Diagnosis DTC Report as per the Note on Below report modules responded correctly.Below you will also find the Successful Report that was received on your vehicle.We did everything we could on the day of your visit as per the Diagnosis on your vehicle, I do apologies that the error had returned after your visit with us at The Glen.Response from Landrover Ballito;Work carried out on the vehicle:·         JLR The Glen failed to properly diagnose the sensor fault, and just did a power module reset and released the car. This resulted in the vehicle having the same fault again and going into a restricted power mode to protect itself on your drive down to KZN. The car still carried you safely to KZN at a restricted speed.

I am very disappointed by Land Rover The Glen! I bought my Range Rover Evoque in April and had to book it in at Land Rover Sandton (this is the closest dealership to me) because the boot latch failed. I was extremely distressed to hear upon my booking confirmation that I had missed a service and there would be consequences. Apparently it was supposed to be serviced in May (I bought the car in April). I have never heard of someone having to service their car 1 month after purchase. My attention was never drawn to this fact. Had i been made aware of this I would have insisted they do the service before I took the car. It is ludicrous that Land Rover The Glen has taken absolutely no responsibility for this oversight. The reason they have washed their hands of this is because they made me sign a piece of paper acknowledging when the service intervals were. The next service on the page I signed was for 26000 kms or 12 months, but a reasonable assumption on my part was that 12 months was from the date I purchased the vehicle as one would assume they would sort it out before selling it on, especially as is was so close to the service due date. As I did not buy the car new I dont automatically know what month the car was registered. My car is currently on 18000 kms so I never dreamt that it would need to go for its 26000kms service. The courteous thing to do would have been to telephone me reminding me to service 1 month later, or to have serviced it before handing it over. This experience has really tainted my experience with Land Rover.
