This is the place to you have to visit for a excellent meal in Hermanus. Me my wife and kid cant stop taking of our meals we had. Most meals comes with chips and salad or just the one your choice. I had had both and would recommend for a balance meal. Deserts not a big range but the ones that are there is the best you can have any one will not be disappointed believe me and im not a desert person. Oh the service and vibe makes you feel like like your at home with the owners being great host. Thanks Lynne, Jonathan and Nicky you guys are the best. 10 Stars aka Hunter

Awesome little Restaurant!!!What a lovely Google find.. The food was sumptuous, the calamari strips, fried hake. The chicken schnitzel was a hit with the kids. The dessert.. Having just experienced cold treatment at Oskars bakery, my family decided to walk further down the road in the hope of finding a place that was happy to serve us. We were not disappointed. What a friendly welcome and service by everyone at The Cuckoo Tree. It is much appreciated. The food does not disappoint and we were very happy souls. As the saying goes, When one door closes.....another opens. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Hermanus!
