We enjoyed a very scenic, nicely challenging 8.8km hike with a well-prepared breakfast and coffee afterwards. Its a nice little spot with friendly people.

Fabulous walk and breakfast today, amazing views of Hartebeespoort dam, Pelindaba nuclear research facility, Joburg skyline 50km away, Magsliesberg mountains. SA at its best.

Not only for river rafting ,also has a nice little 8.6 km hike that has an amazing view of the Harties dam. Affordable prices..hike took our group 3.5 hours to complete, take a lot of water and sunscreen

Very disappointing due to the fact they are way too expensive R450 per person not per boat, so you pay R900 for a trip less than 3km ends in no time. Secondly they are not flexible at all if one needs to negotiate a whole family trip with multiple boats. Not worth the money

Very nice and friendly staff. Overpriced though. It was R440 ($30 USD) per person for a group of 6. The river banks are unfortunately covered in trash and the handful of rapids are very chill, even a bit boring. I see this as a more family friendly activity that should run about R300 per person to match the value.

First time river rafting. Not very well organised. In the info it says that they have helmets available to attach your gopro. I phoned to confirm the day before we went because they dont have any photography services avaliable. I went especially to buy a gopro after confirming. Got there this morning to be told they forgot to bring the helmets that has the gopro attachments. Further more the trees on the river banks are dirty and FULL of dirt like plastic. One person fell of their raft and when one of the guides tried to help him because he started to panic and could not get out of the current one other guide instructed them to leave him. Luckily they did not listen. No clear instructions given before you start. Just a crash course for your safety. We were stopped various times and then they had to scream to tell us to keep left when we go down... Also the helmets are very dirty and damaged and does not fit well. Room for improvement. Especially considering the price. Rafts are in a good condition. Bathrooms very dirty and no toilet paper.

I visited the pub where Paddle Power River rafting operates. Very friendly reception. The setting on the Crocodile river is idyllic. The pub is under nee management and is being cleaned up and psinted and refurbished. Bar prices are very reasonable and the litlmited kitchen service is very adequate.The road to the pub from the main tosd is rough

Sad to see rubbish river is pushing down... plastic bags from diepsloop all over nature... feel sorry for owners .... but guide was fantastic ... owner friendly... so ull give them a 5 (-,

Did the hike at rusty feather. It was ok. There was litter along the way which was a pitty. Once you get to the top the view is stunning. Only negatives was the offroad bikes on the trail and walking the first 3km on a gravel road.

I have enjoyed it but it was the hardest thing risky and nice though

I visited this place with my husband on the 27th of december of 2020 ,l really enjoyed the experience there,at first l was afraid of the water but thanks to the good instructors they have there they taught us how to do the rafting and it was fine all the way😻❤️👌and not forgetting their restaurant which serves delicious food .Good value for money

Absolutely amazing place to spend the day river rafting or even visiting the restaurant that looks out onto the river. The guides are incredibly helpful, care about ones safety and really do know what they are doing. The restaurants food is by far one of the best places to eat in Hartbeespoort. I just wish they will do something about the bathroom situation. Nothing wrong with it but I feel it can still be improved alot. Highly reccomend if your visiting the area.

The area is fantastic

Great experience. If youve never done it, you should definitely give it a try.This is a great place for novices and beginners because the rapids here shouldnt be dangerous.Theyre class 1 and 2 (or 3 and 4 after some rain).

The rafting was a good experience even though the river is extremely filthy. The guide was friendly and informative. At the premises there are no signs or directions to inform you where to go like reception, bathrooms etc. Other than that everything was highly enjoyable.

Absailing was sweet and short... The real awesomeness is on the river... Would recommend the river rafting and Absailing combo especially for groups because it is an enjoyable experience as friends... My partner and I joined another group of friends who were very friendly so we had an amazing time... A great day out, some time to enjoy some drinks on the river Bank with great views.. A MUST for outdoor adventure buddies...

It was fun to go down the river on our paddle boat. The staff were really good at answering questions we had about the river,surrounding areas and also they give you a snack when you take a break. It felt like we were family, us and the staff. Cudos to you guys. Definitely visit this place. 👌👌👌

Nice but needs some improvements

I have No problem with Paddle Power or the rafting it was fun.But I have a problem with the condision of the river system. It smells and looks like dirty washing machine water and has a lot of rubbish in and on the banks. You feel like taking a Detol bath afterwards if you ended up in the river like me. But thats just my opinion. Sorry to see how we are polluting our environment.
