Had a bad experience with some off meat, got a refund which was appreciated. The regional manager of the meat market (wont mention names but a great guy) gave me a call and organised a generous replacement cut of meat no charge. Great to see big companies going out of their way to please customers.

Not sure of the reason behind it but Checkers Baywest has come up tremendously. Shelves have stock and are neat, price are GOOD, both merchandiser staff and Checkers staff go out of their way to assist. Very pleasant shopping indeed.

This shop is one of my Bay West favourites. They have a wide selection of everything one normally requires. Their merchandising of the shelves is always neat and tidy, with many shop assistants keeping tabs on this. Most shop assistants are very helpful however a few were badly selected as they have no idea of assistance or just plain pushing into a queue, this is very frustrating. The till assistants are very good. Please sort out the bad air conditioning smell. It is always present!!!

Pleasant experience as I seldom shop here and went to purchase a particular item. The salesman in the toys/kiddies department was very helpful.

All good and well best huge Checkers store,But ..they need to train their staff to be a little more professional. I went to customer service and they took their own sweet time to do my refund. As I stood there waiting 2 ladies were busy and 3 others pitched up all chatting casually away about their own business forgetting that a customer is actually standing there that was very unprofessional service. To top off the girl gave me a ten rand short and thats because she wasnt concentrating on what she was doing but more worried about the chitty chat that was going on! To add on, the barcodes you see is not what you pay, when they scan it goes through at a completely different price and it has happened so many times which is so annoying as having to go back to claim my money back and let me tell you its not just cents to leave it like that as its daylight robbery! So get your staff in order!!

So convenient! A husband’s dream come true! 🤣 Many tills open so you don’t wait long. A real one-stop shop. You guys have e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g! And your prices are better than anywhere else. Makes life simple when I am in PE because I only shop here and don’t drive my husband mad going to many places.

On a Sunday morning, a group of Checkers workers in a taxi decided to drive recklessly, almost cuasung an accident on the road and then when I hooted in my car, they all laughed and flipped me off. Each flipping me off. I am not impressed. I will not be shopping at a Checkers again.

Staff in this store behave terribly. Floor staff are unwilling to assist. While standing in the que to pay for groceries I witnessed 4 staff members push in front of a customer at the till. When I mentioned this to one of the supervisors I received a dirty look and was told that the customer said its fine. Now I am not so sure any customer would say, sure its fine if all 4 of push passed me while I wait. And most importantly how can a floor supervisor think that it is OK for the staff to behave like that... More bad service here

Always enjoy shopping at Checkers. Stores are always neat and tidy. You get all you shopping needs satisfied.
