A beautifully humble restaurant in a lovely setting! The variety on the menu is incredible and the quality of the food is terrific. We were treated to generous serving sizes and only the freshest, most delicious ingredients resulting in resplendent-looking and hearty dishes. The range of desserts and sweet beverages is awesome, as is the variety of options for vegetarian diets and for the kiddies. There is a lovely authentic feel despite the cuisine drawing from many different parts of the world. Above all else, the service from the friendly staff was a treat and the speed with which the food arrived was unbelievable. Thank you to all who run the Milk Bar for a special experience :)

We went to Milk Bar for brunch and had a really good time. Coffee was great, food was good and a nice vibe. Also child friendly with baby chairs etc. and plenty of outside area to walk around. Wasnt very busy when we went but as this is more of a pub I would imagine it could get very busy in the evenings especially with major sporting events. Definitely worth a visit if you in the area.

Nice spot, very busy so not the place if you looking to chill but good for drinks and tasty food with friends. Oh the busy part makes some things take long so order ahead of when you usually would.

Nice place. Staff was friendly. Food was not fresh as beef strips are pre-cooked so ended up quite dry.I tried their prego roll, will not order it again but will go back to try other food. Their chips are tasty though.

Easy afternoon spot. Wide menu and the food was enjoyable. I shared the 600G ribs with salad with a friend(R180) and fresh squeezed juice combos (R40). All went down well and the service was good.

We often use this spot for off-site work meetings - no separate meeting rooms, no presentation facilities, but nice big tables in the open area and not too noisy to have a small meeting. Good service and good breakfasts. Clientele in the mornings mostly seem to be other people doing the same thing - laptops open everywhere.

Very nice bar. Good service. Was not too busy on the Thursday night we were there. Would definitely recommend for a casual beer or to meet some friends. Had a steak and it was ok, but not great. Would definitely go here again.

We went here for a quick lunch away from work and it was a wonderful setting with really good food. The waiter that served us seemed a bit confused and unenthusiastic but gave good service none the less. This must be a great spot for early evenings and fun nights out!

Milk Bar Parkmore is an awesome place. Located in Parkmore you will find this hidden place. They have a few action soccer courts where you could play league or social soccer. Lets not talk about the actual milk bar itself. Awesome restaurant with a great bar and they also offer the best ice cream in town. Pauls Homemade Ice cream

Cosy and cool. Only went for a quick drink but was really impressed by the service and ambience. There is live music too.High rating for the atmosphere but on a cold night it is cold as doors are not closed, which is not ideal. Could do with closing the doors on cold nights.

This place has got the vibe. The weekends are so lively with people from the sports club gathering after their matches. If you are accompanying someone who is going to play that day, Milk Bar is a fun place to chill...

Milk Bar has an African vibey atmosphere. The location is great as you sit outside and the menu is unique. Love every meal Ive ordered here. The evenings are now getting too busy, parking becomes difficult, and with the addition of live music the atmosphere is lost.

Milk Bar had good solid food that pleased the group I was with. Their prices are affordable and service is attentive to your every need. The dessert menu only consists out of Pauls ice creams - and although well renowned it can be bettered by little effort. I loved the ambience and the rustic setting.

Was there for brunch that turned into lunch because they signed one waiter to a table of 35. Food came cold and average. Probably much better if you are not a big group.

Been many years since I visited this Milk bar, as Ive been working away from home for the past decade. Why milk?? Anyway, its comfy like any local pub! A bit pricey, but this is Sandton after all! I enjoyed the pop corn on the house. I might visit more often now that Im retired.

One of the most delicious burgers I have ever tasted! Fresh juices are yummy and the view is a nice breath of fresh air in the heart of Sandton. Great place to bring the kids to play soccer while you enjoy lunch or a cool drink, friendly staff and an outdoor restaurant that gives you some nature amongst the concrete jungle.

Nice place for family time

Good atmosphere with a lot of seating both inside and outside. Has a sports area for the sport enthusiast and outdoor seating overlooking the sports grounds for the outdoorsy types and parents.Havent had an issue with service and havent tried their food yet but the menu looks deceny for a bar style venue.I would recommend this for almost anyone as long as you dont expect a club vibe. They are also kind enough to provide you with complimentary popcorn during sports games so thats a massive plus.

Food is a mix between terrible and pretty good but the service is always incredibly slow and the staff unresponsive and look unhappy. Regardless of how quiet it is, you know you’ll be waiting a while for menus to be brought, orders taken (usually I’m dribs and drabs) and your food finally brought out.

A great spot with an awesome vibe. Right next to 5 a side soccer fields and was busy both evenings I went there. Food is mediocre though. Great place for a friendly drink in the evening.

The Milk Bar is a fine place for a beer and great chats with your friends. Very cool atmosphere and not looking out over a parking lot (which is otherwise standard in Joburg...)! Can be recommended!

Why did o not come here before?No idea is the answer!Such a great little place.Not much to eat as a gluten and lactose issue person, but when we applied ourselves we made a meal.Vibe is great and it must be amazing in summer on their deck.The live act is truly amazing, he has such guitar skills and made the vibe!See you guys soon.

Awesome venue for drinks but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Menu needs a complete overhaul. Staff are really good and shop is managed very well.

We had lunch on a Sunday and really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. The good is good there and so is the service. The only reason Ive given 4 stars is because there were a lot of smokers with no real separation between the smoking and non smoking sections. We were surrounded by smokers - not ideal when youve got a child.

Local pub at the club feeling. Full bar and live music on Thursdays. Good food but more a place for afterwork drinks. Sit at the edge of the patio to view the 4 fields of action soccer matches down below. Remember to ask for the free popcorn with your drinks. Lots of safe parking at the restaurant or below at the soccer fields.

Appeared to be relaxed place to chill with family and kids. It was but the standard of the food was similar to the sports clubs of old where the food was the last thought and of a low standard. We had 2 tough rump stakes a chick pea sweet curry that was so sweat and straight out of a tin. A meat pie that was essentially a mince pie. The chips were not 3 times cooked as stated on the menu. A very disappointing Sunday outing. Some would say we should have called the Manager but sadly we have complaint fatigue in JHB as it appears many restaurants dont do anything except say sorry. The venue has good potential.

Incredibly disappointed, waited 20 minutes for drinks then after an hour no food. We eventually paid for drinks and left.This was my second visit, first time was good.Apparently they were changing gas cylinders but no one communicated with us.We had to leave so got no good.Pity

Decreased my rating from 4-star to 3-star. They bring the wrong burger. When you send it back and ask them for the correct burger they just retro fit your old burger with the new ingredients and give it back. Not cool.
