As I entered the shop, I could see that the management and staff take their jobs seriously. It looked neat and tidy all around their store. Their whole staff were very friendly and efficient in their interactions with us. The shelves everywhere are neatly merchandised and their aisles are not cluttered nor blocked with excess product. It was nice to see brown logod paper bags at the tills, packed by friendly assistants. Well done!!!

This is my usual checkers in PE.Staff is always helpful, but sometimes hard to find. The cashiers are amazing though.The store is big and has a wide variety of products.

Checkers Moffet on Main is my favourite shop to go. Friendly staff in general however some days the noise levels caused by staff members are totally unacceptable - mainly at the back counters........The area in the basement, where the 60 minute delivery guys come together, is some days a sore eye. It seems to be easier to throwing rubbish on the ground than in the bin a few metres away!

There is one incrediblely argumentative and combative cashier. I would rather leave the store, with out purchasing anything, just to avoid her making another scene. Customers should be treated with dignity and respect.

Poor service, many products are not fresh, found products with mites and their fridges are not working all the time, which causes food to go off and the store smells very bad. Pigeons in store is definitely not hygienic, especially when certain fresh foods are not covered. Staff and customers walk around with their masks off. I always have to scan prices, as they are not always on the shelves or they are wrong.

Can management please ensure that their staff adheres to social distancing to protect its customers. Was shock by the chaos with deliveries done in walkway and no social distancing.

If you show your opening hours as 07:30, then that is what it should be. Customers are queuing outside. Not 7:40!

One star is too much to give for this particular store.While all of us were in ten item queue, they closed the tills... There were atleast 5 people behind me...We got told to now join the main queues, where there were fully loaded trolleys with long queues.🤷‍♂️Everyone threw their stuff on the floor and the shelves, then left to buy items else where.Note that there were 3x ten item tills still open when we stood in this queue...Just my items alone was close to R400 and the people behind me had similar items.Checkers lost a lot of customers that day... and like I mentioned... this wasnt the first time.There must be a very poor manager handling these situations, as it seems like the staff is doing what they want with zero leadership.I will never buy at checkers again.

This store is conveniently situated and contains the basics.

This is one of the best branches of a supermarket I dont usually like. It is well set out and spacious, and not usually crowded, especially during the week. It carries a wide range of merchandise at very competitive prices. The specials are particularly attractive. It has a good butchery.

Massive drop in customer satisfaction. Was a great place to shop at but as usual the standard has dropped as per many of their stores. Workers pretend not to see to avoid any form of assistance. Management goes back on their word when out of stock promotions are still advertised. Just makes shopping frustrating. RSA has much to learn about customer service. I know that some people can be ridiculous with their requirements, but just simple people skills is not alot to ask for.

Shop opens at 8 not 7.30 weekdays

Service at bakery section shocking. Two customers waiting and 4 bakery staff not doing anything - in fact 3 watching a fourth write on a board. Had to ask for service. Then wrong order given by staff member.Clearly customers dont count for much!

Everthing you need all under one roof. Friendly and helpful staff along with quality goods at reasonable prices. The baked goodies are devine and to die for and the fruits and veggies fresh and crisp. The deli is also well stocked and the meats are fresh. Loved the outdoor things on offer and the ques was quick and your out the door before you know it.

Disgusting fresh produce!! Rotten tomatoes on the shelf. Rotten potatoes in the bags. Avocados where off we had to cut out so may off piece to selvedge what we could. Bread is mouldy!! Actually the bread is always stale and old. The meat is disgusting, twice Ive bought chicken and its been rotten!! And Ive had to through it away!! How the hell can a grocer label this as fresh and sell the disgusting food?? An inspector needs to good check this place out. NEVER BUY CHECKERS MEATS!

Over all a good shop. Great variety of products at reasonable prices. The tellers and pharmacists are lovely, however the floor staff are a bit rude and there is almost never anyone available to weigh your veggies.

Love this place. I do my weekly shopping here. They have everything I need. The check out can be long at end of month but most of the time its easy and quick.

Pleasant experience. Good prices. Easy parking. Clean. Fruit and veg could be better but compared to other Checkers, not too shabby.

Double check your receipts or watch the till when paying. Many specials on the shelves do not reflect at tills. This has gotten even worse since the Xstra Savings card has been launched.

I am not one to complain as I have my own business and know how difficult it is to please everyone BUT when a 76 year old Lady approaches your staff at the entrance of Checkers and is looking for a trolley and is told she has to go outside and get one. SIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.That is just plain rude and pure laziness coming from a staff member with NO respect for an elderly lady.You get one star for that ONE lazy person at the entrance but I must say I do enjoy your store. Dont loose focus.

I was very disappointed shopping at Checkers this week..my husband and I were treated with disrespect by the cashier.. as pensioners they stood by watching us pack our own bags and they were annoyed when I ask for help packing! Where are the good MANNERS and politeness of the staff? So wont be shopping there again!!

This is a large checkers. I recommend them for general items but thier fresh produce section lets them down.

Prices are reasonable and shop layed out well. My friend enquired about a smokker machine and found both units short on parts. We spoke to floor manager and said they couldnt give discount due to parts missing. They were going to return units to suppler. Three weeks later, these fish smokers were Still on the shelf incomplete! NOT GOOD. Rest of the shop a breeze. Warning when wanting to buy Pomergranite, these are sold per 100gms. Got a rude shock when we got to the till. In a way, false advertising!? Otherwise, reasonable prices and service.

Well stocked, good varienty of products on the shelves, clean and tidy, Checkers prices.Iv always found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and easy to find, unlike some other stores where shop-floor staff seem to hide from customers.

Checkers is big and got inside pharmacy . Fruit and vegetables not up to standard. Toilets are far to walk to in this mall.

Its a 2 minutes walk... whenever I need to buy groceries... or go to shops there.
