It started hailing golf balls while I was there. Im not saying they caused the hail but can we really prove that they didnt? Its the perfect excuse to keep customers in store. It cant just be a coincidence right? If Im right this is serious. Manipulating the weather is a violation of the Geneva Convention. This is major, I have a feeling it goes all the way to the top and the the bread industry is behind this. Anyway the rolls were really good and the bakery smelled nice.

Got horseshoes from them... super disappointed theres like 0/zero sugar on them and they were like slightly burnt honestly just felt like I was eating pastry regects. Also if youre a lady and want to be stared at go there.

Very slow on responses, asked for a quote. Waiting 10 days and they still dont bother getting back with a response

Ive spent the last 2 days trying to get a response from this bakery. Find them to be very slack with correspondence. Tried communicating via email, messenger & calls with no joy. If this is how potential customers are treated then I rather take my business elsewhere!!!IN RESPONSE TO REPLYHow is it possible for potential customers to check when no calls are taken & Ive called the shop from various numbers. With no response even left voice message.Please revise ad & tell customers to rather check in store.And no Im not unreasonable & expect to be pushed to the front of the queue. Maybe get an auto reply message that can be sent to your customer if youre too busy. A suggestion that will help in future reviews.

I am not sure how anyone can rate this store less than 4 or 5. I am surprised by comments I have read about the owner. Even if I do not have anything to buy I will still visit Salehs every single week just because of the owner and his staff. We love his wit. And I have yet to experience below excellent service and quality. Salehs rocks OK!

Very warm and cozy area.Everything there looks and tastes very fresh. My only concern is that there is a cat roaming around. I do not like this as I fell it is unhygienic and it can spread germs. Other than that keep the good work up.

Absolutely love this bakery! I shop here quite often and go specifically for their salted caramel eclairs which are amazing! I recently tried their banoffee tarts and milky bar cakes, delicious! Their variety of garlic rolls and mini baps are also a must and are always soft and light.

They are the most delicious bakery ever! Fresh cream is just that, fresh cream. They are a little caught up in their own world which I suppose makes some customers unsure about their service but I would like to believe that its this quirkiness that also gives them their creative genius. This is not a bakery to pass on.

Had a very bad experience with salehs bakery. I had purchased a chocolate fresh cream log cake.Unfortunately when we had decided to eat the cake, noticed the cake was very dry and stale. Whats worse , the fresh cream layer between the cake was off and tasted sour. For a R100, this cake was definitely not worth it.

Very expensive

Great decor and fair service, my issue is the overpriced items, for instance some of the frozen baked goods were almost 50% higher priced than their competitors. A further improvement aspect is the street and pavement were dirty while the nearby drain absolutely reeked which adversely affects the overall experience.

Best cakes ever, fresh n just melt in your mouth. even better than Fournos I must say.
