Had burgers and milkshakes. Everything was super including the service - great Classic Spur experience.(Only want to mention that the Oreo milkshake was too thick to drink through the paper straw but the chocolate milkshake was perfect)

I ordered some take outs Monday night and most of the onion rings didnt have any batter on them, most of the chips were under cooked but the rib burger was tasty- it usually comes with two minor rib patties but only came with one. My advice dont order take aways close to the time they close, your food wont be up to their own standards. Of course the staff will want to go home at that time and even though theyre open they wont put 100% into your food, very lovely service from Rene, thank you.

Nothing beats a spur burger with an ice cold draught. Good service and good food, food was prepared just the way I liked it. Did not wait long and the glasses were always full. The vegan meals were surprisingly delicious as well.

Not a good experience. The Service was slow and when the food arrived, it was cold. The steak was good though.

Situated on Port Elizabeths main arterial roads, this Spur is worth a visit. You get their normal Spur menu and also any specials for the day, however their service has been upgraded. We will be met and greeted at the door, guided to a table and your order taken. Your drinks arrive quickly, followed soon afterwards with, in our case, our breakfast orders. The grandkids made a bit of a mess and they assisted us quickly. The meal was great and we thoroughly we enjoyed this Spur. Security cameras allow you to watch your kids in the play area. Well done to management and team.

I dont normally take the time to leave reviews, but I feel compelled to point out the amazing experience we just had. From the moment you step through the door, the manager (unfortunately I didnt catch her name) created a welcoming atmosphere, by being friendly and attentive, with a stunning personality. Good on you, mate. Id also like to commend our waiter, Juandre and what I believe to be his shadow for making the experience memorable. He was nothing but friendly and made sure to pop by the table on a regular basis. Our food and drinks came out at a speedy pace and was absolutely delicious. Cant think of a better way to spend quality time with the family on a Sunday afternoon. Keep it up. Ya’ll are knocking it out of the park

Food were nice, always. My first time drinking bar one milkshake not very nice. Not so thick and creamy like the other milksahakes and the bar one chocolate all against the glass I had to take it of on the side of glass to taste any bar one. I would not order bar one milkshake ever. I will stay with strawberry milkshake as usual

What a very good experience. The food was excellent and the service outstanding.

Staff very friendly & efficient. Last time we dined there, was disappointed (Monday 10 May 2021) steak & spare ribs lacked the sizzling barbecue taste. Instead both meals tasted as if meat had been parboiled & then just basted afterwards with a sauce.Veggies were cold.

Its family friendly and my kids love going there.

Me and my family experienced racial discrinimation not from the staff and management but from the people at the restaurant as if black people are not supposed to be there. However that is not the restaurants fault, but certain individuals who just will not change, thats just apart of life you cannot force people to change their idealogies, however they should not affect other people.Other than that, food will always be great at Spur 10/10, been going there for almost 15 years now.

Due to COVID, we are more aware of close confined indoor places. Not only did the size of the premises make as feel safe in terms of social distancing, the food was good and the staff friendly.

Half empty due to Covid but still a 40 min queue to get in, a 20 min wait to order food & drinks, then a 40 min wait for food to arrive and thats after complaining to the waiter. The food was warm but not hot.And then the bill came but nobody came to take payment so I had to go to the cash desk send ask to pay. I wonder whether they want my business? I wont be going back.

Definitely not my favorite Spur. Our waitress was not very friendly and we felt like an inconvenience to her. One coffee cup we were given was filthy and had food particles stuck to it. The food was good though, so all was not lost. Luckily there are many other Spur restaurants around, so we will rather pick a different one next time.

The last 2 visits were terrible! Maybe the chef has change.The ribs were overcooked and rock hard. The buffalo wings rock hard with some sour sauce.My husbands chicken schnitzel very over cooked.Something has changed along the way.

Ordered through Mr Delivery. Selected mushroom sauce for the chicken schnitzel. No sauce arrived in the packet, so we ended up having dry schnitzel. Wont order from them again.

I was standing there and the lady wrote everything down but my takeaway order was completely wrong. I got a lot of wings and potato chips and sauces, no salads, not even a serviette. The steak was completely burnt and cold.

Love Call and collect. Their 2 x Burger, chips and onion rings for R99 is a bargain. Can choose between beef, chicken or rib burger.

How is this venue still open?One would think that after C19 restaurants would be eager to do business. Stood at the door for 5 minutes while bar staff looks at you. I tried phoning (while standing at the front door) 2 staff members walked past the phone letting it ring. People came in after us only to be helped first, we decided to have SUNDAY lunch somewhere else. Glad I spent my R2000 else where!!! Couple weeks ago we placed an take away order, food was sub standard. My daughter that collected the take away mentioned that time that the gentleman that received her was rude and unprofessional. We live 3 blocks from Spur, cant see that I will support them again. Now I understand why there is never cars in your parking area. Make space for another restaurant that want to succeed and uplift the area please.

What a dissappointing experience we had today at Spur. We waited 20 min and no drinks yet. No waiter in sight either. My husband enquired as we felt like leaving the restaurant. Just to check with the manager what has happened to our drinks ang guess what the waiter completely forgot to place the order. Ok so 10 min later here arrives our 2 drinks now we can place our food order. Ok 20 min later our food arrived. Natchos for R100. No meat in it. So this was the most expensive packet of chips with a bit of cheese and guacamole on it. They removed the mince from the dish. We were so dissatisfied with our complete experience today. Service was pathetic and food was a huge disappointment.

One of the few places that one can order the Beyond Burger in PE. And it is really good, accompanied by the customary Spur chips and onion rings!

Went for breakfast here, everyone enjoyed themselves. Good service with a smile. All the food came together and to satisfaction. There was even no judgement when someone at our table ordered not one but two heinikens! (due to their special at the time). There was even enough special spur pink sauce for everyone!

The food was not the high standard that Spur usually has.The chips must have been cooked hours before we arrived for lunch,and were warm , limp and not a joy to eat.

Complained, got an sms to say someone will call me, 2 days later, got another sms to ask if i was satisfied with feedback? Replied no and its been 7 days and still no repsonse. I would rather suggest going to galaxy grill. Service level is better and is literally over the road.

Food was decent. They have a nice play area but didnt like that there are two different entrances/exits to the play area on the opposite sides of the restaurant. Baby could go in on one side and walk out on the other side without us realizing it. Not a good kid friendly lay out. Food was the usual Spur average (I think its a known that Spurs portions and food have gone backwards over the years and most people go for the family aspect).

No words for the service. Send glasses back as the soap stains was ridiculous, nobody bothered to bring us glasses at all afterwards. Waitron did bother to check even once on the table... Order some breakfast just to receive frozen chips in the plate! Will definitly not recommend. Rather go across the road and support Galaxy at Moffet on Main. This Spur can learn a thing or 2 about service and food quality from them....

The burgers wrre good, took awhile to arrive. The spurs need to bring their spanish sauce vack, it was far superior to the fairly bland peri sauce

Lunch was at 17:10! Burger with Music by Daria red wine blend. The chef tried to make my burger medium. He almost succeeded! The wine was great. The onion rings were crisp. The service was attentive. The waitress erudite

The play area for kids is very spacious with multiple games and fun activities to choose from. The staff is sweet by nature and the food was awesome.

We ordered the pork ribs and chicken takeaway but when we got home there was no chicken in the bag. Very disappointing, especially considering it cost R200
