Clean and quiet wimpy depending on what time of the year you come, can get noisy with tourists. Nice environment. The staff is friendly here and service is timely when tourists arent around. Food meets the usual wimpy standard so if you enjoy Wimpy youll enjoy it here too!Overall experience: great

The food took over 30 minutes to come, a burger with chips, hake with chips and mix grill with chips. The plates were cold so the food was also cold. I requested whether there was a problem and the waitress tokd us the kitchen was slow. No apologies. At least the coffee and hot chocolate afterwards were hot. The cashier commented on the little tip😥

Second time around. And I must be honest. Never ever again. From cold tasteless food to a waitress that smelled like a mature brewery.The toast was so thin.Eggs arrived not as per order. Coffee cold.Staff were giggling and chatting so load.Customer definitely dont come first at this Wimpy.Weve been here during the whale festival and had similar experience. We thought the cold food was because of the amount of people in the restaurant.. therefore we thought we give it another try. But to our disappointment once again.I will address my experience with the Head office.This branch of Wimpy definitely leaves you with a bad taste in the mouth and a memory you will never want to experience again.

Horrible experience, and we frequent Wimpy a lot! Hermanus is dark and dingy. The milkshake was sore, the food was awful and when I found a weird looking, almost like a hair, but not, I was told its a leaf root. No, just cannot and will not be visiting them again. Plenty more interesting and better restaurants to visit in Hermanus!

Best Wimpy in South Africa. Friendliest staff. Owners add a person touch and come and chat with customers (not the usual: How are things? ... But a genuine chat). Fast, efficient service. Lots of laughs from staff and work done with a smile on their faces.

Service was so fast. After ordering, food came out in 10 minutes. This was on one of the busiest days of the year. Also got a decent portion of chips with burger. 10/10 would visit again

Terrible service or rather rules . Wet wipes are only for people who buy ribs which doesnt make sense and hot water is R9.99 were as cold water is free . Its ridiculous even when entering the staff was not welcoming and clearly the white minority who also happen to be regulars get better treatment .

The wait for our good took longer than expected. I enjoyed the food when it finally arrived. I love restaurants that serve breakfast any time of the day. My overall experience was good. Hermanus is a great place.

No Coffee!!! Absolutely no coffee... Waiter tells me their coffee has ran out. End of our lovely Easter weekend disrupted by no coffee, why not have additional stock over a long weekend? Portions were so small as well.

I dont always remember Wimpy burgers being as good as this. Seems they have upped their game...keep it up guys!

Worst experience ever. Food took long and was cold when we received it. to top it all off, we were sitting outside when one of the poles came loose from its socket, Hans the most disrespectful manager/owner has the cheek to tell me this has never happened before as they dont have baboons eating there often. Reffering to us a baboons we were 16 people spending over a R1000 and that is how we get treated. Absolutely shocking!!

Most cost effective breakfast I know, no4hibg beats wimpy coffee 🤗 inside and outside sitting area, you can even charge your phone 😲 pretty amazing right! Theres two wimpys both are awesome 💥

Hermanus Wimpy definitely one of the better Ive visited in a long time.

Probably the worst wimpy I have ever been to. They couldnt make cappichinos for some reason so they brought filter coffee without milk. Coffee was very watered down. Waiter was half deaf and extremely old. Food was tasteless. They refused to make any substitutions even just replacing chips for hashbrown for my 18 month baby. My husband found black curly hair in his burger. The salt shaker had black sludge on the inside of the cap. I pointed all this out to the owner who was full of excuses and very unapologetic. This is not a type of wimpy you would expect in Hermanus. DISGUSTING. put off from wimpy for life thanks to this one.

We had the misfortune of having our new years breakfast at the Wimpy in Hermanus this morning... we were a big group of family and friends... we got a nice seat outside near the end railing... when we sat down the railing fell out and rolled into the pavement.... at least 3 waitrons saw it lying on the pavement..no one picked it up .. we then picked it up and rolled it to the side so that no one gets hurt... so firts of all we got served on dirty plates... our food was cold and brought in drips and drabs.. which we handled fairly well.. when the manager Hans finally came and noticed the railing was down, he loudly said and insinuated we broke the railing and that we were a bunch of baboons... honestly Hans, next time ask what happend.. and do not just assume you know best... you insulted us dearly where in actual fact WIMPY put us in harms way for not maintaining the restaurant railings... a serious safety risk and should have investigated...

Its a very peacefull atmosphere and your food doesnt get cold. The waiters are very friendly and kind but they do forget sometimes what you ordered if your in a big crowd

Service are terrible. Tables are not clean. Cocktail tomatoes with breakfast are cut in half to help them safe on there food account. Coffee are watery.

Wimpy is just simply the greatest breakfast joint in South Africa! I mean its quite hard to cock up a bacon and eggs, but whats a road trip without a hashbrown splashdown?

We were seated by a waiter and waited over 40 minutes for service. They would not even give us menus. When we called a waiter they just ignored us.

This Wimpy was amazing at making the kids feel at home and a very welcoming staff compliment.

Appalling! All management & staff are untrained and unprofessional. Me & my 4 year old son went for breakfast this morning. He order a combo meal that was supposed to look like a smiley face and he received a frank with 1 cocktail tomato cut in half a hand full of chips. I called the manager and he just replied So doesnt he want it anymore. They have no condiments for breakfast & waiters just pull up their shoulders. Now that other brands are being boycotted, isnt this a time to shine a little brighter? What a terrible waste of a wonderful opportunity!
