Bus is comfortable but policy needs to be changed. Traffic delays resulted in an hour behind schedule. It was really hard when the bus did stop but did not allow passengers to take a break outside. I understand the need to make up time but passengers need a break as well.

I could downgrade to a 2 star, as the bus was filthy during the trip, no attempt to clean it up although I volunteered, at least 60% of passengers did not wear masks as required, neither were they checked up on got compliance, and halfway through the trip the toilet facilities- lights, flushing,etc had been disabled and the stench was overpowering. I expected better of this company, even though there are no hosts, but only drivers who dont really pay attention to the passengers.

Intercape for me is brilliant the bus drivers are always friendly from my experience the one downside is that there arent toilet facilities.. The trip itself is always a pleasure as the air conditioning assists with the heat of the long road feel very safe in general on the bus.. The only problem Ive experienced (which cannot be helped) is that when the bus gets full I always have a big mama sitting next to me pushing me against the window... Every... Single... Time

Not safe for night departures. There’s always a delay with the bus and you are prone to being mugged if you are early before the bus arrives.

It was an hour late on 17th September in George not even an sms that informs us that we will be late.

Used a GPS to get there and it was a mess to find the actual Bus Stop. Got lost and had to drive around the block a few times. 🙈

Excellent service as usual! Staff are always helpful and friendly, buses are great, comfortable and safe to travel. Very good experience. Travelled with 3 kids and didnt feel the journey! I dont even look to any other bus company when booking a trip. Buses leave on time, arrive on schedule. The sleepliner feels like being on an aeroplane. Very spaciois and comfortable!

I went there twice to pick up and drop off someone and both times the service was lacking. The two people working there were both very unfriendly and reluctant to to assist or answer questions.There arent any places to sit while you wait, which wasnt a problem for me but I noticed a few elderly people who would have benefitted from having seating provided for them.

This is a terrible bus services regarding punctuality!!! The bus for tonight from Pietermaritsburg was suppose to arrive in Port Elizabeth at 22:30. The bus only arrived past 00:00!!!!!!!!! This is unacceptable!!! And this is also not the first time that Intercape busses is very late on arriving!!!! I would appreciate if you can maybe please be more punctual in future.

I use to travel with those buses from here to Durban there are clean drivers are good , very respectfull they come and go on time

They had a problem of delays and that was understandable, but you cannot delay someone with 5 hours+, that is unacceptable

During KZN strike they didnt give us refund, rather tickets that were expiring in 3 days time, l ended up buying the new ticket when the strike was over..

The bus was very cold throughout the trip and when I return back to Cape Town I booked another bus.

Service is so great, you dont even stand long queue there, they are incredibly fast.

The are is very dangerous at night be sure to organize your trip before hand or better yet use the intercape at greenacres

My jounery waz good .the driverz did not give us any problem, the iz clean ,i waz not my first time to travel with your bus it iz chip ,i nearly really miss the bus last night i waz not late at 17:00 i waz there already the problem i waz awaiting 4 the bus at the wrong place (by the train station) i waz 17:30 i ask to the security at the train station when the bus iz coming he said i must go on the other side of the city hall yhoo i hv to run because the time waz against me luckly the bus waz still there awaiting the driverz & the other passengerz were still siting on the pavement one of the driver ask my sirname yho i could not talk properly becauze i waz running i jst took out my ticket & he said they were waiting for me all the time at 17: 45 the bus started to move .i dont blame that lady where i bought the ticket becauze she told me where i should sit & wait 4 the bus the problem i dont much abt PE it waz my first time to travel to PE i used to board the bus from EL to CT

I was attacked on the plain, my phone was stolen, but luckily the Municipal Police and the SAP was fantastic. Got my phone back and thieves was arrested. Wonderful service and everyone was so helpful.

It is ok but the charging points are not working and its really hard traveling more than 10 hours with a flat battery.

Ha you cant go wrong with intercape. Other companies close,due to covid ,I think intercape must be the the company to take over ,clean buss....

Ladies at the office very helpful and friendly, INTERCAPE did over charge us with our tickets and we would have waited in PE till now for a bus as the bus number was written wrong on our ticket. The one bus driver were very rude.

Delayed for two hours in Port Elizabeth due to mechanical issues and then moved from mainliner to budget liner, not good at all.

Buses are comfortable but not great for sleeping to be honest. Also get there early otherwise you wont get a window seat. Love the Christian content movies

Offices are small but staff is friendly. Service is relatively fast the earlier arrive before you need to leave. There is an incline from the offices to where the busses wait though, so if you have heavy or a lot of luggage I would recommend coming with a friend just for convenience otherwise its not terribly bad. This particular office is also situated in Central which is generally not a safe area but also not too bad if youre just vigilant.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, their busses great. But the starting time is 6am and they want you to be there 30 minutes before departure, when their office is still closed, its dark and its an unsafe area of town.

Im traveling with them right now 041>>021 .. Drivers friendly and informative.. consultants from the office were excellent as well.. cant complain about the distance to the Greenacres office which is only 5-8 minutes away from public transport cause I booked knowing that.. My only problem is the bus were driving with.. It has no charging ports which is kind of disappointing.. its one of the earliest models but upgrades should have been done a while ago.

We are from Durban and wanted to drop off packages to be transported for us back to Durban. So being out the area made it hard to find. Its is a bustling city centre near the town hall of PE. The service was okay nothing exciting. The toilets need a renovation. They were functional but dilapidated
