We really enjoyed this experience. The whole restaurant is so pretty and allows for really beautiful photo opportunities with the Eiffesl Tower and all the locks.Menu was extensive but I think the plain French toast was the best option.I would definitely recommend. Think it might get crazy busy during the weekend but was lovely and quiet during the weekKids loved seeing something different

French Toast is a playful mini version of Paris in the North West. The little picturesque villa has a miniature Eiffel Tower that will transport you to a fairytale Paris. Another perfect photo opportunity is a mural of a Paris street. It has the Eiffel Tower in the background and a red Renault parked on the cobblestone road.@bassie_theadventurediva did a post and inspired me to come try this treasure. This restaurant is now on the top of my list for a breakfast or Lunch reward after a hike. Is that a thing? Do you also do that if so what is your favorite restaurant or pub?I had this scrumptious blackberries... And my husband went for a French toast burger.French Toast will not disappoint if you have a savory or a sweet tooth. Let me know when you have been there and what you think.

French Toast Koffie Kafee is a nice upmarket European themed place where you will find some great recreation of stuff from the city of Paris. With nice setup, great bistro and restaurants, this is a place where you can go every weekend or once a month. booking is essential else you will have to wait in queue. The place is Instagram photo hub where you can even leave a lock of your loved one on the small replica of Eiffel tower or street lights. You can take some vintage photos. Eat awesome food or cupcakes or just relax and enjoy the beauty. Must visit place in Hartbeespoort. Thanks

Great French toast, all covid protocols adhered to as well. Lovely service from the staff and you maybe lucky to meet some friendly locals. Wonderful during off peak season, but extremely busy and there is a chance you may not get a good shot of the little Eiffel Tower. Beautiful venue, fantastic food and excellent service. Little Paris offers a very special experience and French Toast is the perfect place to dine at if you are looking for something different. The food is yummy and deciding what to get is difficult because everything looks amazing!!There are amazing photo opportunities everywhere, and the Eiffel Tower overlooking the river and the locks bridge are a highlight. The atmosphere that has been created at Little Paris, and especially French Toast, really transports you to Paris. A lot of details was put into everything to make this venue special! We loved all of the peacocks and cats that could be seen walking around the venue! We went during the week, and most of the tables were filled; so I would suggest getting there early over the weekend as there will probably be a bit of a wait. French Toast adheres strictly to Covid protocols. This definitely is a restaurant that everyone should experience!!Follow @heloisetravels for more reviews and photos.

Follow @The_burger_rajah on FB and IG for more burger reviews:Just before the most recent lock down we ventured to @frenchtoastharties in Hartbeespoort. Heres how it went:🍔: 8/10🍟: N/A🍺: 7/10😷: 7/10The burger of choice was the Pain Grillé Français burger. Buns replaced with French toast, crisp lettuce, a thick tomato slice, melted cheddar cheese, an extra large juicy chicken fillet topped with an egg. I was most impressed with how tender and flavourful the thick chicken fillet was. You dont expect it, but it all just works. Gets an 8 because the egg was slightly underdone. The restaurant doesnt do fries (sad, it would have completed the meal) but instead crispy fried onion rings and crunchy beetroot chips were served.Although we were looking to sample a few French (or European) beers we werent really spoiled for choice in this regard with nothing on tap either. That said, the Windhoek draught came cold, fresh and really hit the spot.COVID safety initially seemed adequate with a temperature reading at the entrance as well as staff wearing their masks at all time but sadly this was not consistent. On the way out wed noticed a few staff members near the kitchen without masks and a couple of people walk in without the entrance COVID station being manned.All-in-all, a little slice of Paris condensed and a menu that is truly unique. Great food, service to match and a great overall experience. P.S. if youre really hungry, try the Dagwood!

The breakfast here is lovely. Unfortunately they do not cater for people with special dietary needs. They had no milk substitute options for their coffee which I was looking forward to since it was rather cold this morning. I settled for water and grabbed coffee afterwards down the road at Seattle. They use milk in their French toast recipe. I asked if they can use eggs only they refused. You can gather that I am lactose intolerant.Other than that, the eggs and bacon was cooked to perfection. Didnt try the sauce they gave me. The waiter couldnt confirm if it does not contain any dairy.

If I could give negative stars I will, I drove all the way from Montana to harties French Toast Kaffie Kafee, and I am so disappointed. The service is horrible, we have to talk to different waiters to give a order. The take long to bring a order of coffee and the food, I ordered French Toast, and I was old bread and it was cold and in no way on earth will anyone with a sense of mind called what I ordered French Toast, it was old and cold and it wasnt even soaked, it was just brushed on and there you have it, a poor old cold peace of milk brushed floppy bread. Will not recommend this place every again or be visiting it soon

Its basically Paris without the passport. From the cute Parisi an-styled bakery and shops, to the replica Eiffel tower overlooking a lake, youll be transported to Paris at French Toast Koffie Kafee. Snap a picture by the tower or buy a lock to add to the collection left by couples, while you wait for a table (it might be a little longer since the number restrictions for social distancing - but is worth the wait.) The food is nothing short of scrumptious. French toast in more forms and styles than you can imagine. Youll definitely want to make it a regular visit, just so you have an excuse to try all the menu options!

