Well hidden great place to get some good food. Good choice of wine and craft beer. Gin is available too. I had the T-bone steak which was amazing. Their burgers are really good too! Definitely worth it

We went for Friday afternoon drinks and stayed for dinner. Theres a beautiful view of JHB and the service was fantastic. The food was really delicious and the restaurant area was lovely to sit in. Such an awesome evening! If you feel like a pub this is the perfect spot!

The coffee machine was out of order, and there was no alternative coffee available.

Ideal setting in Craighall Park and the potential to become a suburb hot-spot just like its pub, Giles however a little more effort should be made to make the restaurant more inviting. The patio needs a little more protection from busy intersection and could be more shielded and with a type of pergola to shield patrons from the sun and even rain. Food was good and will go back because its so well situated.

Not sure never been there just waiting for a tow truck near it - seems popular though - busy on a Friday

Really nice atmosphere and a very popular spot so usually worth arriving in time to get a good table. When I last went my burger was slightly burnt though so perhaps best not to order a full meal on a busy night for the kitchen.

I used to like this place for a quick lunch but the food has become distinctly boring and rarely changes. If there are specials, I never hear about them. I dont plan to return for quite some time as I am not expecting the owners to recognise that the food is now mundane nor particularly tasty. Prices have also risen quite substantially in a short time. On my last two visits, the choice of draft beer was poor.
