The phones just rang, no one ever picked up. Also sent a message on the facebook page but havent had a reply to this day and I know I will never get one. Use at own risk.

Translux or city to city bus is affordable and comfortable for those long trips. Only problem is the poor maintenance of their busses such as dirty seats and curtains etc. It doesnt even have USB cable charging pt like other busses..
They drive nice, if they can switch aircon will be better . Inside the bus is hot and people are eating. Aircon will reduce sufocating.

The co driver is so rude he told me to keep my tog bag with me the bag is so heavy and full now the bag is next to me I cant even sleep.plus the bus came 2 and half hours late with no explanation at all
What a dreadful, appalling experience!!! Rude staff, non-functioning website, very difficult to reach customer care centre, got cut off 3 times, when i did manage to get through. The bus was 2 hours late, the driver was rude and the bus was in bad condition! I think cycling for 7 hours would have been preferable!

The bus broke down and we were rerouted to the City to City. Although their was no toilet on board the driver was kind when we needed to stop. The driver and his assistant were friendly and quite happy to chat with us. Seats were comfortable. But my first choice will always be Translux because of the toilet facility.
The Translux and City to City buses are normally the most affordable buses, especially for shorter distances. In the bus I took most recently, I wasnt very charmed, the bus had been traveling from Cape Town, I only got on for an hour, but in front of you, where you sit, there was so much rubbish from other travelers. Im not saying all the buses are necessar like that, but this one was.

The bus was late and they were unapologetic about this. The waiting area and the bathrooms were very dirty. I wouldnt recommend anyone to use the Translux. There were cockroaches on the bus, people dont sit in assigned seats which causes problems for people who are travelling with children. Terrible service

As a regular passenger I feel at home in using translux compared with other buses that I have tried which look far better but are a headache.

The bus stops wherever countless times and we were not allowed to break for more that 10min nor did they stop at all stops that have fast-food we had to sit for 15hours no food nothing

On 10 May around 12H00 I was driving to Cape Town when I saw a Translux Bus ZFG141GP overtaking on solid lines on 2 occasions and also his following distances was so close to the Lorrie in front of him I would not even get a Smart Car in that space at a 100 km/h this was on the road between Plettenberg bay and Knysna stretch off road. I tried to report this to Translux but the report line is permanent on engage tone.
Totally useless. Late on both trips. Unable to contact their office. Complaint line just dies. No answer re reservations. Local offices cant assist. Uuurgh

The worse bus ever. The bus had a break down close to Queenstown and we had to wait for 8 hours for a bus coming from Jburg. There was a lady who had a baby and the milk got finished and the was no assistance from the bus service. :-(

Bus left two and a half hours late. 21/12/16. Welkom to Johannesburg. Departure area has no seating or shelter. On return trip toilet not supplied with paper or light. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. What ever happened to final checking before departure. NO MORE TRANSLUX IF YOU VALUE YOUR REPUTATION. I suggest an alternative departure point. What about a garage with facilities.

Bus delayed for 2 hours due to a stupid conflict that took place in their coach. Now we have to suffer. I booked this bus because i wanted to get to durban at 7am because i have a very important meeting at 8:30am. City to city has a very poor service. Might as well close down if you fail to deliver a service that we paid for. Very, very poor.

P.E translux offices are nice ,clean & secured for us while we wait for a bus compered to Durban ,all translux buses are affordable too
The bus service is outdated. The chairs are very comfortable. No TV no USB chargers. Had to swop busses as lights where not checked beforehand. Government owned franchise so money to keep standards high has most probably been stolen. The drivers where excellent though.

Central Reservations,Help line,customer care,PE Branch,Joburg branch,Cape town branch....Ive tried calling all of them,not a single answer.Not even between 8-5.How does one speak to you people??How does one get hold of you,after paying?Where are those suppose to answer phones?Lastly..How do tickets show available the night before (6:30 pm),i book mine and the next morning their arent any drivers??The website says a different story,the news paper says a different story,and management say i different story.None which are the same.Shouldnt a immediate solution or refund be put in place for everyone that was looking forward to seeing loved ones this Easter weekend,who now have to run around looking for transport the very next day??

City to city broke down Tuesday morning and they didnt have the guts to let us know that the bus was going to be late. Wednesday evening they came one hour late.
U deserve zero. I booked tickect for my baby from pe to cape townnliving pe at 9:25pm n been told be at ring road and hour early. Was there just after 8pm 2/5/17 only to leave pe just now 23:58pm. Whenbi wanted to cancel n book a flight was told i will loos 10%. How is that for a service???
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. if I could give it minus stars I would. Bus was two hours late and said it would only be 45 minutes delayed. Then on the way home it was an hour delayed again. Bus is dirty, just terrible. Will never travel on this bus again.

First time using the bus and we got onto an accident just before Queenstown.Getting to Johannesburg was the hardest thing for me as I thought another accident would happen.The driver tried his best shame,hhayi but I do not know how I will get into a bus or taxi ever.I need counselling asap.