French Toast takes you on an adventure out of Harties and into a quaint French coffee shop, right next to the Eiffel Tower. The food and coffee was very good. Their food is just a little bit overpriced compared to other restaurants, but I guess you pay for the experience as well. They have a wide variety of food choices, from normal French toast and syrup to a French toast burger. Their drinks also range from wonderful aromatic coffee to a milk tart milkshake (which was exceptional). It was a wonderful experience and a must see for all!

Place is super cute, you have so many good places for pictures.they really worked hard on all the details. My experience with food was not good. Maybe desserts are better. But we came during lunch time and i was actually hungry. Limited savoury menu choices (i assume because of Covid). We ordered kiddies hotdog and one adult hotdog. They came exactly same, but adult one has one more tiny sausage and has 20 rand price difference. French fried toast around hotdog was so fatty that my kid could not eat it. Maybe just French food is not for us:) Service was very slow even on weekday. But overall very good experience and my kid loves it.P.S. sadly they dont have my native Ukrainian language on the wall ( on the real one in Paris there is Ukrainian language). But they put Russian in several places. I hope next timeduring renovation you can improve this point:)))))))) Я тебе кохаю!

A unique menu incorporating french toast in almost every dish. We had the chicken French toast burger which was extremely delicious. The chicken was flavoured really well and the combination of the french toast and mayo added a great flavor. The cheese grillers were wrapped in french toast. They were presented really well and tasted phenomenal. The service was a bit slow and our waitress seemed to be serving more than she could handle. The Eiffel Tower exhibit was beautifully constructed and made you feel like you were in Paris. Just a tip to anyone going to place a lock on the Eiffel Tower, its cheaper to buy one beforehand as they cost you R150 there.

The venue is super quaint and quite worth the trip alone. The old French style exteriors add such a nice vibe to the area. The mini Eiffel Tower and bridge of locks also makes awesome photo opportunities. The food in the restaurant also isn’t bad... I was just a bit disappointed with the actual French toast, as it was a bit dry and quite average in all the meals. The toppings make up for it a bit as they pile on a lot of meaty and cheesy goodness. The dessert selection is pretty good. The milkshakes are divine, we all opted for the alcoholic Milktart one. Service was quite slow though, as we waited for long to be served and our waiter barely checked up on us.

Good food, great environment. A real break away from the city. Its a French themed restaurant which incorporates French toast in all its meals. Overall a very underwhelming experience. The pictures on their page gives the place a lot more hype then its actually worth. It does have a lovely atmosphere but I think it has potential to be better. We waited about 30 minutes for a table we were on a waiting list. The bake away cafe could have had readymade sandwiches and perhaps a greater offering of French pastries and confectionary since they are selling the French experience, as there were people that were standing in qeues to get their locks engraved and milling around waiting for a table to be seated. They had a few breads, whole cakes (slices), croissant and cruffins. Nothing really eye catching definitely not a French Cafe bakery offering.Unfortunately the food was extremely disappointing. Their iconic French toast dagwood burger......the French toast was extremely dry it didnt taste like a rich eggy French toast just normal toast. The beef burger patty was as dry as biltong, the tempura onion rings were soggy and oily, the vegetable crisps tasted stale and out of a packet, and not very pleasant definitely didnt taste homemade. We ordered 3 of those dagwoods stacks all overcooked ,and a big brekkie which was average. Almost everything on their menu has French toast but their execution is poor, their restaurant is called French toast you would think that would be the highlight. The kids cheesegrillers wrapped in French toast my 2 year old enjoyed. Our waiter Shelton was lovely, his service was the highlight of the outing. Our bill came to over R800 and definitely not worth the price. We definitely wont be going again a pretty poor attempt of a French experience.Just another FYI their wasnt a kids area for the children to play while the adults are eating. The kids jungle gym is inside the aquarium entrance and you would have to pay R120 an adult to enter, R50 a child. Yes this does give you access to the aquarium but this does not help your dining experience so the restaurant isnt really kids friendly.

Hire more kitchen staff.2. Have more pastries in the take away section.3. Offer cappuccinos In the take away section.4. Have a dedicated espresso machine in the takeaway section.5. Someone constantly cleaning outside. That would reduce the load on the restaurant and allow you to turn over a lot more customers as my experience wasnt pleasant.
